Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep in any type of soil including forming sides and bottom surface to required levels/slops/gradients etc. complete all as specified and directed at site. Note: The disturbed surfaces of roads/paths/plinth shall be made good to match with the existing surfaces and is deemed to be included in unit rate quoted.

Returning, filling in, excavated soil including leveling, watering and well ramming in layers of thickness not exceeding 25 cm in each layer complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing the soil where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting & taking up/down existing, cast iron pipe or water mains of any description / grade and in position including fittings, accessories and fixtures etc existing in between pipe line, by taking out and opening any type of joints (Tyton /Gasket / Lead joints) complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for 150mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed Note:-Earthwork, returning filling and removal shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

Supplying, laying, jointing & testing in trenches ductile iron pipes of 150mm bore with spigot and socketed ends class k9, conforming to IS 8392-2000 and suitable for push on joints complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note :-(i) Earth work, Joints and DI specials/fittings of the pipes shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of BOQ (ii) Joints of the pipes shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Material and labour for cast iron/ductile iron specials/fittings such as bend, tee, socket, collar Reducer, Tail Pieces etc. suitable for spigot and socketed/ flanged end pipe of up to 150 mm bore complete all as specified and directed

Taking up or down existing old cast iron sluice valves of 150mm bore and in any position, including taking out joints complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes

Supply, installation, fixing, jointing and testing, ISI Marked, of approved quality, 150mm bore cast iron sluice valve of class PN-1.6 conforming to IS-14846 of 2000 both ends flanged with iron wheel head and stainless steel spindle, long body type, jointed and tested complete all as specified and directed

Taking up or down exiting old cast iron non return valves of 150mm bore and in any position, complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing, ISI Marked, of approved quality, 150mm bore cast iron non return valve, both ends flanged jointed and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling & breaking down the old existing valve pit chamber of any size and any shape and remove material from site of work complete all as directed.

Material and labour for construction of brick masonry valve pit /chamber complete with 3mm thick MS sheet cover with locking arrangement of size 800mm x 800mm x 900mm (depth) (internal dimensions) as shown on Drg No CWE/TD/129 sheet No 1/1 dt 18.12.87 with and including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
