Excavation in trenches for laying under ground cable, errection of poles and stays in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter deep and getting out complete all as specified and directed by Engr–in–charge.

Supply and laying Sand cushioning to under ground cable in trenches/existing cable trenches/ducts in layers of 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm deep after laying and stretching the cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. Note: Punned thickness of sand shall be measured for payment.

Supply and laying Brick covering with width equal to length of brick as mechanical protection to cable with well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks laid dry flat complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Removing surplus excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a distance not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Taking out existing broken/unserviceable stay assembly and supply and fixing new stay assembly complete with accessories and GI stay rod 20 mm dia 1900 mm long, stay wire 7/4 mm stranded galvanised including mild steel stay plate 300 mm X 300 mm x 6 mm and galvanised thimble, galvanised steel 14 mm dia 400 mm long stay bow and GI nuts, washers including loop type insulator vitreous porcelain white, brown or green big size with overall dimensions 90 mm x140 mm clearance of hole 25.5 mm complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No. 1 of SSR part–I.

Taking down existing worn out/old/broken ACSR conductors of any size and length at any position from LT poles and supply, and fixing, stretching new ACSR conductors of any size and type for over head LT poles including binding at site to insulator with suitable size of binding wire etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

M&L for providing cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in -Charge.

M&L for providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for coping of poles including necessary form work and finished the surface cmplete all as specified and direced by Engr-in-Charge

Taking down existing rusted/worn out MS cross arm, angle, clamps, nuts, bolts and washers and supply and fixing new MS Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamp and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any type, shape or as indicated and directed inclusive of one coat of red oxide and one coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground ,(Earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level ,connected to and including galvanised iron earth wire 32 X 6 mm by means of nut, bolts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel and provision of charcoal dust and common salt packed all around the earth plate including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil and testing complete all as specified and directed and shown in electrical plate number 5 of MES SSR part-I(1991) (a) Excavation and earth work for drilling hole for electrode in any type of Soil. (b) PCC pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, Pre cast RCC cover with suitable handle 40 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric weighing not less than1.87 Kg/ Sq meter. (c) Funnel with watering pipe of GI 20 mm nominal bore light grade and lugs etc complete all as specified and directed (d) 50 mm nominal bore medium grade GI protection pipe 5 meter long for protection of earthing lead complete all as specified and directed. (e) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal. (f) Testing of earthing.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600X600X6mm thick burried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below the ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level) connected to galvanised earth wire 4mm dia as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, chuck nuts and washers of GI or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR-2009 (Part-I) including charcoal dust common salt, 20mm bore GI medium grade watering pipe funnel with wire mesh, including 15mm dia GI pipe light grade for protection of GI earth lead including PCC pit 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with angle iron 40X40X5mm frame 60mm thick RCC cover with 8mm steel bars 100 mm centre to centre both ways i.e. horizontal and vertical complete all as directed by Engr in charge and testing for required value complete. Taking out existing PCC/Steel tubular LT electric poles of any length including breaking of cement concrete, necessary excavation and earth work, dismantling cross arms, M.S. clamps, insulators etc and carefully taking down existing over head copper conductors or aluminium conductor & Supply and erecting steel tubular poles complete with cast iron base plate finial taper plug , bolts Nuts & screws complete all as specified type 410SP 31 of 09 mtr long including painting of pole with one coat red oxide primer & two coat of aluminum paint & emedded portion shall be painted with two coat of black paint all as psecified in IS including the following:-(Refer TD Drw No CEJZ/TD/824/91, Sht No1/2 dt 16.04.91 (a) Excavation in post holes in any types of soil ,return filling , well ramming and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr from the starting points.(b) PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation up to ground level all as specified and directed .(c) PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in coping including necessary form work. Taking down existing cracked/unserviceable Pin type insulator and supply and fixing new Pin type insulator porcelain vitreous white, brown or green including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised washers and one galvanised iron nuts 65 mm dia for 1100 volts grade complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Taking down existing cracked/unserviceable shackle type insulator and supply and fixing new shackle type insulator porcelain vitreous 75 mm high and 90 mm dia ball and socket type (white, brown or green) complete single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps suitable for ACSR conductor working pressure 1100 volts grade complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Drilling (Horizontally) existing road ( Maximum 10 mtr wide) suitable for passing GI tubing upto 80/100mm including making good to existing distrubed surface etc complete all as specified and directed.

Re - stretching only existing ACSR of any size on HT/ LT pole including binding the ACSR with insulators, aluminium binding wire complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) The above work includes cleaning pruning of tree branches falling around the conductors (ii) One length shall be measured for complete span of 4/5/6 conductors & GI wire.

Dismantling of old unserviceable doors, back sheets, side sheet of LT panels, bus bar chamber or feeder pillar box installed at various places by cutting/descrewing after making the system disconnected from Elect supply and S&F new fabrication of doors/frames/ partition, bottom sheet by bending hot or cold, making holes, notching, welding of MS black sheet for LT panel board, bus bar chamber, feeder pillar box made out of 2 mm thick mild steel sheet including providing hinges for opening or closing of door, making handles, locking arrangement and painting of sheet both side with superior quality smoke grey paint after applying a coat of red oxide and matching with the existing complete all as specified and directed by the Engr - in-charge at site. Note : The cost of disconnecting of LT cable and earth strip and reconnecting the same after repair work shall be deemed to be inclussive in the unit quoted rates.

Disconnecting, dismantling of existing old unserviceable LT Panel/Feeder pillar box and Design, supply, erection, commissioning and testing of outdoor type LT Panel, platform mounted, suitable for 3 phase 4 wire, 415 volts AC supply and having 4 Nos stepped type main copper bus bars of 630 Amps, looping & branch connection system shall be made with suitable rating copper bus bar having sleeves of colour coded .The chamber shall be painted with powder coated paint (Shade : RAL-7032) after 9 tank pre-treatment of surfaces

The LT Panel shall be provided with suitable Neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust and vermin proof and degree of protection not less than IP-55 and general construction conforming to IS : 13947. The LT Panel shall be made out of 3.15mm thick CRCA mild steel sheet and 3.00mm thick gland plate , front door (02 layers) and rear Door (01 layer) opening facility and 4 side slanting canopy type roof on top and mild steel channel (75 MC) base frame at bottom. All incoming MCCBs shall be marked with location and rating of MCCBs.
