| 1.01[b] Enclosure: Outdoor type galvanised enclosure having modular construction with 2mm thick Galvanized Sheet Steel in Corrugated / Louvered design type wall design for better heat dissipation and providing robust construction. The degree of protection for HT & LT switchgear compartment shall be IP54 & degree of protection of transformer compartment of the enclosure shall be minimum IP34. The enclosure exterior shall be painted with polyurethane paint / epoxy powder coated paint shade RAL 7032 and tropicalised to Indian weather conditions. Each compartment shall be provided with the door and pad locking arrangement. The Enclosure to be tested for Internal Arc fault test to the tune of atleast 21 KA for 1 second (IAC A and IAC B) to ensure Operator as well as Pedestrian / General Public Safety, adhering to as per latest IEC 62271-202. Note:- GI strip and protection pipe from earth electrode to test point max upto 7.50M shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate as quoted by the contractor.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, for laying of pipe, cable etc or n. exc.10 Sqm on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.
Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete all as specified and directed.
Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point including spreading complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and spreading clean and dry fine sand free from sharp materials (unwashed) laying in trenches around the cable for cushioning in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23cm (15cm under the cable & 8cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Only punned thickness of sand shall be measured and paid.)
Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable covers, Class HV type1, flat, size 300 mm x 180 mm x 40 mm, complete all as specified and as directed.
supply and laying the Brick covering with width equal to length of brick as mechanical protection to cable with sub class ‘B’ fly ash bricks laid dry flat complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.
Supply, laying & fixing in replacement Double Wall Corrugated (DWC) pipes,50 mm outer dia and 38 mm inner dia, made of High Density polyethyline (HDPE) with all accessories i.e. all type of joints, Sockets, Elbows, bends and End caps etc. complete all as specified and directed
M&L for GI Tubes in repair of following size, medium grade, galvanised, with clamp of 25x3 flat iron welded to pipe fixed to wall/pole/ceiling or laid in floors or under road etc complete all as specified and as directed.
