Providing and laying Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC)produced in a batching plant having a Characteristic flexural strength i.e. minimum flexural strength of 4.1 MPa at 28 days using 350 Kg of ordinary Portland cement of 43 grade, fine aggregate, graded stone aggregates of 40 mm nominal size in appropriate proportion as per specification and job mix formula, laid in panels as per drawings/design as approved by the Engineer-In-Charge using Slip form paver/fixed form paver/ manual method including making necessary provision for expansion joint, curing, etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge and particular specifications. The item for execution shall also include the following operations: Mechanically cutting dummy joints 3mm wide x 1/3rd thickness of slab which is subsequently widened to 10mm for the top 25mm depth and construction joints 10mm wide x 25mm deep as per specification. Filling Polysulphide sealant in dummy, construction and expansion joints including providing closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up rod, and painting side of joints with Polysulphide primer, etc. complete (to be paid separately).
Note: For the purpose of tendering, the quantity of cement used for one Cum. of finished concrete may be assumed as 350 Kg. If the actual quantity of cement required as per laboratory mix design varies from the quantity assumed above, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of cement as per mix design, if any, shall be done as per the rate of cement in actual supply voucher from manufacturer/authorized dealer at the time of execution. Providing and laying of Hot Mix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and cement as filler of quality as specified and Viscosity Grade Bitumen (supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete [for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG-30 content shall be taken as 120 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregates as filler material].

Supply and laying of 80mm NB 'C' Class GI Pipe in runway/ shoulder for connecting Transformer housing boxes by cutting the bitumin/concrete of suitable size for laying the pipe, threading, cutting, jointing of pipe and providing check nuts at both ends/one end & filling the gaps with bitumen mix and making good the surface matching with original finish etc. as required and as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge.
Dismantling of transformer housing boxes of size of various sizes from the RWY/TWY shoulder and shifiting them to AAI stores.
Dismantling and reinstallation of 'T' shaped double pocketed transformer housing box at the existing location including providing 75 mm thick cement concrete of ratio 1:2:4 on all around the transformer housing box with required slope on the top to match with the bitumen surface and plastering of exposed surface with cement plaster of mix 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand) of thickness 15mm over the concrete surface including painting of MS box after installation etc. as required.
Installation of 'T' shaped double pocketed MS Transformer housing box of size 650x330x400 mm mm in runway shoulder including bitumin/earth cutting, providing 75mm thick cement concrete of ratio 1:2:4 on all around the transformer housing box with required slope on the top to match with the bitumen surface and plastering of exposed surface with cement plaster of mix 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand) of thickness 15mm over the concrete surface including painting of MS box after installation etc. as required.
Installation of MS Transformer housing box of size not lest than 330mm X 330 mm X 400 mm in runway shoulder including providing 75mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 all around and bottom of the transformer housing box with required slope to match with the bitumen surface and plastering of exposed surface with cement mortar 1:3 of thickness 12 mm over the concrete surface including painting top of MS box after installation etc. as required.
Installation of rectangular Transformer housing box of size 750x400x330 mm including earth cutting, providing 75mm thick cement concrete of ratio 1:2:4 on all around the transformer housing box with required slope on the top and plastering of exposed surface with cement plaster of mix 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand) of thickness 15mm over the concrete surface including painting of MS box after installation etc. as required.
Installation, testing and commissioning of elevated type runway Edge/End/Threshold/Guard Lights/Taxiway lights fittings (Halogen/LED) i/c installation of isolating transformers, crimping/ joining of connector kit along with other accessories required for commissioning including supply of all materials etc.as reqd. (except fixture, secondary lead, isolating transformer & Essna connectors).
Installation, testing and commissioning of inset type runway Edge/Centre line/TDZ/Runway Approach/Runway End/Taxiway light fittings with core drilling, aligning & setting including providing sealing material & installation of isolating transformers, crimping/joining of plug & receptacles, connection of secondary leads along with other accessories required for commissioning etc. as required. (except fixture, secondary lead, isolating transformer & connector kit which shall be supplied by deptt.)
