Cutting in earth work in all depths and heights in all kinds of soils including saturated soils comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock, with chiseling and wedging out of rock. (where blasting is prohibited ) and their intermediate classification of soils including, dewatering wherever required setting out true to the required lines grades side slopes, trimming of bottoms and levels as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in charge at site, according to the HP.PWD. specification of 1990 volume-1 and sorting of useful and un useful materials and stacking the same in all lead and lifts and transportation of the un useful materiel for filling in road way embankments for grade improvement and leveling to required grades and then disposing of surplus excavated materials in acquired width of the road or on approved dumping site/sites through all modes of transportation including head loads, animals loads or mechanical means along with its leveling and fine dressing and carriage of all labour, machinery, materials tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidental necessary to completes the work by mechanical means and /or labour (if any required complete as per directions of Engineer-in Charge ) All useful materials, such as stones, shingles, aggregate and slates etc. shall be sorted out. The recovery of 573.46 cum useful stone during the course of execution shall be made @ 300/- cum on prorate basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the courses of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respect. including all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
