Annual Maintenance of Rolling Shutters in various Buildings at South Site for the year 2024, BARC, Trombay, Mumbai.

Servicing of the following type of rolling shutters of different sizes maximum size upto 6m x 7m including dismantling for over-hauling of individual parts for repairing and refixing after repairs i.e. top hood shaft cage, shaft case shaft brackets, springs, main curtain with lathe or mid bar type grills, wicket gate, side guides bottom tails, gear units, bearings, electric motors, starters and thoroughly cleaning all the components, adjusting the tensioning springs, if required overhauling or repairing shaft and gear units, re-conditioning end clips, re-aligning curtain ends, reconditioning dents if any, on the surface bottom rail and side guides, repairing the starter, inspecting, taking out and replacing the damaged or defective components (replacement of parts at extra rate is shown under item No.2 below), ensuring proper locking arrangements from both side and outside including all welding, drilling straightening, grinding, scaffolding, ladders, tools, tackles, with all consumables, such as lubricants, kerosene, grease etc. and shall hardware such as nuts, bolts, rivets, washers, keys, etc. making good any damages to civil works, cleaning, oiling, greasing and demonstrating proper functioning of the shutters after each service such as nuts, bolts, rivets, screws, washers, keys and necessary scaffolding etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge at site. Electrically operated type with lathe or grilled curtain, mechanical gear operated and pull & push type rolling shutters. (All types of Rolling shutters) Note : 1) Measurement will be done once only, for entire contract period. 2) The measurement of Rolling shutters will be as per structural openings, Hood etc. will not be measured separately.

Providing, Supplying and replacing in position wherever required the following parts after removing the damaged old part carefully including all labour, taxes, duties, scaffolding, transport, welding, drilling, grinding, tools, tackles etc. and with applying one coat of primer wherever required, including transporting the dismantled M.S/ metal scrap and depositing at Trombay stores as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at site. Up to 5.00 M Height

G. I. Laths - 18 G X 75 mm made from CRCA Sheet.

G. I. Bottom Rails (pressed type 10G with locking arrangement, handles, etc. in both ends and sides.

Providing, supplying , fabricating and assembling Shaft asembly for Rolling shutters using Heavy M.S. Pipes, springs & ring pully complete including erection.

Providing, supplying , fabricating and fixing M.S. hood cover with 0.90 mm thick M.S. sheet with supports for rolling shutters complete including erection

Providing, supplying and fixing minimum 75 mm deep M.S. guide channels with supports for existing rolling shutters complete including erection.

Removing existing damaged rolling shutter and transporting the same to Trombay village stores in truck or tempo. The rates are inclusive loading unloading complete all as directed.

Supplying and fixing Rolling shutters of approved make as per ISI standards made out of required size of MS lathes 18 gauge interlocked together throughout entire length and jointed together at the end by end locks mounted on specially designed pipes shaft with brackets, side guides and arrangements for inside & outside locking with push and pull operation complete including the cost of providing and fixing necessary springs of required size and M. S top cover of required thickness for rolling shutters.

Rolling shutters gear operated type with handles including top hood 0.90 mm thick.

Rolling shutters PULL and PUSH type including top hood 0.90 mm thick

Extra over the cost of rolling shutters for providing wicket gate of specified size in the M.S rolling shutters including fixing with fixing arrangements, hinges, locking arrangements, frames etc. all as per standard specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge complete.

Extra for providing grilled rolling shutter manufactured out of 8 mm dia MS Bar instead of lathes as per specifications, design approved by the Engineer-in-charge complete

Providing, supplying and fixing ball bearing to existing rolling shutters complete including erection.
