Supplying, laying, jointing and testing XLPE insulated, sheathed, armoured, heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 50 Sqmm, 3.5 core in trenches, on poles, through pipes, fixed to wall, under culvert or in air etc, including taking out/down and removing old unserviceable existing cable, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Neceesary Earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this BOQ.

Note: Neceesary Earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this BOQ.

Note: Neceesary Earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this BOQ.

Earthing complete with and including galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick surrounded by a mixture of charcoal and salt in alternate layers burried directly in ground vertically in a pit of depth not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected with and including galvanised iron strip 25 x 4 mm as earthing lead by means bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made out of galvanised iron, 32 mm bore (light grade) GI pipe for protection of earthing lead, 20 mm bore (light grade) GI pipe for watering with funnel, wire mesh including provision of concrete pit in plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate with 40 mm thick cover of reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-I, using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, reinforced with XPM weight not less than 4 Kg /Sqm and frame of angle iron 25 x 25 x 6mm with lugs 02 Nos and with 6mm dia MS bar handle made to shape ,excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil including testing including testing on completion, complete all as specified and and shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule 2009 Part-I, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Earthing to be done for replacement of existing earthing. The materials retrieved from earthing shall be credited to contractor.

Replacement of existing Moulded Case Circuit breaker with new Moulded Case Circuit breaker 100 Amps, 35 KA of Capacity 415 V 50 Hz, 04 Pole to be fixed on existing LT Panel. , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Replacement of existing Moulded Case Circuit breaker with new Moulded Case Circuit breaker 160 Amps, 35 KA of Capacity 415 V 50 Hz, 04 Pole to be fixed on existing LT Panel. , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Galvanized iron tubing 50mm bore light grade with all fittings,laid in trenches or under road crossing , or fixed alongwith poles/walls with clamps made of mild steel flat iron 25mm x 3mm including GI nuts, bolts and washers as protection pipe for cables and including taking down/out old existing pipe, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for laying of cable and foundation of poles, stays etc. and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each layer in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Sand cushioning to underground cable, provided with a layer 8 cm before and 15 cm after laying and stretching jointing and testing the cable, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Punned thickness of sand shall be measured.

Common burnt sub class ‘B’ brick laid flat in trenches over and across the length of cable with length of brick perpendicular to the direction of cable adjacent/abutting each other for cable protection, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note :- An amount of Rs. 22,150.00 on account of credit schdule for Sch 'A' Part-II Shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
