M&L preparing existing top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. Sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen (VG-30) at 5 kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated by hot pressure mechanism, complete all as specified.

M&L Premix bituminous macadam (Design Mix), laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated) thickness 75 mm or less by binder content of paving bitumen (VG-30) of 4% by weight of total mix laid with self propelling mechanical paver and rolling with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to the required camber and gradient to uniform smooth surface, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Preparing existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly priming/tack coat of paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm and laying,rolling and cosolidating bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness (Design Mix) using minimum 5.50% binder content of paving bitumen (VG-30) by weight of total mix laid with self propelling mechanical paver and rolling with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to the required camber and gradient per 10 Sqm rolling consolidating to achive uniform smooth surface, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Providing hot applied thermoplastic compound road marking paint 2.50mm thick (excluding thickness of glass beads) and providing reflective glass beads @ 250 gm per square metre as per IRC-135,confirming to MOSRT&H, complete all as specified and as directed .

S&F in repairs dual directional reflective cat eye of impact resistance ABS plastic stud of size 100mm x100mm x 25 mm having ultra violet resistant colour (white/red/yellow) with 31 mini retro reflective glass beads of colour (white/red/yellow) to a side provided with steel zinc plated nails of dia 12 mm and length 120 mm for fixing on road by hammering etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engi-in-Charge.

M&L Repair to pot holes in road surface not exceeding 1 Sqm in area & depth 30 mm (average) of each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc cutting around edges at least 30mm in depth, making good by applying a tack coat of bituminous primer of paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 5kg/ 10sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8kg, blinded with 0.06 cum of stone chipping, 6.3 mm size as specified for bituminous carpet 30 mm thick (quantities of stone chippings & bitumen to be proportionally increased for 35 mm thick) well rammed, complete all as specified.
