Providing and fixing in position suspended false ceiling system using 12 mm thick calcium silicate boards having 100% humidity resistance, incombustible as per BS476 part IV with thermal conductivity of 0.043 w/m KC placed in a suspended grid of size of 600x 600mm made of hot-dipped G.I steel sections wherein the ceiling sections of 0.55 mm thick shall be suspended at 1200 mm centres along the length of ceiling with 4mm dia G.I wires/ 1 mm thick strip hangers made of G.I sheet sections with necessary level adjusters and inter channels of 0.90mm thick with connecting clips and resting on the perifery walls on wall angles of 0.55 mm thickness including providing necessary openings for light fixtures, diffusers, trap doors etc to be made as per layout drawings and as per directions of Engineer-in-charge . The main tees to be suspended from the ceiling/ soffit with the help of metal dash fastners of 6mmx50mm, soffit clits of 25mmx35mmx1.60mm and 4mm dia G.I wire with galvanised spring steel levelling clips/ G.I strip Hangers at 600mm centers . the entire grid system shall be designed to bear a distributed load of minimum 25 kg/Sq.m (Only calcium silicate false ceiling area will be measured for the purpose of payment)
Providing and fixing 12mm thk BWP marine for false ceiling with 1.5mm laminate / veneer of approved shade / colour all complete as per architect's instructions & Detail Drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and fixing Lay in False Ceiling 600 x 600mm unperforated corrosion resistant aluminium magnesium alloy metal panel fixed in 24 mm 'T' Frame work of Module 600 x 600 mm. Panels shall be manufactured by Hunters Douglas or approved equivalent of size 575 mm x 575 mm of approved colour in 0.70 mm thick Aluminium Alloy 3105 with square edges Tiles to be stove enamelled on a continuous application for pre-treatment. The coils to be go through 4 stages of pre treatment Three times of oven baked through conversion coating , priming and finish coat ensuring superior adhesion, high corrosion resistance and good colour stability.The coils to be painted on both sides after degreasing. Inside surface to have a primer of 5 microns and a coat of natural colour of 5 microns, exposed surface to have a primer of 5 microns, binder of 5 microns and a topcoat of approved colour 15 microns. Grid system for fixing ceiling tiles shall comprise of tees. The 24 mm main tee runers shall be suspended at an interval of 1200 mm centre to centre. The 24 mm cross tee runner shall be suspended at an interval of 600 mm centre to centre and further supported with 24 mm cross tee with inter locking arrangements to form a Grid of 600 mm x 600 mm. The main tee shall be supported by means of 4 mm G.I.rod from slab / roof. The suspension shall be provided at 1200 to 1500 mm centre to centre.provision for lights, diffusers etc to be made including extra supports wherever necessary. Measurements shall be as per actual area of false ceiling with out deductions for lights and diffusers.
Providing and fixing of linear cell ceiling made out of Aluminium. The assembled cell ceiling panels shall be in size of 600x1200mm. The assembled cell ceiling panels shall made out of main blades in 9mm (W) x 40mm (H) in 1200mm (L), installed at 50 mm c.c. and cross connected to secondary blades in 15mm(W) x 37mm (H) in 600mm (L) with 300 mm pitch. The assembled cell ceiling panels are then clipped into U-94 carriers in GMS, coated in black enameled finished at 1200mm c.c. Wire clips shall hold the cell ceiling panels into the U-94 carriers. Once the U-94 carriers are installed then primary angles made out of GMS, type U1040 are cross connected to the U-94 carriers at 1200mm c/c. for lateral bracing .The whole ceiling shall be suspended by M6 threaded rods installed at 1200mm c.c. Carrying out Civil Engineering works like surveying & leveling, checking of formwork fabrication, reinforcement fabrication as per drawings, witnessing sample retrieval & testing for various construction materials, ensuring concrete ingredient ratio at batching plant and pouring of appropriate grade of concrete in plain and reinforced concrete works, ensuring proper mixing of approved ingredients & waterproofing admixtures for mortars and brickwork, plaster, flooring & waterproofing works and other civil & PH works including supervision of construction safety as per BARC specifications & relevant documentation, compiling, binding and preparation of tender documents & Agreements overall as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (1) Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Degree holder Civil Engineer with 2 (Two) years experience or Diploma holder with 5 (Five) years experience (Licentiate in Civil/Construction Engineering / Technology) conducted by Board of Technical Examinations / University / Autonomous Govt. / Govt. recognized recognized Polytechnic/ Institute. (2) Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Engineer for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the Engineer will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account. (3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per month as per requirement at site for the period mentioned in NIT. (4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one Engineer exclusively for the particular job. (5) Engineer should be engaged after scrutiny by EIC of CSS, ESG, BARC and approved by Competent authority and the deployed Engineer will report to BARC Engineer/ EIC. (6) The minimum notice period before change of engineer is 1 (one) month; failing which a compensation, for not providing technical support, of Rs. 1,915/- per day of shortfall in notice period will be levied on the contractor.
