Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises etc complete all as specified and directed.

2. M & L for special treatment for sunken portion of WCs/Bath & toilet etc executed in following stages : Stage 1 : Cleared the sunken/lowered portion of RCC slab surface (including vertical total depth plus 100mm) of floors by wire brush. Chisel out any mortar sticking the surface. There after rendering of uneven surfaces with 6mm thick cement mortar with 1:4 (1 Cement: 4 coarse sand) mixed with integral water proofing compound to make it even and fair. Stage 2 : All junction points of side walls where CI/GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty. Stage 3 : After application of putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean. Stage 4 : Apply two coats of polymer modified cementious water proofing coating as per manufacturer's instructions to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level + 100mm height. The thickness of each layer shall be 1mm. When the secind layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface. Stage 5 : Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound as per manufacturer's specifications. Stage 6 : Carryout ponding test for 72 hours to ensure water tightness of repaired sunken portion. NOTES : (i) Mode of measurement : Only plan area will be measured and paid. (ii) The above treatment shall be got executed through applicator of manufacturer and necessary authenticated documents on account of above shall also be produced by the contractor.

Removing the old demolished material outside the MD land etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for filling of lean concrete 1:5:10 type E2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregates ) in sunken portion, as per requirement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 22 mm thick PCC M-20 grade type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded aggregate as in sub base floor / pavings complete all as specified and directed.

Screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 for laying floor finishes etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L joint free Non - skid Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick coloured tiles (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match complete all as specified and directed.

M & L PVC (SWR) floor trap, 75 mm dia outlet, plain with grating including jointing with solvent cement complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Bands, straps, supports or stays for rainwater, ventilating pipes, including bolts, if required and similar small articles conforming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC type B2 (1:2:4) using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations filling and mass concrete compete all as specified and directed

Removing the old demolished material outside the MD land etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips. Complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Precast cement concrete type 'B-1(1 : 2: 4) using 20mm graded aggregate in RCC cover slab (for manholes etc) chullah hoods etc and similar articles with plain surface set in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.
