Providing and fixing retro-reflective signboards comprising of customised modular PU Epoxy Coated MS angle iron frame work, aluminum composite panel (ACP) as base board. micro prismatic retro-reflective sheet and electro cut colored overlay film/latex printing. The horizontal and vertical members including inclined outer members of the MS frame module shall be made of pair MS angle iron. No panel size shall be more than one sqm and each panel shall be braced diagonally (one way only) with MS angle. The MS frame module shall have length not more than 3 mtr. The aluminum composite panel (ACP) shall have a thickness of 4mm with 0.5 mm thick skin of aluminum on both sides. The ACP shall be fixed on the MS frame with pop riveting or with self taping SS screws 5mm dia spaced not more than 300mm centre to centre ensuring that no riveting is seen on either face of the frame. On the front visible face of the ACP, micro prismatic retro-reflective sheet conforming to Type-IV of ASTM: D 4956-09 shall be pressure fixed. The retro-reflective sheeting shall be tested for 3 year outdoor weathering test in Indian conditions as per IRC 67: 2012 & proof of the same in form of government report shall be uploaded with quoting tender. The rate include all materials, labour, equipments, fabrication, transportation, erection, installation and incidentals all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Reflective Raised Pavement (Cat Eye/Road Stud) Supply and fixing of raised pavement marker with made of Plastic body of RPM/ Road Stud shall be moulded from ASA (Acrylic Styrene Acrylonitirite) of HIPS (High-Imoact Polystyrene) or Acryloniitrite Butadien Styrene (ABS) or Any other suitable matrerial approved by the Engineer. The Marker shall support a load of 13,635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The Reflective panels shall consist of number of lenses containing single or dual prismatic cubes capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entring the lens face. Lenses shall be mouled of methyl methecrylate conforming to ASTM D788 of equivalent. The slop or retro-reflecting surface shall preferably be 35+/-5 degree to base and the area of each retro-reflecting surface shall not be less than 13.00 sq. cm. the marker height shall not be less than 10 mm and shall not exceed 20 mm & Width shall not exceed 130 mm. The base of the marker shall be flat within 1.3 mm all road studs shall be legibly marked with the name, trade or other means of identification of the manufacture epoxy installations, excess adhesive around the edge of the marker, excess adhesive on the pavement and adhesive on the exposed surface of the markers shall be imediately removed. The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the Engineer. In addition, a two year warranty for satisfactory infield performance of the finished road marker shall also be given by the contrator who carries out the work of fixing of reflective road markers. In case the markers are displaced, damaged, get worn out or lose their reflectivity compared to stipulated standards, the Engineer, at his own cost. The rate shall include all materials, labour, T&P, transportation, installation and incidentals all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Solar Power road marker (Solar studs) The solar studs shall be made of Aluminium alloy and poly carbonate materials which shall be absolutely weather resistant and strong enough to suppor a load of 13.635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280 its colour may be white red, yellow green or blue or combination as directed by the Engineer its water resistance shall meet the requirements of IP 65 in accordance with IS " 12063 1987 category 2 for protection against water ingress. The dmensions of solar studs shall not be less than 100 mm x 100mm x 10mm. It shall have super bright LEDs so as to provide long visibly from a distance of more than 800m. its flashing rate shall not be less than 1 Hz. Its should be able to give the prescribed performance in the temperature range of 400C to 550C. Its life shall be not less than 3 years. The rate shall include all materials, labour, equipments, fabrication. transportation, erection installationand incidentals all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
