Excavation in over areas, n.exc 1.5 M deep mtr and getting out in soft /loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in over areas, exc 1.5 M deep but not exceeding 3.0 mtr and getting out in soft /loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers, n exc 25cm thick in hard dense soil. Total depth of filling upto a depth of 2.80mtr. Note:-1 Rolling shall be carried out with 8 to 10 Ton road roller to each layer of filling to the entire satisfaction of Engineer- in -Charge. Note:-2 The earth shall be filled in craters during the exercise carried out by AF authorities. Note:-3 Earth spread around the caters shall be used for filling in the craters and ramming the same as specified in note No.1 Note:-4 The approximate dia and depth of filling of crater are 12 m and 3 m respectively.

M&L for hardcore of broken stone or boulders gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material obtained from crater to a distance exc. 1.50 KM but n exc. 5.0 KM n. exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point and depositing where directed.

Supply and stacking of 40mm stone aggregate for GSB & WMM complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Stone aggregate shall be measured in net, in compact stacks, prepared on level ground by deducting bulkage.

Supply and stacking of 20mm stone aggregate for GSB & WMM complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Stone aggregate shall be measured in net, in compact stacks, prepared on level ground by deducting bulkage.

Supply and stacking of 12.5mm stone aggregate for GSB & WMM complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Stone aggregate shall be measured in net, in compact stacks, prepared on level ground by deducting bulkage.

Supply and stacking of 10mm stone aggregate for GSB complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Stone aggregate shall be measured in net, in compact stacks, prepared on level ground by deducting bulkage.

Supply and stacking of sand/ stone dust suitable for GSB & WMM complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Stone aggregate shall be measured in net, in compact stacks, prepared on level ground by deducting bulkage.

M&L for 200 mm spread thickness granular sub-base using crushed or broken graded stone aggregates, of grading II as approved by GE in two layers of 175 mm spread thickness, each layer spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber as required complete all as specified and directed. Note: To achieve grading -II for stone aggregates the mixed proportion are as given under:- (i) Stone aggregate 40 mm size - 50% (ii) Stone aggregate 10 mm size - 35% (iii) Stone dust - 15% Material : As per MORTH table 401.2.1 the material to be used for the work shall be natural sand , crushed gravel , crushed stone , crushed slag or combination there of depending upon the grading required .Use of material like brick metal , kankar and crushed concrete shall be permitted in the lower sub-base. The material shall be free from organic or other deleterious constituents and shall confirm to grading given in table 400-1 and physical requirement given in Table 400-2 Grading II preferably be used in granular sub- base for this work . M&L for 200 mm thick (Compacted thickness) WMM laid in 2 layers of 100 mm each layer, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber as required including necessary lateral support and form work, if required using crushed stone, coarse aggregate of maximum size 40 mm of grading as specified type igneous rock such as /trap/basalt etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- 1. The materials reach to destination within three hours as and when ordered . The quoted rates deemed to be included such provision. 2. If the contractor failed to deliver the above materials within time limit as specified. He shall be liable to penalty @ of 30/% of quoted rate. 3. Preparing WMM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt, M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat paving bitumen with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sq metre etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150mm Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete (DAC-1) in three layers 50mm each consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. The approximate proportion of graded aggregate by weight of total mix, to be blended to obtained desired premix asphaltic concrete has been given here. (i) 20 mm graded stone aggregate - 27% (approx.) (ii) 10 mm graded stone aggregate - 17% (approx.) (iii) 6 mm graded stone aggregate - 15% (approx.) (iv) Stone dust - 39% (approx.) (v) Cement - 2% (approx.) (vi) Paving bitumen VG-30 /PMB-40 ( as available on near by hot mix plant )-5.5% Note:- 1 The materials reach to destination with in three hours as and when ordered . M&L for depositing, spreading and levelling in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface graded coarse aggregate 20mm to 40mm. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 30 mm thick layer of sand over WMM layer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 400 micron low density polythene film sheet (LDPE) as per IS: 2508 clause 4.9.1 complete all as specified and directed. Note:-(i) Side lap of 150 mm and end lap of 300 mm shall be provided wherever required. The rate quoted shall be deemed included for the laps. (ii) Clear flat area after providing sheet shall be considered for payment purpose and nothing extra shall be allowed for laps.