Dismantling of RWY/TWY fittings from the existing trfr. housing box. Fixing of MS adapter box of size not lest than 330mm X 330 mm X 200 mm over existing transformer housing boxes with SS M10 bolts in the RWY/TWY shoulder including providing 75mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 all around adapter box with required slope to match with the bitumen surface and plastering of exposed surface with cement mortar 1:4 of thickness 12 mm over the concrete surface including painting the top of MS box after installation etc. as required.
Supply and laying of one number ISI marked DWC HDPE pipe as per IS 14930 (Part 2) -2013 with upto date amendments of size 90/76mm direct in ground at a average depth of 900mm i/c excavation and refilling the same as reqd.
Supply and laying of one number additional ISI marked DWC HDPE pipe as per IS 14930 (Part 2) -2013 with upto date amendments of size 90/76mm direct in ground at a average depth of 900mm in the same trench in one tier horizontal formation i/c excavation and refilling the same as reqd.
Laying of 1 No. AFL cable of 5 KV grade of size not exceeding 25 sq.mm in RCC/Hume/PVC/Pipe/closed duct as required.
Laying of one number PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE armoured power cable of 5KV grade of size not exceeding 35 Sq.mm. in the existing masonry open duct as required.
Laying of 2C x 4 sq. mm Secondary leads of 1.1KV grade in existing GI pipe as required.
Cutting kerf (concrete/bitumin) of suitable size including chipping, hammering, cleaning & drying etc., laying of 2x4 sqmm secondary lead upto 3 Nos. and sealing the kerf with sealent material etc. complete as required.
Supply and making straight through cable joint with 11KV grade heat shrinkable cable jointing kit including ferrules and other jointing materials for PVC / XLPE insulated PVC sheathed armoured Aluminium conductor AFL cable of 5 KV grade and of size 2C 25 Sq.mm.
Providing and Fixing 6 SWG dia G.I. wire for loop earthing along with existing cable as required.
Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm G.I. strip on surface or in recess for connections etc. as required.
Providing and fixing 25x5 mm GI Strip in 40 mm. dia. G.I. Pipe from earth electrode including connection with GI nut, bolt, spring washer, excavation and refilling etc. as required.
Supply of Earth Electrodes, 17.2mm dia. exothermic welded copper bonded rod 17.2mm dia, 3 mtr. long with terminal size 32x10mm with 50 Kgs. Of backfil earth enhancing compound and one no. of heavy duty plastic cover inspection chamber. Base metal shall be IS marked branded MS Rod and with all other accessories. Excavation of pit, Installation of Earth Electrodes of 3m long, 17.2mm dia. copper bonded rod and backfilling the pit with 50 Kgs. Of backfil earth enhancing compound and finished with fixing heavy duty plastic inspection chamber complete etc. as required. Testing, measuring and commissiong the earth pit as required.
Providing cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 Coarse sand: 4 aggregate stone of size 20mm) around the signboard including excavation of earth.
Supply of internally LED Illuminated Guidance signboards of various sizes completely made out of 2mm thick anodised aluminium sheets on all five sides except the front side fixed over a 2mm thick anodised aluminium frame work with sufficeint no. of aluminium legs with frangible couplings. The front side shall be covered with 4mm thick glare free polycarbonate sheet having the required details (letters & symbols) screen printed on self adhesive film of 3M and pasted on the inside of the polycarbonate sheet. The signboard shall be uniformally internally illuminated with adequate no. of LEDs/LED strips to achieve required illumination level and suitable for operation on airfield series circuit input source of 2.5-6.6A without flickering.
Installation of guidance sign boards having 02 legs of various sizes with suitable foundation bolts i/c. excavation, cement concrete foundation etc. Testing and commissioning etc. complete as required.