STRUCTURAL REPAIRS WORKS WITH PRE-PACKED DUAL SHRINKAGE CONTROLLED (volume stable in wet & hardened state), single-component ready-to-use, structural grade high build, alkali-resistant, fibre reinforced, thixotropic polymer modified repair mortar having excellent bond strength to old damaged concrete structures / surfaces by the following process: 1) Removal of loose/spalled or damaged concrete by chipping and cleaning the concrete surface to open up to 20mm behind the reinforcement steel with wire brush and with clean water including removal of dirt, paint, wax, oil, grease, laitance, foreign substances, etc. Mechanically profile and prepare concrete surfaces by abrasive blasting, water jetting or other engineer approved methods. 2) Cleaning the rebars with Acetone for complete rust removal and washing with water to make the surface clean. Ensure that the concrete substrate and ambient temperatures are between (10°C and 35°C) before application. 3) Applying protective coat / bond coat using Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) polymer and cement in the proportion of 1: 1 (1 part of polymer : 1 parts of cement). 4) Mixing full 25 Kg bag with clean potable water in water to product ratio of 0.12 to 0.18), mixed by heavy-duty slow speed (300 to 600 rpm) drill with spiral mixing paddle or forced action pan mixer pan for 3 minutes to achieve uniform lump free mortar consistency. 5) Applying polymer modified mortar with trowel & float. The polymer modified mortar shall have the following properties/technical parameters: (A) Properties / technical parameters of pre-packed Polymer Modified Mortar: i) Compressive strength 1 day: Min. 20 MPa (as per BS:6319 : Part 2) ii) Compressive strength 7 days: Min. 35 MPa (as per BS:6319 : Part 2) iii) Compressive strength 28 days: Min. 45 MPa (as per BS:6319 : Part 2) iv) Flexural strength in 28 days: Min. 7 Mpa (as per BS:6319 : Part 3) v) Tensile strength in 28 days: Min. 2.5 MPa (as per BS:6319 : Part 7) vi) Bond strength: Min. 5 MPa (as per ASTM : C881) vii) Water permeability: less than 1% (as per ASTM : C881) viii) Drying shrinkage in 28 days: less than 1000 microstrain (as per ASTM C 157-93) ix) Potential Alkali Reactivity - : <0.1% Expansion % (ASTM C1260) (B) Properties / technical parameters of SBR polymer bond coat material: i) Meets the requirements of BS 6319 part 2:1983 & ASTM C 190-85 standards ii) Total solids % by mass at 105°C: 38 + 1 iii) pH value: 7.5 to 9.5 iv) Specific gravity at 27.5°C: 1 to 1.05 v) Coverage: 4.2 - 4.5 sq.m/kg per coat. Notes:- (a)Placing and finishing the same with trowel / hand packing carefully compacting the same around the rebars and finishing to bring it in line with existing concrete surface on the beams, slabs, columns, etc. (b) If thickness of repair exceeds 20mm , after every 20 mm thick repair, bond coat as per process no. (3) mentioned above in the BOQ item, to be applied and further thickness of repair to be continued for each layer. (c) The surface preparation & method of application shall be as per manufacturer's technical data sheet. (d) The double tubular steel scaffolding will be paid separately in relevant item. (e) Sampling and testing of cube specimen for compressive strength test shall be as per BS 6319 - Part-2.Other tests mentioned above shall be carried out if required as per the direction of the EIC and the cost of which shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate (f) For each batch of mortar mixed, following records, i.e Quantity of mortar (kg) mixed, Amount of water added to the mix, Location of application and the area covered.(g) Payment will be paid on the basis of actual consumption of PMM & Reinforcement will be paid in the relevant item. (h) Safety Precuations:- Use wear tight-fitting, dust-resistant, chemical splash goggles and dust respirator, if airborne dust is generated, wear protective rubber hand gloves, wear appropriate clothing to prevent any possibility of skin contact. The above item of work is inclusive of all materials, labour, machinery, tools & tackels, consumables, trasportation, loading & unloading, safety PPEs etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in?charge at site using approved pre-packed polymer modified mortar suitable for structural repair works.
Providing 3 level polishing including Mirror Polishing of Terrazo / STILAN / Kotah stone flooring complete as directed by the Project Engineer.
Providing and painting TWO coats of synthetic enamel paint on new wooden surfaces of approved brand and manufacturer of required colour to give an even shade over an under coat of suitable shade primer of approved brand and manufacturer including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Supplying of Unskilled man power/ labour for loading/ unloading area, shifting of furnitures, cleaning and misc. works etc. including cost of equipment whichever is required at site all as per the direction ofEngineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying minimum 25 mm thick uniform shade Kotah stone flooring over 20 mm thick (Average) base laid over and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing in minimum three levels to obtain mirror polish complete with base cement mortar 1:4 (using crushed sand) all as per specifications, patterns and drawings complete.
Providing & fixing clean tarpauline of required size & 100 Micron thickness for covering the furniture and cupboards and tying them with ropes so as to keep them safely including removing them after completion of work & using them in rotation for other rooms as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Note : Payment of tarpauline will be done only once.