Supply / stand by position of Tool and Plant, men power before exercise as in readiness position for 08 hours as and when ordered. (i) The following men power are required for standby before exercise and made to be ready for 08 hours as and when ordered :- (a) Mate - 04 Nos (b) Mazdoor minimum- 20 Nos (c) Road roller operator-02 Nos (d) Tipper driver-03 Nos (e) Water browser operator-02 Nos (f) JCB Operator-02 Nos (g) Mixer operator-01 Nos (f) Electrician-01Nos (g) Crane operator-01 No (h) Steel form work as required, The men power is required with necessary tools, safety helmet and reflective jackets, gloves and necessary clothing for operations of plant. (ii) The following tools and plants are required for standby before exercise and made to be ready for 08 hours as and when ordered :- (a) Road Roller 8 to 10 Ton- 02 No, (b) Tipper 08 to 10 Ton- 02 No, (c) Water browser-02, (d) JCB-02, (e) Hand Rammer-10 No , (f) Flood lights with 2 Mtr high pole and generator-04 No, (g) Air Compressor-01, (h) Shovels-20 Nos, (j) Pix Axes-10 Nos, (k) Plate vibrator-01 No (l) Crane hydrqulic-01 Nos (iii) The POL cost deemed to be included in the quoted rates. Note:- The item No.01 to 18 are cater for Air force exercise. The items cater above to be reached to (destination at work site within three hours as and when ordered to contractor by GE/AGE. The rates deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

M&L for preparation of old painted concrete surfaces with washing down soap water of runway, taxi track road for painting with mechanical mode of application as lines, dashes, arrows, letters and the like exceeding 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of runway road marking paint aqua based golden, yellow, or white colour as approved to give uniform finish complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Masking tape should be used on edges of paints before painting work and removed the masking tape after paint is applied where ever required and as directed.

Demolition of brick masonry quoins, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Unserviceable material retrieved under this item is contractor property and necessary amount as per schedule of credit shall be deducted from the contractor dues. (ii) Rubbish shall be removed out site MOD land. (iii) Serviceable bricks retrieved shall be reused in respective items of this schedule.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks (old size bricks) straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius, built in cement and sand mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No. 22 above but except bricks.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 on fair faces and of brick work or concrete surface finishing the surface even and smooth without extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling bricks (laid flat or on edge) or bricks tiles in floors, channels, kerbs, aprons, etc (each layer) laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Unserviceable material retrieved under this item is contractor property and necessary amount as per schedule of credit shall be deducted from the contractor dues. (ii) Rubbish shall be removed out site MOD land. (iii) Serviceable bricks retrieved shall be reused in respective items of this schedule.

M&L for brick work with sub-class 'B' bricks (old size bricks) laid flat, in floors, bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No. 26 above but except bricks.

M&L for repair to broken / damage portion of concrete slab or pavement of surface area not exceeding 10 square centimeter and depth not exceeding 15 mm by cutting damaged portion to slab / spoil edges to triangular / rectangular cross section and removing all loose and foreign materials and depositing the same to out side MOD land and cleaning the surface by compressed air to remove all dust dirt etc and washing with hydrochloric acid and filling epoxy resin mortar after application of epoxy primer as per manufacture instructions bull nosing the edges complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Material obtained from damaged portion of concrete slab shall be removed from out side MOD land.

M&L for repair to broken / damage portion of concrete slab or pavement of surface area not exceeding 1 square metre by cutting damaged portion to slab / spoil edges to triangular / rectangular cross section and removing all loose and foreign materials and depositing the same to out side MOD land and cleaning the surface by compressed air to remove all dust dirt etc and washing with hydrochloric acid and filling epoxy resin mortar after application of epoxy primer as per manufacture instructions bull nosing the edges complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Material obtained from damaged portion of concrete slab shall be removed from out side MOD land.

