SPECIAL REPAIRS / REPLACEMENT OF LT OVERHEAD CONDUCTOR BY LT UG CABLE OF OTM ACCN, SINGLE OFFICER ACCN OF HQ COMPLEX AND SPECIAL REPAIRS TO UG CABLE FOR STREET / SECURITY LIGHTS IN WEU AT BATHINDA UNDER GE(U) BATHINDA.

Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation, laying of cables or pipes (where provided) and getting out in soft/loose soil including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels complete all as specified and as directed .

Taking out old un-serviceable/faulty under ground cable of any size from pole / wall / cable duct under ground trench etc for re-use or removal from site of work complete all as directed.

Supply and laying or fixing or laid in trenches/ ducts/ through pipes/ in floors / under roads/ hard standing /along poles and testing LT cable XLPE, PVC insulated screened, bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armourd cable (heavy duty) 1100 volt grade with aluminium conductor having cross sectional area 185 Sqmm 3.5 core conforming to IS-7098 (Part-I -1988) complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per serial item No 03 above but sectional area 95 Sq mm 3.5 core.

All as per serial item No 03 above but sectional area 70 Sq mm 3.5 core.

The expenditure incurred for this shall deem to be included in the quoted rate of these items.

M&L for sand cushioning with coarse sand in trenches for protection of underground electric cable, spread to uniform 23 cm thickness and punned down gently to 18 cm complete all as directed.

Supply and laying well burnt sub class B breicks old size bricks, laid flat dry, in trenches with width of the bricks laid to the axis of cable for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick complete all specified and directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all specified and as directed.

Supply and laying or fixing GI tubing light grade 50 mm dia for cable protection including fitting under road / across the drain or nallah / laid in trench complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in charge .

All as per serial item No. 15 above but for GI pipe 40 mm bore.

All as per serial item No. 15 above but for GI pipe 80 mm bore.

Material and labour for making the hole under road and hard standing for laying and incluidng inserting Galvanised steel light grade pipe up to 100 mm dia including all fittings as required at site by mechanical drill system or Auger system and making the surface good as per existing surface completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Galvanised steel light grade pipe shall be paid under respective items.

Supply and fixing in repair junction box ,size not less than 200 mm x 160 mm x 98 mm, insulated type , made out with Polycarbonate with glass fiber reinforced. Cat Part No. KF2525 Make of Hensel / Siemens / GE Power / Rittal with MCB SP'C'Curve 2.5 Amp complete as per manufacturers instructions. Note :- 1.Manufacturer should submit routine test certificate for CJB/PJB. 2.The Polycarbonate Junction Box shall be environment friendly, recyclabe, UV resistant, halogen & silicon free, anti acid & anti corrosive. 3. The Junction Box shall be rated for Degree of ingress Protection IP 66 in accordance with IEC 60529. 4.The gasket material of junction box shall be Polyurethane and the gasket shall be internally embedded. 5.The Junction Box shall be complies with requirements of the standards IEC 60998 - 1, IEC 60988 - 2 - 1, IEC 60670 - 22 & IEC 60670 - 2 - 5. 6. The Junction Box color according to RAL 9011. 7.The manufacturer of Junction Box / Enclosure shall submit a copy of IEC Certificate . For beter safety the Polycarbonate enclosure and shall be fire retardant & self - extinguishing in accordance with IEC 60695 - 2 - 11, DIN VDE 0304 Part - 3, UL Subject 94 for Flammability V-2. It should be tested at Glow Wire test for 960 degree Centigrade. The impact strength of Polycarbonate enclosure / boards i.e. the Degree of protection against mechnical load shall be in accordance with EN 50298 - 98 for IK 08. 8. The rate of MCB SP 'C' Curve 2.5 Amp is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level sorrounded from all sides by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt fliing in alternate layers etc and connected to and including 32 x 6 mm GI strip upto 7.5 mtr by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron and protected by light grade 20 mm dia GI pipe connected to main control board and GI pipe medium grade 40 mm bore for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, charcoal salt etc RCC pit cover flush to earth pit 50mm thick reinforced with 8mm TMT bar 100mmC/C and PCC chamber pit with PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20mm graded aggregate) including excavation and earthwork disposal of surplus soil to distance not exceeding 50 metre) and testing after completion and including demolition of old existing one complete all as specified and shown on plate No 3 of SSR Part-I 2009.

