Schedule 'A' Part-I General Note as applicable for serial item No 2.00 & 3.00 of BoQ/Sch 'A' Contractors attention is hereby invited that estimated cost of serial item No 2.00 & 3.00 is Rs. 9,64,800.00 based on prevailing rates of Schedule of Minimum fair wages. Quoted amount against serial item No. 2.00 & 3.00 is less than the amount the work (Estimated of serial item No. 2.00 & 3.00 of BoQ/Sch 'A') then lowest bidder will have to deposit FDR in favour of Accepting Officer within 07 days from financial bid opened difference in Estimated cost & quoted amount of serial item No. 2.00 & 3.00 before evaluation of financial bid for acceptance of tender, failing which lowest tender will not be accepted. FDR submitted at the time of Acceptance of bidder will be realesed only after satisfactory proof of payment of deployed person under the respective serial item No. 2.00 & 3.00 of BoQ.

Manning and Operation of DG Sets for SRE, Base Ops and IT of different capacity installed. Generating set comprising of engine alternator, fuel tank, control panel, radiator, battery 12 volts, change over switch etc., in each shift of eight hours for three shifts round the clock every day of month including Sunday/holidays contineous operating with One FGM (Fitter General Mechanic), DG Set and all electricals panels/equipments, maint of panels for street lights at Tech Area day to day periodical maintenance & cleaning of all installations and equipments properly to keep dust free all the time and cleaning the surrounding area of installations Building (inside/outside) and panel board regularly complete all as specified and directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.

Notes for serial item No. 2.00 & 3.00 (Contd...) Note:- (i) Unit rates quoted by the contractor shall deemed to included for three shifts per day for serial item No. 2.00 and in case of decrease in shifts, the adjustment of rates shall be done proportionately. Contractor shall provide proper manning to give rest to the deployed person for sunday/holiday. For this purpose contractor shall provide one extra manpower on every Six FGM. (ii) Daily attendance shall be marked in attendance register by the JE concerned attandance shall be checked weekly at least by the Engineer-in-Charge and monthly by the GE. (iii) Dos" and Don'ts" standing orders of operating machines maintinance programme shall be displayed in each instalation (iv) Log book, log sheet shall be filled shift wise compulsory. (v) Operator shall be in proper uniform as approved by the GE and cost of uniform included in the rate quoted by the tenderer. (vi) Surrounding area shall be kept clean and tidy. Tool required for cleaning is deemed to be included in the quoted rates by Tenderer. (vii) Unit rates quoted by the tenders shall deemed to included for nuts, bolts, washers, Lugs, thimbles, wires, terminal clamps, distilled water required for efficient and smooth functioning of the equipment with out any extra cost to the Govt.

Notes for serial item No. 2.00 & 3.00 (Contd...) Note:- (viii) Fuel for operation of DG Sets shall be supplied by the Department as free for filling only. However, storage facilities of fuel and collection of fuel from MES Store shall be provided by the contractor. (ix) Daily log sheet for running hours, fuel consumption register shall be maintained by the contractor and signed by the JE /Other superinternding staff employed by the contractor . (x) Daily checking of oil level, oil pressure, priming, frequency temperature shall carried out and records shall be maintained by the staff employed by the contractor. (xi) All tools and plants like, tongtester, multimeter, spanner set test lamp, screw driver, tommy spanner set, hand gloves, cutting plier, tester, torch etc shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost and should be available with operation at Each Installation of DG Set. (xii) Operation will check the condition of three phase supply is health or not and also detect the fault in Automatic mains failure (AMF) Panel and LT Panel and will attend/rectify the fault immediately.

M&L for maintenance and servicing of DG Set of capacity 7.5 KVA to 62.5 KVA complete including draining out of diesel from tank, cleaning the tank thoroughly and refilling the drained out diesel, draining out engine oil from the chamber, cleaning the chamber thoroughly and refilling the same with new engine oil to required level, replacing the fuel filter, lubricating oil filter, check & clean air cleaner, change air cleaner elements, check coolant level & make up the same, drain the Fuel filter & water separator, filling the starting batteries with electrolyte/distilled water to maintain the required specific gravity, replace the unserviceable brass connectors for batteries, cleaning of battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery terminal posts & brass connectors, changing of V-belts, changing rubber hoses and clips of air cleaner, checking of exhaust leakage, governor, breathers etc, adjust/set the same for proper functioning of DG Set, checking of fuel, oil and water/coolant level etc, adjusting and keeping the fan belts to the desired tension, tightening all the bolts and nuts to the required torque etc, cleaning the DG Set with accessories as prescribed by the manufacturer and test for satisfactory running of DG set for two hour at connected load & record shall be made in respect of RPM, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, voltage, frequency, load current, battery charging, fuel consumption etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Notes for serial item No 17.00 to 21.00 :- (i) DHPP for testing of DG Sets and Engine Oil shall be issued by the department under Sch ‘B' free of cost. (ii) Enginer Oil, Fuel filter, oil filter, bypass filter, water filter, air filter, petroleum jelly, fan belt, fuel pipe, Air cleaner elements complete, Battery legs, Governer repair, gasket, nuts, bolts, claimps & Minor extra items shall be provided by the contractor and cost thereof is deemed to be included in quoted rates by the tenderer. No extra cost shall be admissible for DG set servicing on this accounts.

M&L for opening/taking down complete radiator assembly, draining out coolant/water from existing radiator, cleaning thoroughly the radiator fins by air blower recharging the chemically treated coolant and descaling complete radiator with HCL acid (Hydrochloric Acid), testing of water leakage of any and repair the same and refixing the same position complete radiator assembly of DG Set Capacity 250 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L in replacement of control safety (water) of DG Sets capacity 160 KVA to 250 KVA complete all as specified and directed.
