Earth work in excavation of foundation of structure as per drawing and technical specification, i/c setting out, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of side and bottom and back filling with approved material. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and weding out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in excavation excluding rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, sides slopes, width, camber, super elevation and level as down on the drawings. Disposal of surfaceable cut materials in specified manner on dumping site through all modes of transportation including head load, animal load or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and all labour, machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage, rain and other causes shall be removed by suitable diversion, pumping/ bailing out or dewatrering and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases. i/c carriage of material by all modes of transportation as per the direction of Engineer in Charge. The rate comprising of octroi, royality, malkana tool tax, sale tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earthwork in excavation for all type of road structures such as retaining wall, breast wall and parapets etc. in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiesling / wedging out rocks (where blasting is prohibeted) as per drawing and technical specification true to lines and grades. Dimesions and other particulars as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 305.1(Three hundred Five point One) including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unserviceable excavated materials in specified manners to dumping site (to be arranged by the contractor) including trimming, dressing of sides and bottom, filling of unevenness blindages, backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Supplying, fitting and fixing in position true to line and level POT-PTFE bearing of specified capacity consisting of a metal piston supported by a disc or unreinforced elastomer confined within a metal cylinder, sealing rings, dust seals, PTFE surface sliding against stainless steel mating surface, complete assembly to be of cast steel/fabricated structural steel, metal and elastomer elements to be as per IRC: 83 part-I & II 2002 respectively and other parts conforming to BS: 5400, section 9.1 & 9.2 and clause 2006 of MoRTH Specifications 2000 and 2200 complete as per drawing and approved Technical Specifications to execute the job bearing design and drawing shall be got approved from the department well before start of fabrication bearing) The bearing shall be installed in the presence of authorised representative of the bearing manufacturer for which nothing extra shall be paid including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and all incidental charges. Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm (one hundred millimeter) dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1:20 (One verticle isto twenty horizontal) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 614, 709, 1204.3.7(six hundred fourteen, seven hundred nine, one thousand two hundred four point three point seven) or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying of Filter Media with granular materials/ stone crushed aggregate satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2 of MORT&H specifications (latest revision) to a thickness of not less than 600 mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall/ return wall to the full height and below boulder pitching on embankment slopes compacted to a firm condition complete as per the drawings and specifications ( MORT&H specification latest revision ). Item to include all materials, labour , machinery/ equipment and incidental work required to complete the job including carriage by all modes of transportation and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing laying and placing in position plain/ reinforced cement concrete mechanically mixed vibrated ensuring non segregation and curing complete for construction of abutments, abutment caps including return, dirt and wing walls as applicable, bearing pedestals, piers , pier caps etc. with M-35 grade concrete using 43/53 grade Ordinary portland Cement including all tyupes of shuttering, staging, scaffolding, necessary tools, plants, machinery and all related operations as required to complete the work with all leads lifts and depths true to level and position all complete excluding the cost of reinforcement which shall be paid separately as per drawing and Technical MORT&H specification 1500,1700 & 2200) including carriage of materials machineries tools & plants by all modes of transportation and as per the directuion of Engineer-in-charge . Providing and laying 12 mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course on top of deck slab excluding prime coat with paving grade bitumen meeting the requirements given in table 500-29, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine grained hard stone chipping of 9.5 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005cum per 10 sqm and at an approximate spacing of 10 cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surfaces not less than 100 deg. C, protruding 1 mm to 4 mm over mastic surface, all complete as per clause 515 and 2702 as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and all incidental charges. Providing and laying of a strip seal expansion joint, catering to right or skew (less than 20 deg., moderately curved with maximum horizontal movement upto 40 mm, complete as per approved drawings and standard specifications to be installed by the manufacturer/supplier or their authorised representative ensuring compliance to the manufacturer's instructions for installation and clause 2606 of MoRTH specifications for road & bridge works. as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and all incidental charges. Providing and erecting single sided single "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of cold formed W Profile section having thickness of 3mm (un coated thickness) with frame width of 311 mm depth 83mm and length 4318mm made of ISI Marked HR Coil confirming to IS : 5986/2011 to be fixed on cold formed channel section post of size 150 x 75 x 5 mm made of ISI Marked HR Coil confirming to IS : 5986/2011 spaced 1.50 m centre to centre of the post which will be of total 1.80 m height, 1.10 m below ground / road level and 0.70 meter above ground level. Metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with spacer channel of cold formed channel section size 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long made of ISI Marked HR Coil confirming to IS : 5986/2011. All the above components shall confirm to clause 810 of MORT&H Specifications (latest revision) including all fittings required for erection at road / site of work, spacer shall be hot dipped galvanized with zinc coating ( reaffirmed 2011) for bolts and nuts IS 14393/1996 (Re affirmed 2011) including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and all incidental charges. Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.275 kg (zero point two seven five kilogramme) per sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503 (five zero three) and as per direction of Engineer in charge including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportation in all lead & lifts and all incidental charges. Providing and laying 30mm thick Bituminous Concrete with 100-120 (One Hundred to One hundred Twenty) TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 (Seventy Five) tonnes per Hour using crushed aggregates of specified aggregates of specified grading, premixed with ituminous binder @ 5.5 (Five point five) per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rollign with smooth wheeled, viberatory and tenden rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORT&H specification clause No. 509 complete in all respects and as per direction of Engineer in charge including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportation in all lead & lifts and all incidental charges. Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm (two point five milimeters) thick and 0.10 (point one zero) meter wide strip in Center line / Edge line including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms ( two fifty grammes) per square meter area, thickness of 2.5 mm (two point five milimeters) is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 (thirty five) in accordance with Ministory of Road Transport Specification (Latest revision) and IRC Code.
