SPECIAL REPAIR TO POWER TRANSFORMER 10 MVA AT ROORKEE ROAD UNDER GE (U) E/M MEERUT CANTT

M&L for disconnecting of defective transformer from power mains and dismantling the same from platform mounted substation MRS yard and transporting the same to workshop and opening the transformer cover, draining out of transformer oil, assembling, removing of the burnt parts ie. tape, paper insulating strings etc gently and carefully, washing of the dust, rust and dirt from all parts including taking out cooling tubes, welding and re-assembling after carrying out required repair and necessary fixing arrengement including connecting up electrically, commissioning and testing 10 MVA Power Transformer (33 KV/11KV) Step down at factory complete all as specified and directed.

NOTE :- (i) The contractor shall produce test certificate as per IS-2026 alongwith high voltage test from the firms after repair.

(ii) To accertain the fault of transformer at installed location, the transformer will be tested with HT 10KV magger, multimeter in the presence of AGE E/M/JE E/M. All T&P required like HT magger 10KV, multimeter and cables will be arrenged by contractor.

(iii) All the transformer shall be opened in presence of Engr- in- Charge/ his rep verify the various repairs/replacement involved and the transformer shall be assembled in the presence of Engr- in- Charge/his rep after necessary repairs/replacement.

(iv) All the transformer shall be tested in the factory in the presence of Engr- in- Charge/ his rep, as per ser note No 1 above and also in addition the transformer where specified to be installed and commissioned on platform and also shall be tested by the contractor in the presence of Engr- in- Charge.

(v) All the testing arrangement shall be provided by the contractor without any extra payment.

(vi) The contractor shall also furnished a guarantee certificate himself for rectification of the defects. If any noticed during defect liability period for 02 year from the certified date of completion.

(vii) The above shall however does not absolve the responsibility of the contractor for rectification of any defect, if any noticed during defect liability period of 02 year as per condition 46 of IAFW-2249 and the contractor shall be solely responsible for entire completion of work and for rectification of the defect/replacement of items/parts and required pointed out by the GE during defect liability period of 02 year. Payment only for dehydration of the transformer oil and painting of the transformers wtih MES No / Ser No replacement of certain items considered separately here- in- after shall only be made for separately all other minor repair/replacement as required made functional and ordered by the Engr- in- Charge for entire completion of work shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate of the above items.

(viii) The contractor shall also clear the breathers. The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall included this aspect also.

(ix) Contractor shall provide all arrangement for carefully handling/conveyance of/ transportation of equipment by means of crane/chain pully/recovery van and vehicles as per requirements and directed by Enge- in- Charge.

(x) Transformer 10 MVA oil tank rubberised gasket sheet pasted using gasket cement, oil level gauge, drain valve, painting inner side tank by zinc chromate paint and outer side by approved paint included in this item rate.

(xi) The rate quoted by contractor shall include all these aspect from (i) to (x) while quoting his tender that quoted rate also include the provision of providing electric connection to exisiting system. (xii) The cost of transportation shall be measured & paid seperately.

Labour only for 10 MVA for OLTC service and minor repairs complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge

M&L painting of existing 10 MVA transformer indoor/ outdoor on plinth in workshop with one coat of synthetic enamel paint with compressor spray Gun after removing all dust, Rust, paint shall confirmed to IS-2032 as directed alongwith marking of MES No / SM No & Ser No by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling and segregation for 10 MVA (Power transformer) HV leg coil from transformer and making new HV leg coil with insulating copper wire of required gauge craft paper cotton tape HV insulation as per as per IS specification of old transformer including ovening & heating after marking of coil as required complete all as specified & directed.

Dismantling and segregation for 10 MVA (Power transformer) LV leg coil from transformer and making new LV leg coil with insulating copper wire of required gauge craft paper cotton tape LV insulation as per as per IS specification of old transformer including ovening & heating after marking of coil as required complete all as specified & directed.

Lobour only 10 MVA transformer Assembly insulation for all 3-phases complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for 10 MVA Buchholz relay complete set all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10 MVA Arching Horn (set) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10 MVA Fiter valve complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10 MVA Radiator valve complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10 MVA Magnetic oil level gauge) complete all as specified and directed.

Replacement of 10 MVA transformer HV/LV bushing complete with metal part, gasket set, nut, bolts and washers for any type of transformer at site /in workshop complete all as specified and directed.

Replacement of 10 MVA HT bushing rod (brass) complete with nuts, bolts and washers for any type of transformer at site /in workshop complete all as specified and directed.

Replacement of 10 MVA oil drain valve for any type of transformer at site/in workshop complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & replacement 10 MVA De-hydrating breather with first fill of dehydrating agent (silica gel) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F OTI 150 mm dia, dial type thermometer, vapour pressure type having range 0-120 degree celsius with metal guard having maximum perimeter temperature reading indicator with re-setting device complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Filling of transformer oil in transformer in situ/at site for toping up the level of oil having dielectric strength 80 KV during filling after initial filtration conforming to IS-335. Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed container complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for shifting of transformer of capacity 10 MVA from existing PCC platform MRS yard to OEM approved authorized workshop/factory for necessary repairs and transporting back to MRS yard after necessary repair and refixing on platform by suitable capacity of crane and repair of patching work of platform with PCC alongwith two coat of white wash including necessary connection on HV & LV side and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.
