PROVN OF APRON/ RETAINING WALL BELOW EXISTING CHAIN LINK FENCE AND CERTAIN OTHER SANCTIONED WORK AT J-1 LOCATION UNDER GE (EAST) JALANDHAR CANTT

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundations etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n. exc. 10 sqm on plan and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25 cm thick each layer complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) to a distance n. exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling, mass concrete etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L brick work with old size sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius and built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick cement mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of newly plastered or un-plastered surface of walls including cornices, pilasters etc. and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands plinth cources, roof kerbs or mud stops, benching, coping, bed plates, parapets, water throughs and the like etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles throating, edges of interlocking/ chequered tiles etc complete including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling, post holes, mass concrete, surface channels, drains and other similar works complete all as specified and directed.

M&L steel work in tubular section including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes section with gusset plates, rails, braces etc completed drilled for fixing of steel gate sheeting or other covering, doors, etc to be prepared for sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel sliding door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging also fastening and fixing conforming to IS 1161-1998 grade st 240 complete all as specified and directed (for making sliding gate).

S&F rolled mild steel joist, channel, angle or tee sections fixed independently, without connecting plates, ( cut to ordinary lengths i.e. within 20 mm of the length ) etc confirming to Gde Fe-410-W (Gde -E-250) quality 'A' complete all as specified and directed (for making sliding gate).

M&L mild steel, plain black sheet 1.6mm thick as in wall cladding, steel gates and similar work, cut to size, holes punched including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams including bending or turning up, mitred angles etc as required complete all as specified and directed (for making sliding gate).

M&L preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Note for Srl Item No. 1.00 to 13.00 : All the above mentioned work have to be carried out to ground i.e. below the existing chain link fencing and the work has to be carried out in such a way that existing fencing doesn't get disturbed. The work has to be carried out in high security area.
