CERTAIN REPAIR/INSTALLATION OF RETROFIT EMISSION CONTROL DEVICE (RECD) TO DG SETS AND ALLIED WORKS AT NAMS

Supplying, Installation, testing & comissioning of Retrofit Emission Control Device(RECD) in existing 25 KVA/20 KW DG Set by welding of suitable size angle(not less then 50mmx50mmx6mm size of angle iron) for support setructure and suitable size ladder including cutting of old Silencer/mufflur without damaging Diesel Generator set and fixing of new Retrofit Emission Control Device by making necessary modification and painting the new assembly to match existing colour of DG set. The following technical specification and certificate as under:- 1. Technology : DPF (Diesel Particulate filter), wet scrubbing, Diesel Oxides Catalyst type. Device must be made of stainless steel 2. Guaranteed specified Particulate matter (PM 2.5) Carbon Monoxide , Hydrocarbon reduction efficiency: Minimum 70% for all DG Sets. 3. Maximum back pressure of 8.500 Pa exertd by the Emission Control retrofit device at max prescribed load by DG OEM (as per the capacity of the DG set). Necessary precaution to be taken in Exhaust scheme design to avoid condensate/steam back entry to DG sets which is/are not in operation. 4. General Technical requirments for Commissioning Retrofit Emission Control Device(RECD)

a) Emission Control retrofit device shall be complete with safety precautions to ensure no damage should be done to the DG set operation under any circumstances. The Emission control retrofit device should be closely coupled with the DG Exhaust to ensure 100% of the exhaust passes through the Emission Control retrofit device. b) Anti-Vibration mountings shall be provided for complete Emission Control device in case of flexible coupling with the diesel generator exhaust. C) Retrofit Emission control device should have protection against under voltage, under frequency, over frequency, low battery voltage, over current, earth fault, short circuit, phase sequence change etc. d) Automatic main failure (AMF) control panel, where applicable, shall be able to start up the emission control retrofit device without requiring any human intervention. Simillary on restoration of main supply, it shall be able to turn off automatically. e) The Retrofit emission control device shall be with corrosion resistive and heart resistance paint. f) Standard set of tools consisting of a set of 3 spanners, one screw driver, one standard plier and one nose plier of appropriate size shall be provided along with each Emission control retrofit device. 5. The installation work of Emission control Retrofit device to follow the advisory, as per E-in-C Branch letter No.A/37696/Gen/Pol/E2W(PPC) dt 29 Jun 2022. Make : KOEL, Mahindra, Cumminus or as approved by E-in-C's Branch

Notes for Item No 1.00 to 5.00: Note: (i) Test report and Type approval certificate of the Retrofit Emission Control Device will be from CPCB, Recognised/approved Laboratories. (ii) Warranty on RECD set of two year after date of completion of work. (iii) Number of Preventive maintenance visits offered in a year during warranty period 2 Visits. (iv) The seller shall provide the trail run (testing) of RECD.The trail run shall be for two Hours.The electrical loading shall not be more then the rated capacity of the DG set. (v) Exhaust piping, extra civil work shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost from the department. (vi) Drawing for RECD devices shall be got approved by GE before Fabrication. (vii) Any type electricity requirment at site to be provided by the Contractor. (viii) Before and after NABL test certificate from certified lab.
