Excavation in earth work by mechanical in all heights and depths in all kinds of soils, including saturated soils comprising of mixed soil, oridinary rock and hard rock and all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side,water pollution,etc. and to protect stability of hill side, the track shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock(where blasting is prohibted) all earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true lines, grades dides, slopes,width,camber,super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by Engineer in Charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for rural road, clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 of general conditions for contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materilas useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal and dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable materials in specified manner, trimming filling of uneveness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer in Charge for smooth riding. the recovery for stones , whether useful or not, for 7111.33 cum(seven thausand one hundred eleven and point thirty three cubic metre) shall be made in all cases, otherwise recovery at the rate of Rupies 170/- only (Rupies one hundred seventy only) per cubic metre shall be effected on pro-rata basis. any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractors, which shall compensated by him inall cases.

Exacavation in soil in Hilly area by manual /mechanical means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth upto all leads and lifts as per drawing and technical specification clause 1603.1 and other deleterious materials and disposal including carriage of material upto all leads lifts as per MORD Specification and as directed by Engineer-In- Charge

Earthwork in excavation for all type of road structures such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etc. in all type of classification of soil comprising of oridinary soil,ordinary rock,hard rocks,chiselling/wedging out of rocks(where blasting is prohibted) as per drawing and MORD technical specifications clause 305.1,1104 and 1606.1 and as per the direction of Engineer in charge. including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing ,removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal upto all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excaveted suitable approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150 mm(one hundred fifty milimetre) compacted thicknes including shorting and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surfaceand sub soil water) upto all depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of Engineer-In- Charge and including carriage of materils within all leads and lifts .

Providing and laying cement concrete grade P.C.C. M-10 (ten) nominal mix 1:3:6 (one cement isto three sand isto six graded crussed stone aggregate 40mm ( forty milimetre ) nominal size Mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundation and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specifications MORD clause 802,803,1202 &1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying Cement Concrete 1:6: 12 nominal mix (one cement isto six sand isto twelve graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty milimetre) nominal size for Mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundation and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specifications MORD clause 802,803,1202 & 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of materials with in all leads , lifts and as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying Plain cment concrete 1:4:8 25 mm (One Cement isto four sand isto eight graded crushed stone aggregate (twenty five milimetre) nominal size Mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 802,803,1202 & 1203 including carriage of materials upto all leads, lifts and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Stone masonry work in cement mortar in 1:6 (one cement isto six sand) in foundation and retaining walls complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification Clauses 702,704,1202 and 1203 including carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts also and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Coursed rubble masonry (Ist sort) in cement mortar 1:6 (one cement isto six sand) in sub structure complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification Clauses 702,704,1202 and 1204 including carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts also and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of dry rubble masonry for retaining walls,breast walls,revetment walls and parapets etc. for sub structure and super structure complete as per drawings and MORDtechnical specifications MORD clause 702,704,1202 &1203 including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Back filling behind abutment ,wing wall and return wall and retaining wall with granular material complete as per drawings and MORD technical specifications clause 1204.3.8 (one thausand two hundred four poit three point eight ) including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and Laying rubble stone flooring laid in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement isto three sand) over cement mortar badding complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification Clauses 1303. (Bedding concrter to be measured and paid for separetaly) including carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts also and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete 1:5:10 40 mm (one cement isto five sand isto ten graded stone aggregate forty milimetrs nominal size) mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundation complete as per drawings and MORD technical specifications clauses 6802,803,1202 and 1203 including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and as per the same satisfaction direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying reinforced concrete pipes IS (Indian Standard) class NP-2 (Non Pressure -Two) of 900 (Nine hundred) millimeters internal dia meter for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing coller with cement morter 1;2 (one cement isto two sand ) but excluding excavation ,protection work ,back filling ,concrete and masonary work in head walls and parapets clause as per drawings and MORD technical specifications clause 1108 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts, as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

WBM Grading -I :- Providing, laying, spreading and compacting by mechanically means crushed stone aggregates of specific sizes 90 mm to 40 mm (ninety milimetre to forty milimetre) to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN (kilo newton) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening type B 11.20 mm (Eleven point two milimetres) binding material to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading-1 (one)as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 405. including carriage of material with in all leads, lifts and as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

