Providing and fixing Semi Unitised aluminium structural glazing on lift or any other similar location with 13.52mm thick Laminated Double Glazed unit (6mm thick clear Heat Strengthened glass + 1 layer of acoustic PVB (1.52 mm) + 6 mm Glass, Low-e coating on face 4, SGG EVO ET 425 or equivalent) to ensure max U value of 3.8 w/sqm, using heavy duty aluminium extruded built up profiles. The properties of the glass shall be as per manufacturer/technical specification of the item. (Please refer technical specification of the item in tender document). The aluminium glazing members such as sash frame, cleat etc. shall be fixed to glass with structural silicon of DOW , waker. Specially designed mullions and transoms of extruded aluminium sections shall be of 6063 alloy with 60 micron powder coating of required colour. Vertical mullions be fixed to RCC beams/columns with designed aluminium brackets and Stainless steel Anchor fasteners PVC ply/Teflon separator membranes between metal to metal joints. Horizontal transoms to be fixed to vertical mullions with SS screws such that they are not seen in vision panels. Heavy duty, best quality EPDM gaskets at joints and connection between Aluminium members. Glazed curtain wall infill panels including approved fire-stop-cum smoke seal wherever applicable. All components should be sealed for water proofing with silicon of Wacker, DOW make or equivalent as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Vision panel with glazed units in approved shade with characteristics as per specification fixed in precise size on the outer face of the infill panel of approved make and glazed in fill panel to be formed by approved means of special structural quality silicone adhesive sealant layer manufactured to standards as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Items includes Structural design & drawing, preparation of Shop Drawing, Supplying, Installation and Fixing of extruded Aluminium Frame with structural mullions, Transom, subframe, cleats, fixtures etc. including supply installation of Laminated double Glazed Unit, cost of sealants, brackets, fasteners, screws, sleeve, spacer tape, backer rod, bolts, gasket, fixtures, double stage scaffolding, weather silicon, structural silicon, welding wherever required and any other required materials complete but exclusive of GST. The above work is to be carried out by a Specialized Agency approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and supplying aluminium extruded tubular and other aluminium sections as per the architectural drawings and approved shop drawings , the aluminium quality as per grade 6063 T5 or T6 as per BS 1474,including super durable powder coating of 60-80 microns conforming to AAMA 2604 of required colour and shade as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. (The item includes cost of material such as cleats, sleeves, screws etc. necessary for fabrication of extruded aluminium frame work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account).

Supplying and installation of moisture resistant/fire resistant 6 mm thick Heavy duty fiber cement board (High pressure steam cured) conforming to IS 14862:2000 of category III type B as per standard sizes fixed with self-drilling / taping screws. Screws shall be of counter sunk rib head of 1.60mm to 4 mm thick of 8 to 10 gauge of length varying from 25 to 45 mm.

Providing and fixing for Steel/RCC column/wall cladding/ facia with 4mm thick aluminium composite panel (as per technical specifications) around the columns/lift structure/dead walls at all heights. The aluminium frame work behind ACP PANEL shall consist of tube 2mm thick 38mm x 38mm as main frame in a grid of maximum 600mm x 600mm fixed to the structure with M6 x 75mm stainless steel bolts and nuts @ 300 c/c both ways. The above work is to be carried out by a Specialized Agency approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Only surface area of aluminium composite panel along with its groove shall be measured for payment). The cladding system shall be aligned for the entire height and for the entire width by lazer beam equipment to ensure 100 percent 'X' axis 'Y-axis alignment wherever required. The fixing of the panels shall be designed in such a way that they come in plane with the glass panels and no deflection is visible on the external face. All the vertical and horizontal section grooves and peripheral gaps shall be sealed with approved grade sealant (non staining) weather silicone (Wacker or Dow Corning or approved equivalent) to make the entire system synchronize with the basic curtain wall structure / steel structure and also make the system airtight and watertight. The fixing details should be got approved by site-in charge. The peel off foil should be removed at the time of handing over or as may be required by the Site-In-Charge. Warranty for structural / weather silicone adhesion shall be got approved from the approved agency to cover all risks against any failure of glass for a period of 15 years and shall be submitted to the engineer in charge on completion of the works. The item i/c the cost of ACP panel, cladding underneath for frame work, necessary frame work, tools and plants, Aluminium Frame behind ACP Panel, Weather Sealant, Gasket, Foam, Scaffolding, Fixtures, machineries, stacking, lifting of material at all heights, technical personal and as per technical specification, complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Replacing of broken Vision panel in exisiting Glazing Curtain Wall System with glazed units of size as per design and consisting of Laminated Double Glazed unit (6mm thick clear Heat Strengthened glass + 1 layer of acoustic PVB (1.52mm) + 6 mm Glass, Low-e coating on face 4, SGG EVO ET 425 or equivalent ) in approved shade with characteristics as per specification fixed in precise size on the outer face of the infill panel of approved make and glazed in fill panel to be formed by approved means of special structural quality silicone adhesive sealant layer manufactured to standards like Wacker, Dow coning or equivalent as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. For payment, only the actual area of glass on face # 1 of the glass panels (excluding the areas of the grooves and weathersilicone sealant) labours, taxes, cess etc all complete . (Items includes supply and installation of Laminated double Glazed Unit of thickness 13.52mm (6mm thick clear Heat Strengthened glass + 1 layer of acoustic PVB (1.52mm) + 6 mm Glass, Low-e coating on face 4, SGG EVO ET 425 or equivalent) including cost of sealants, screws,backer rod, gasket, fixtures, all taxes , duties, cess etc. all complete excluding scafolding shall be paid in repective item as per actual site requirement)The above work is to be carried out by a Specialized Agency approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) onthe exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm diaM.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joiningwith cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S.clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for workingplatform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for therequired duration as approved and removing it there after .Thescaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners,connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection ofwork at required locations with essential safety features for theworkmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measuredfor payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespectiveof duration of scaffolding. This item would be considered only under the execution of Item 5 of this BOQ.
