Reconditioning of 750KW/1000HP JYOTI make HT motor S.No.134432 at Tawi Pump House, Jammu by way of disconnecting of slip ring leads and decoupling of pump and motor, disconnecting HT side power cable and rotor cable connections, dismantling slipring assembly along with damaged carbon brush bracket holders with carbon brushes, draining out all the motor oil from the oil chamber, removing motor half coupling, removing bottom end cover of the motor, hoisting and keeping the motor in horizontal position. Extraction of rotor from the stator, extraction of top thrust bearing with puller. Extraction of end covers and extraction of the old damaged top and bottom ball bearing No. 6248 MC3 and 6326 MC3 respectively from the rotor with the help of bearing puller. Servicing of motor by way of cleaning the rotor and stator winding, removing dust from rotor and stator winding, all the air vents of stator by applying air pressure using blower and then cleaning with cleaning agent. Varnishing of the motor both Rotor and stator windings by applying two coats of Dr Beck Becktol Red varnish till all grooves are filled and a uniform layer is formed. Drying out under controlled temperature till constant IR Value is achieved. Providing and fitting of new ball bearing No. 6326MC3 (at DE) and new ball bearing 6248 MC3 of reputed Make at NDE to 750 KW/1000 HP HT motor by applying recommended quantity of Servo gem 3 Grease bearing to 750 KW/1000 HP HT motor. Reassembling the rotor with the stator and other accessories. Providing and fitting set of brush holder assembly along with carbon brushes of slip ring assembly for 1000 HP motor suitable for current carrying capacity of 650 amp. The job includes fitting of the motor skirt on the base frame. Mounting motor on the skirt, making proper alignment and adjustment with pump and then coupling pump with motor. Making all the electrical connections to the motor and testing motor on full load. Providing and fitting of Rubber Hose pipe fitted with stainless steel coupler at both ends to connect with other hose at one end and water jacket for cooling bearing at NDE of motor at the other end. Job includes loading and unloading and transportation of motor /any components of motor required to carry to the workshop and back. Complete job includes cost material and labour charges.
