Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

In the case of death of a contractor after executing / commencement of the work, his legal heir, if an eligible registered contractor and willing can execute and complete the work at the accepted tender rates irrespective of the cost of work

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The amount put to tender is Exclusive of GST and the tenderer should quote Without GST

During the time of technical evaluation, if the employer finds that any certification/ information furnished is false, such bidders will be disqualified and barred from participation in the bid

The intending bidders are advised to visit the site of work before submitting their tenders

If any of the dates mentioned above happened to be a general holiday, the next working day holds good

Any Modification/ corrections will be published in the KPP -portal. The bidders are advised to visit the KPP portal web site regularly.

To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer in his name should have in the last five years period. i.e., , 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 & 2024-25 Achieved in at least Two financial years an average annual financial turnover (in all Class of Civil Engineering Construction Works only) of Rs. 20.87 Lakhs. (Usually not less than the estimated annual payment under this contract) (Updated to the FY in which the tenders are invited. Financial turnover of previous years shall be given a weightage of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of the financial year in which the tenders are invited). (The Turnover certificate issued by registered chartered Accountants along with UDIN)

To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer in his name should have in the last five years period. i.e., , 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 & 2024-25 Satisfactorily completed (at least 90% of the contract value), as prime contractor, at least one similar work Such as O & M of HT Line of 11 KV & above work of value not less than Rs. 10.50 Lakhs. (Usually not less than 50% Estimated Value of Contract) (Updated to the FY in which the tender are invited. The value of the completed works shall be given weightage of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of FY in which the tenders are invited and The necessary work done certificate issued by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer / Equivalent officer of the concerned division)

Tenderers who meet the above specified minimum qualifying criteria, will only be qualified, if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value. The available tender capacity will be calculated as under Assessed available tender capacity is( A x N x 2.5 - B ) where,A is Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years at 2025-26 price level (updated to the Financial year in which the tender is invited) taking into account the completed as well as works in progress.N is Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which Tenders are invited.B is Value, at 2025-26 price level (updated to the Financial year in which the tender is invited) of existing commitments and on going works to be completed during the next 1 YEAR Irrigation (period of completion of the works for which Tenders are invited).
