TENDER FOR REPAIR RESURFACING OF ROAD FURNITURE AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT KALUCHAK MIL STATION UNDER GE KALUCHAK

Repair to potholes any description not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud , or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths , etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m , putting in premixed as specified for thin bitumenous carpet(2cm) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand coat (6.8 kg with 0.06cum of sand ), again well rammed including supply of premix binder and sand depth of pothole not exc 30mm filling in screened and graded road metal , watering and well ramming complete all as directed and as specified.

M&L preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface withgunny bags to remove all loose dirt/or with mechanical air compressor etc. complete all as directed and as specified.

M&L applying evenly a priming / Tack coat at 5 kg/ 10 sqm with using bituminious VG10 grade all as specified and as directed.

M&L Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (using paving bitumen VG-30) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Scarifying of picking gravelled macadam for bituminious macadam surfaces in are exc 400 Sqm and not exc. 50mm deep complete and as specified as directed.

M&L premix , bituminous , macdam laid /rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness as specified) using paving bitumen (VG-30 Grade) of any penetration as binder content of 4% by weight of total mix, complete and as specified as directed.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick center lines, dashes , arrows etc. and the like not exc. 10 cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confriming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufactures intruction complete and as specified as directed.
