Special Repairs and Maintenance to Chaul Khadu Lighthouse

Setting up-Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to all height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineerin-charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars & serviceable materials for reuse and disposing the unserviciable materials within a lead of 50 m including supply of all labours, tools & plants and finishing etc. complete as directed by engineer in charge. for top roof slab concrete , intermediate floor conrete etc. (The rate is inclusive of hire/running charges of all tools, materials, consumables, equipments, machineries etc)

Dismantling steel work in built up sections (Hand rails, steps frames, sun shade frames) in angles, tees, flats,pipe and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead complete as directed by the engineer in charge. (The rate is inclusive of hire/running charges of all tools, materials, consumables, equipments, machineries etc)

Dismantling of existing wooden/steel doors, windows, ventilators, cupboards etc of frames and shutters without damaging the adjacent structure including removal of chowkhats, frames, architraves, holdfasts, hinges, fastening and other attachments and including stacking the serviceable materials for re-use and disposing the unserviceable materials from the site. Supply of all labours, tools and finishing etc. complete as directed by the engineer in charge. (of area 3 sq. metres and below) - for trap door

Dismantling steel work in built up sections (Hand rails, steps frames, sun shade frames) in angles, tees, flats,pipe and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead complete as directed by the engineer in charge. (The rate is inclusive of hire/running charges of all tools, materials, consumables, equipments, machineries etc) for ladders and internal handrailings

Masonry plastering, concreting, steel work- Structural Steel work in single section, fixed with or without connecting plate, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position, and applyying a priming coatof approved steel primar etc. complet

Providing and fixing 18 mm thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished, machine cut black granite for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size, approved shade, black colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish etc. area of slab over 0.50 sqm, complete including supply of all labours, tools, materials, rubbing and polishing and finishing etc. complete as directed by the engineer in charge.

Preparation of surface of steps, ground floor slab, middle level slab, top slab, verticles of parapet, top of parapet, and in the gap in the shell of lighthouse tower

Providing and fixing M.S. angle 50x50x5 (hot dipped galvanised) mm to act as nosing with lugs of M.S. flat (hot dipped galvanised)10x5 mm, 10 cm long, forked at end 60cm apart (minimum three lugs to be provided), including necessary welding and applying a priming coat of approved primer on exposed surface etc. complete (The rate is inclusive of hire/running charges of all tools, materials, consumables, equipments, machineries etc)

Providing and applying 30 mm thick self curing Ceremic Polymer Microconcrete of approved make having Compressive strength above M30, non shrink, impermeable , filling mortar to load carrying R.C.C member in two layers on cleaned concrete surface , including honey comb area (using manual/mechanical means). Mixing mortar of Nicosil C80 and fresh 53 grade cement with required water cement ratio for desired consistency and applying and finishing by manual trawelling , curing after curing initial setting time etc, as per manufacturers specification etc. complete as per specification and as directed by engineer-in- charge. Work shall be executed by certified applicator only and work shall be guaranteed for 5 years and guarantee shall be provided on Rs. 500 /-stamp paper. (Bond coat mentioned below is to be done before coating)
