Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m width and not exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil for removing/laying of pipe line complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m width and not exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard rock for /laying of pipe line complete all as specified and directed including removing of debries from site

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up unserviceable/ defective CI/DI/MS water mains (including all fitting) with spigot/ socketed / flanged ends including disconnecting pipes and fittings in any position ncluding segregation of serviceable pipes and keep in safe custody for reuse complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:-

Refixing of old CI/DI/MS Pipe and connection in new or old position including fittings with old/new bends, elbows, socket, nipple, tapers, and reducers etc as per site requirement and laid in trenches and testing for leakages complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:-

S&F ductile iron pressure pipes, class K9, centrifugally cast with spigot and socket ends as per following conforming to IS 8329/2000 with cement mortar lining inside the pipes with outside zinc coating suitable for push-on-joint (rubber gasket D jointing) in any length including DI specials as required at site confirming to IS 8329/2000 and all jointing materials and making good for disturbed surfaces of roads, path ways etc while laying the pipe line at site, site clearance for the route of pipe line, welding, cutting the existing CI/DI/MS pipe line of any size up to 400 mm dia for inserting branch connections etc complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:- Notes:- (a) Quoted rates deemed to be inclusive of Lead Joints / D-Joints / push on joint required during laying of pipes (b) The contractor is responsible for obtaining the approval from Police Department for Traffic Diversion and related works if required in consultation with the MES deparatment if required. M&L for Construction of new PCC solid Masonry valve chamber of size 1500 X 1500 X 1500 mm (Internal dimensions) with PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate 150 mm thick 150 mm wide off sets around over 100 mm thick hard core, 200 mm thick PCC solid block walls built in CM 1:6, 50 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 Type B1 coping finished even and smooth, rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) finished even and smooth, with out using extra cement internally including top of floor including excavation earth work in hard/Dense soil 3 mm thick MS sheet cover fixed on 40 mm X 40 mm X 6 mm thick angle iron frame with hold fasts embedded in PCC coaping with locking arrangement, mild steel handle and painting to steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for road crossing/drain crossing by adopting trench less tunneling work through specified pipe jacking method by erecting the equipment to true to the allignment and gradient by haidrolic pipe jacking technique complete including tunneling, excavation in any type of soils including hard rock, to cross water pipe line upto 200 mm dia in any length including jointing materials and necessary conveyance charges of machinery and other required materials in co-ordination with the concerned authorites complete all as specified and as directed including making good of distrubed surfaces. Note : Pipe will be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

M&L PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for coping of valve chamber complete all as directed

Supply and lay Pipes MS black ERW Steel including specials having nominal dia 150 mm of thickness 6.0 mm as per IS 3589 - 2001, Grade - 330 with plain ends and specials by welding, leak testing of line laid in trenches / floors/ walls /ducts complete all as specified and directed. Note: Quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of flange of suitable size as required, bends,welding and cutting etc as required for fixing of pipe .

Supply and lay MS black tubing ERW welded including specials , having outside dia of 212 mm and 6 mm thick ISI marked conforming to IS 3589 - 2001 with plain ends complete including connecting of MS pipes and specials by welding, leak testing of pipe line laid in trenches / floors / walls / ducts complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of flange of suitable size, bends as required , welding and cutting etc as required for fixing of pipe .

Supply and lay MS black tubing ERW welded including specials, having outside dia of 316 mm and 8 mm thick ISI marked conforming to IS 3589 - 2001 with plain ends complete including connecting of MS pipes and specials by welding, leak testing of pipe line laid in trenches / floors / walls / ducts complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of flange of suitable size, bends as required , welding and cutting etc as required for fixing of pipe .

Supply only MS black tubing ERW welded , having dia 600 mm including specials and suitable thickness to match with the water distribution header installed at GRPH thick ISI marked conforming to IS 3589 - 2001 with plain ends complete including connecting of MS pipes and specials by welding, leak testing of pipe line laid in trenches / floors / walls / ducts complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of flange and bends of suitable size as required, welding and cutting etc as required for fixing of pipe .

Repairs to water distribution header installed at Gun Rock Pump house after replacing 600 mm sluice valves 01 No fixed at the centre of the existing header with 600 mm dia MS pipe of suitable thickness including necessary arrangement complete all as specified and ditected . Notes: Quoted rates deemed to be inclusive of the following :- (i) Necessary excavation and T&P ( Crane / JCB), dewatering as required for replacent of sluice valves with MS pipe. (ii) Necessary arrangement required in existing header for welding of the piece of 600 mm dia MS pipe . (iii) Making good of disturbed surface including PCC. (iv) Complete painting of the header. (v) Any other arrangement required apart from the above during replacement. (vi) 600 mm dia MS Pipe will be measured and paid separately under relivent items (vii) Contractor should visit the site before coating the rates . (viii) Work to be completed within 12 hours of taking shutdown.

Arresting leakages happening from wash out pipe and adjacent wall of GRPH UG Sump of capacity 10 lakh galon after empty of the sump by using necessary arrangement complete all as directed . Notes: Quoted rates deemed to be inclusive of the following (i) Necessary excavation, T&P ( Crane / JCB), dewatering etc as required for the above. (ii) Necessary MS Pipe work including welding work . (iii) Making good of disturbed surface including PCC. (iv) Necessary water proofing treatment to be done by using quick setting water proofing compound of FOSROC / DR FIXIT (v) Any other arrangement required for replacement of washout pipe / DUmmy plate (vi) Work to be completed within 18 hours of taking shutdown/ handover of UG Sump . (vii) Contractor should visit the site before coating the rates .

Rectification of lekages in pumping /delivery lines (GI/CI/DI/PPR/MS) of size 80 mm to 100 mm at Military area / Military Roads /civil Roads /PWD Roads /Cantt board roads by taking necessary permission from respective authorities by excavating PCC/RCC/pavement/ soft & hard soil/rock of any depth by using necessary T&P (Excavator/hammer drill)as per the requirement, De-watering from the trenches by using pump sets, rectification of leakages, fixing of CI/ DI specials such as collars, bends/tail peaces, any type of gasket , welding work etc as required to arrest the leakages completely and making joints, filling the trenches, site clearences and PCC at the top portion as required complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) CI specials, lead Joints, D-Joints, Clamp joints, DI/CI Pipe etc shall be measured and paid under respective items of sch 'A'. (ii) Excavation and PCC will be measured and paid separately under relivent items. (iii) Rate of any kind of gasket and Lead joint , necessary barrication for safety of worker etc as required , deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
