SCHEDULE ‘A’ PART-I (RE-SURFACING OF EXISTING ROAD )

Surface dressing on old surface with hot bitumen of grade VG - 10 of approved quality using 1.95 kg of bitumen per sqm with 1.50 cum of stone chippings 11.2 mm nominal size per 100 sqm of road surface, including consolidation with road roller of 6 to 8 tonne capacity, etc complete.

Supply and Laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of 63mm to 45mm to WBM specifications in uniform thickness, hand picking, rolling with 3 wheeled road/vibratory roller 8-10 tonne capacity in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding material to fill up interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density.

Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of On bituminous surface @ 0.50 Kg / sqm VG - 10, including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications

Providing and applying OF 2.5 cm premix carpet surfacing with Refinery Modified Bitumen CRMB 55 conforming to IRC: SP: 532.25 cum and 1.12 cum of stone chippings of 13.2 mm and 11.2 mm size respectively per 100 sqm and 52 kg and 56 kg of hot bitumen per cum of stone chippings of 13.2 mm and 11.2 mm size respectively, including a tack coat with hot straight run bitumen, including consolidation with road roller of 6 to 9 tonne capacity etc. complete.

Providing and laying seal coat over prepared surface of road with bitumen heated in bitumen boiler fitted with the spray set spraying using 98 kg of bitumen of grade VG - 10 and blinding surface with 0.90 cum of stone aggregate of 6.7 mm size (Passing 11.2 mm sieve and retained on 2.36 mm sieve) per 100 sqm of road surface, including rolling and finishing with power road roller all complete.

Providing and fixing Glow studs of size 100x20 mm made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite ) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer in charge. The glow stud shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35 (+/-5) degress to base .The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge

Earth work in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including disposal of excavated earth upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, disposed soil to be levelled and neatly dressed in all kinds of soil. for foot path

Earth work in excavation by mechanical / manual means in fdn trenches or drain n-exc 1.5 m in cluding dressing of side and bottoms, lift up to n. exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed,within a lead of 50 m. in all kinds of soil.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:4:8 as in mass concrete of specified grade.

Providing and laying in Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level in all shapes and sizes in cm 1:6.

Cement plaster 18 mm thick in two coats under layer 12 mm thick cement plaster 1:5 and a top layer 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 finished with a floating coat of neat cement.