S&F in repair PVC insulated FRLS stranded copper conductor cable , sheathed 1.5 Sqmm three core 1100 Volts for connection of junction box to light fittings complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for wiring of street light circuit on pole steel tubular / PCC with 2 x 2.5 Sqmm and 1.5 Sqmm earth wire , PVC insulated FRLS stranded copper conductor, single core, 1100 Volts grade cable in and including GI pipe light grade 15 mm bore fixed to PCC / steel tublar pole with 25 x 3 mm FI clamps, nuts, bolts and washers complete all as directed.

Taking down old unserviceable LT panel of any discription and size including demolished PCC foundation and all accessories such as MCCB/Cubical type switch /Measuring instruments /indicator lamps etc. complete all as directed.

Taking down old unserviceable LT feeder pillar box of any discription and size including demolished PCC foundation and all accessories such as MCCB/Cubical type complete all as directed.

Supply, fabricating, installation, testing, commissioning and electrically connecting LT feeder pillar box cubical type of size 60 cm x 40 cm x 30 cm, 415 Volts, factory made, machine pressed, dust and vernim proof, out door type, made with CRCA sheet 3.15 mm thick. Feeder pillar box shall be powder coated with seven tank process for treatment of degrasing, pickling and two coats primer before giving the stove epoxy finish, Front opening with single door with provision of rubber beading and locking system including 250 amp aluminium bus bar set of four with provision of hole on bus bar for fixing of cable mounted on PVC / epoxy insulators including MCCB 250 Amps, 4 pole, 415 Volts rating with breaking capacity 25 KA, adjustable setting = 80-100% and magneting setting - 01 No and mounted on angle iron legs frame made with angle iron of size 25 mm x 25 mm x 5 mm and legs duly spray painted both internally and externally with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, legs grouted in PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate including necessary earth work , including all provision of opening for incoming / outgoing cables and testing complete all as directed.

Material and labour for cable root indicator of size 450 x 200 x 150 mm made of plain cement concrete and top edge kerbs (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate writing LT cable size and arrow for making good surface , grouting in PCC including earth work complete all as directed.

Supply and fix in repair stay assembly comprising of GI stay bow 14 mm dia, 40 cm long complete with accessories as shown in Electrical plate No 1 of SSR Part - I using galvanised stay rod 20 mm dia, 215 cm long with threaded ends GI nuts, bolts, washers, stay plate 30 cm x 30 cm x 6 mm thick ,2 Nosf thimbles, MS clamps made out of 50mm x 6 mm flat iron, loop stay insulator, stay wire 7/8 SWG complete including painting all exposed surfaces of MS work including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer complete all as specified and directed. Note : The cost Loop type insulators, Earth work and concrete work shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate of this item.

Cutting road, demolition of concrete (Un reiforced) in ground floor and paving thickness not exceeding 15 cm (below or above ground level), taking out old LT under ground cable of any size any description and old pipe, relaying the taking out old serviceable cable and pipe from this job or new cable and pipe in lieu of old unserviceable cable and pipe including material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate for making good and matching the existing surface complete all as directed. Note: (a). New GI pipe and UG cable if required shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Demolition of plain cement concrete unreiforced of any description and in any position not other wise specifically provided foe complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation and coping of electric poles/struts etc including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed. Note: Volume of poles/struts embedded in concrete shall be deducted during calculation the quantity of PCC for foundation and coping.)

Dismantling and taking down existing old unserviceable ACSR conductor of any size complete all as directed.