Cutting / scarping grass manually and removing material out side MOD land obtained from cutting and cleaning both side runway PTT near DTGM board complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Grass shall be cut and finished 10 mm to 25 mm above the existing ground level. (ii) All foreign materials (stone pieces etc) obtained during cutting of grass shall be removed from out side MOD land. (iii) Materials obtained from cutting of grass shall be removed out side of MOD land

Cutting of grass by using mechanically operated tractor with minimum 40 HP capacity and cutting 50 mm to 100 mm or above slasher where ever required including removing material obtain from cutting/cleaning (both side) up to 100m from the concrete edges complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Contractor will arrange his own mechanical slasher (set of one tractor & Jungle Jeem) with POL & MT driver. The mechanical slasher will be in operation from 09.00 AM to 05.00 PM (including lunch break of 0.5 Hour at mid day) every day in week excluding Sunday (Holiday), however department will have the right to stop the work any time even in working day due to security point of view, 01 day shall be counted as 08 hours. (ii) The log sheet cum duty register will maintained by the contractor for record of work done and running of the tractor, this register will be signed by the contractor, JE (Civil), and Engineer-in-Charge and submitted to GE during payment. (iii) The rate quoted rate by contractor is including of all T&P, POL and operator mentioned above. (iv). On requirement contractor shall arrange more than one mechanical slasher per day as per order and T&P should not be more than 5 year vintage.

Supply and running of earth moving plant / Backhoe loader with minimum loaded cap of one cubic meter of loaded bucket for excavation and levelling of soil along with one skilled driver and one semi skilled helper, including fuel / lubricants etc complete all as directed. Note:-(i) A log book shall be maintained by JE (Civ) and the same shall be signed by Engr-in-Charge and contractor daily for the purpose of calculating daily working hours which shall be actual mode of payment. (ii) Earth moving plant/backhoe loader deployed shall not be more than 5 years old from the date of manufacturing. Contractor to provide the registration documents to Engr-in-Charge on this account. (iii). Actual working hours shall be calculated based on actual running of machinery as directed by GE and excluding of transit hours.

S&F in repair visible sign board of area exceeding 0.70 Square metre and not exceeding 1.80 square metre each made from 4 mm thick engineering grade plastic (acrylic sheet) having monolithic structure to withstand temperature variations from cold environment to sweltering hot conditions and to withstand high velocity winds framed and braced with 40 mm dia PVC pipe best quality to with stand high ground level with best quality structure including excavating in post holes of size 30cmx30cmx45cm and embedded in PCC1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and making plinth around frame of width 600mm and length as required, including providing / applying weather resistance coating, providing and pasting of new numerals / alpahbets with retro reflective tape cutting it as computer plotter etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning drain any shape and any size of runway and removing sludge, soil, mud, grass and vegetation roots from drain and removing of materials obtained from cleaning i.e. sludge, mud, soil etc to out side of MOD land complete all as specified and directed. Note:- To determine the depth of sludge levels initially and after cleaning of drain shall be taken and recorded in MB duly signed by, Garrison Engineer, Engineer - in Charge and contractor.

M&L for cutting of grass, shurbs, vegetation, bush, weed by brush cutter operated slasher where ever required including cleaning the both sides edges of runway / PTT removing of materials obtained from cutting to out side of MOD land complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The contractor shall arrange three numbers of brush cutter machine along with three operator and three helper (one operator and one helper for each machine) including POl etc from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs (including half an hour lunch break). (ii) The output of brush cutter machine shall be 1000 square metre per day per machine including cleaning/removing of materials obtained from cutting to out side of MOD land. (iii) Site / area of grass cutting shall be handed over as and when on requirement basis. Contractor shall start the work immediately whenever site is handed over to him. (iv) A log book shall be maintained by JE(Civil) and the same shall be signed by Engineer-in-Charge & contractor daily for the purpose of calculating daily working hours which shall be actual mode of payment.

M&L for 100mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-2, (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) laid in alternate bays as floor, finished concrete surface with spike rolling or making impression of expanded metal whilst the concrete is green including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) (PQC graded) as in floor and paving exceeding 150mm thickness below or above ground floor with concrete breaker / manually as required at site and removing rubbish out site MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete work in pavement/hard standing of flexural strength 40 Kg per square centimeter in field using minimum 400 Kg of cement per cubic meter and thickness of concrete 250mm or less laid in bays including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Finishing the surface of concrete in pavement / hard standing by belting and brooming complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2, (40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in foundation filling or mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.