WBM Grading -II : Providing, laying, spreading and compacting by mechanically means crushed stone aggregates of specific sizes 63 mm to 45 mm (sixty three milimetre to forty five milimetre) to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN (kilo newton) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening type B 11.20 mm (Eleven point two milimetres) binding material to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading-1 (one)as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 405. including carriage of material with in all leads, lifts and as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

WBM Grading -III : Providing, laying, spreading and compacting by mechanically means crushed stone aggregates of specific sizes 53 mm to 22.40 mm (fifty three milimetre to twenty two point four milimetre) to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN (kilo newton) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening type B 11.20 mm (Eleven point two milimetres) binding material to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading-1 (one)as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 405. including carriage of material with in all leads, lifts and as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared suface of granular base including cleaning of road suface with hydraulic brooms and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85 kg /sqm (Zero point eighty five killogramme) per square metre using mechanical means as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 502 (Five hundred two), low prosity including carriage of materials,with in all leads, lifts and as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.275 kilogramme (Zero point two seven five kilogramme) per square metre on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per techanical specification Clause 503 ( Five hundred three) including carriage of material with in all leads, lifts and as per the direction of Engineer-In- Charge.

Providing, laying and rolling by Mechanically means of open graded premix carpet of 20 mm (Twenty millimeters) compacted thickness composed of 13.2 mm. to 5.6 mm. (Thirteen point Two millimeters to Five point Six millimeters) crushed stone aggregates at the rate 0.27 cum (Zero point two seven)Cubic meter mixed with 14.6Kg ( Forteen point six kilogramme) penetration grade bitumen VG -10 (viscostin grade ten) per 10 (ten) square metre to required line , grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing and heating and aggregate in a suitable hot mix plant 30/40 (thirty by forty) tonne per hour capacity,transporting mixed materials and laying with paver finisher and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty to one hundred kilo-newton) static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed seal coat of Type –B- as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 508 (Five hundred Eight),VG-10 including carriage of materials, with in all leads, lifts and as per the direction of Engineer-In- Charge.

Providing and laying by mechanical means using Type-B seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 6.8 Kg ( Six point eight killogramme) penetration grade bitumen VG-10 (viscostin grade ten) mixed with 0.06 cum (zero point zero six cubic metre) crused sand 2.36 mm to 180 micron ( two point thirty six milimetres to one hundred eighty) per 10 sqm ( Ten Square Meter) premixed in a suitable hot mix plant 30/40 (thirty by forty) tonne per hour capacity, transporting and rolling complete with a three wheel 80/100 KN (eighty by one hundred kilo-newton) static road roller as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 510 (Five hundred Ten) including carriage of materials, with in all leads, lifts and as per the direction of Engineer-In- Charge.

Reinforced cement concrete M 15 grade kilometre stone/local stone of standard design as per IRC:8 fixing in position including painting and printing, etc. complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1703 5th kilometre stone (precast).

Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide clause 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting,1.50 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75mm x75 mmx 6 mm (seventy five milimetre into seventy five milimetre into six milimetre) firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M 15 grade cement concrete 450 mmx 450 mmx600 mm( four hundred fifty milimetres into four hundred fifty milimetres into six hundred milimetres) below ground level as per drawing and technical specification clause 801 (900 mm equilateral triangle)).

Providing and fixing of typical Nabard informatory sign board with logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS plates of 1.60 mm thick, and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25 mmx 25 mm x5 mm ( twenty five milimetres into twenty five milimetres into five milimetres) size on back on edges.the lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25 mm x35 mmx 5 mm (twenty five milimetres into twenty five milimetres into five milimetres) the angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75 mmx 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450 mm x450 mmx 600 mm (four hundred fifty milimetres into four hundred fifty milimetres into six hundred milimetres) below ground level. the top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47 mmx 47 mm( forty seven milimetres into forty seven milimetres) of 12 (twelve ) SWG steel plate tube. All MS will be stove en enameled on both sides. Lettering and prnting arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. all sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing and technical specification clause 1701 and annexure 1700.10.

CONDITION (i) Cement will be procured by the contractor and bills will be submitted. (ii) Bitumen emlusion SS-I,Bitumen emlusion RsSS-I & Bitumen VG-10, will be procured by the contractor him self and bills will be submitted (iii) Sand, crushed stone aggregate and stone aggregate (25mm,40 mm) will be used from approved Quarries (iv) The cube tests will be tested from approved lab by the contractor him self. (v) Explosive will be arranged by the contractor himself.
