Excavation in Hilly Area in Ordinary Rock by Mechanical Means not Requiring blasting. (Excavation in hilly area in ordinary rock not requiring blasting by mechanical means including cutting and trimming of slopes and disposal of cut materials with all lift and lead upto 1000 metres).

SH: Preparation of Sub-grade

Preparation of sub grade Preparation of sub grade by excavating earth to an average depth of 22.50 cm, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller, making good the undulations etc. and disposal of surplus earth, lead upto 50 m.

Consolidation of sub-grade with road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity including making good the undulations etc. with earth or quarry spoils etc. and rerolling the sub grade.

SH: Water Bound Macadam - I

Water Bound Macadam Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density. Grading- I Type A 13.2 mm for grading-I @ 0.27 cum per 10 sqm, Using Scrining Type-A (13.2mm agg.)

SH: Dry Lean Concrete

Dry Lean Cement Concrete Sub- base Construction of dry lean cement concrete Sub- base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per table 600-1, cement content not to be less than 150 kg/ cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, laid with a paver with electronic sensor, compacting with 8-10 tonnes vibratory roller, finishing and curing.

SH: Cement Concrete Pavement

Cement Concrete Pavement Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed, plain cement concrete pavement over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement @ 400 kg per cum, coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS 383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a batching and mixing plant as per approved mix design, for M40 Grade having minimum 28 days flexural strength of 4.5 Mpa, using approved admixtures, transported to site, laid with a fixed form or slip form paver, spread, compacted and finished in a continuous operation including provision of contraction, expansion, construction and longitudinal joints, joint filler, separation membrane, sealant primer, joint sealant, debonding strip, dowel bar, tie rod, admixtures as approved, curing compound, finishing to lines and grades as per drawing.
