DAY TO DAY MAINT RECITIFICATION OF LEAKAGE IN WATER SUPPLY PIPELINE AT FEROZEPUR CANTT UNDER GE (WEST) FEROZEPUR CANTT

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep in soft / loose soil for laying of pipe line or cable etc. not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance of 50m and depositing where directed at a point not exceeding 1.50m above ground level complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out PVC / cement water mains from trenches, of size 150mm bore complete with 'D' Joint, Clamps etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Earth work will be measured and paid for separately under respctive items.

Taking out PVC / cement water mains from trenches, of size 100 mm bore ) complete with 'D' Joints, clamps etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Earth work will be measured and paid for separately under respctive items.

Taking up or down of existing 150 mm bore CI (water mains) from Over head Tanks/ Walls/ from trenches complete with flanged, 'D' Joints, clamps, leads complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Earth work will be measured and paid for separately under respctive items.

Taking up or down existing 100 mm bore CI/DI/Steel water tubing and connections from trenches / walls / ceiling under floor complete with flanged, 'D' Joints, clamps, leads etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Earth work will be measured and paid for separately under respctive items.

Taking up or down existing 80 mm bore Steel water tubing from treanches, walls, under floor etc complete with sockets, unions, bends etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay of Centrifugally cast (spun) ductile iron with spigot & socket end, 150 mm dia class K-7 conforming to IS: 8329/2000 complete with (push-on) rubber gasket jointing and centrifugally applied inside cement mortar lining with portland slag cement as per IS: 455:1989 and external metallic zinc coating as per annex A of IS 8329 with finishing layer of Bitumen coating as per Annex C of IS: 8329. The standard lengths of the pipes are 5.50 meter (subject to tolerance as per clause 15.5.1 of IS: 8329:2000). Pursuant to clause 15.5.1 of IS8329, 10% of pipes in each size, may be supplied in shorter lengths, complete all as specified.

M&L for Ductile iron specials, ISI marked such as bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type, (straight, bend, increasing,decreasing or double socket etc.) Tee piece single branch."Y" junction,double branch,cross(all sockets or socket and spigot collars,caps and plugs upto 300 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Detecting leakage of water supply pipe lines of Cast iron of size 150mm bore from any location, any depth and repairing by providing jointing material lead, lead wool , flanged, clamps, nuts, washers/bolts & including necessary earth work etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Length of pipe shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective item of BOQ. (ii) Complaint of leakage shall be done within 48 Hrs after receipt by the contractor through any means of communication otherwise a panel recover of Rs 2000/- per leakage per day beyond the time shall be done.

Detecting leakage of water supply pipe lines of Galvanised iron of size 100 mm bore from any location, any depth and repairing by providing jointing material,"D" joints, union, clamps, nuts, washers & bolts and including new GI fittings if requied & including necessary earth work etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Length of pipe shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective item of BOQ. (ii) Complaint of leakage shall be done within 48 Hrs after receipt by the contractor through any means of communication otherwise a panel recover of Rs 2000/- per leakage per day beyond the time shall be done.

All as per Srl item No.36 here-in-before but without any material for attending the complaint of No Water Supply and check the complete system i.e float Valve, sluice valve at the respective pump houses and rectify the same within same day and ensure proper restore of water supply complete all as specified and directed. Note :- If water supply complaint not attended by the contractor within same day or till 12 hrs then recovery @ Rs 1500 per complaint per day shall be recovered from the contractor.

S&F in replacement of Stop Valve of Cast Copper alloy ISI marked, screwed down, high pressure with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends suitable for 15 mm bore iron pipe fixed complete all as specified and directed. Makes :- BIR / Leader / Zoloto

S&F in replacement of Gun metal, globe or gate valves,with iron wheel head, screwed both ends suitable for 20 mm bore iron pipe and fixed complete all as specified and directed. Makes:- BIR / Leader / Zoloto

Cutting of DI/CI/GI pipe of size dia 200/150/100/80 mm & to provide the connection in any size dia pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Colour code painting of supply mains pipe line, raising main pipe line,overflow pipe,washout pipe appling two coats anti rust paint over a coat of red oxide primere complete all as speificed and directed.

M&L for lead wool joints suitable for 80mm to 200mm bore CI pipe including burnig out / taking out the old unserviciable joint complete all as specified and directed.
