REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT OF FILTER MEDIA AND CHEMICALS FOR VARIOUS INSTALLATION AT WTP AT VARIOUS PUMP HOUSE UNDER GE JORHAT

NOTES :(i)The bidders/contractors are advised to read tender document & all corrigendum/ amendments and General conditions of contracts before entry/quoting the rates.

Dismantling the old unserviceable items from the existing feed type pressure pressure plant of 10000 GPH capacity incl opening the man hole cover taking out all filter media i.e. sand, gravels, pebbles, stainer, MNO2, Resin, valves, pipe fittings with complete connection of pipes & valves and repairing the same including re-filling of exsiting filter media/chemicals and new filling of filter media/chemicals after washing with suitable type chemicals after washing of media as rquired and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (a) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of :- (i) keeping leak proof of whole plants, all Sluice/ diaphragm / flanged valves, replacement of rubber hose, clamps, etc. (ii) Filling of all filter media to plants like gravels, pebbles, sand, catalyst MNO2, resin, strainer etc. (iii) Disconnection or interconnection pipes of any sizes, valves, gauges, and all accessories etc., including reassembling the whole plant by welding., jointing etc. (iv) Testing of water for Iron, PH value, Hardness, Residual chlorine etc. (b) New items like pressure guage, pipes/flanges of any type & any size, valves of any type, diaphragm, painting, water testing, filter media, nut, bolt , washers shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule. (c) Contractor is advised to visit the site prior to quoting their offer. No claim shall be admissible at a later stage.

Supply PP/LDPE, 3/8” BSP thread strainer suitable for pressure filter

Supply only filtration media sand ,effective size 0.35 mm to 0.50 mm, hard and resistant, quartz or quartzite, free from clay, fine particles, soft grains and dirt of every description, conforming to IS 8419, Part-I, inside existing rapid gravity filter & pressure filter

Supply only 3 to 6 mm gravels suitable for rapid gravity filter & pressure filter

Supply only 6 to 12 mm gravels suitable for rapid gravity filter & pressure filter

Supply only 12 to 20 mm gravels suitable for rapid gravity filter & pressure filter

Supply only 20 to 40 mm gravels suitable for rapid gravity filter & pressure filter

Supply only Manganese dioxide(MnO2) of approximate sizes 20 mm to 25 mm containing at least 65% of manganese, suitable for use in filtration plant complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Samples of raw material (MnO2) should be got tested in Govt approved laboratory before using in the oxidation chamber for determining the MNO2 purity, which shall not be less than 65% ((MNO2 contents minimum 65% purity), testing charge for the same is deemed to be included in the cost quoted by the contractor.

Materials and Labour for one coat of food grade black bituminious paint suitable for portable drinking water after necessary preparation of internal surfaces of plants consisting of one pressure filter of capacity 10000 LPH including necessary connected pipe lines and valves complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for spray painting of two coat of synthetic enamel paint (smoke grey/blue shade) after preparation of external surfaces of plant consisting of one pressure filte of capacity 10000 LPH including necessary connected pipe lines and valves complete including writing of "Name of equipment" complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling, repairing/replacement, re-fixing and commissioning, testing of the Air scour Rotary twin-lobe blower/compressor 12 KG/Sqcm from the foundation and servicing/ replacement of defective spears parts at workshop as approved by GE/Engineer-in-charge and including cleaning the air filter, lubricating the mechanical parts like lobes, gears, bearings , replacing damage spare parts for Compressor kit, fly wheel, Air Pressure Gauge, Gland Packing Seal, Coupling etc(if required like) and also including filling the compressor lubricant oil ( Servo system 320 of IOC and ENCLO-320 of HPCL)-03 ltrs and replacement of a air cleaner filter of air blower and any other part required for fully function of plant and refixing at the same place including connecting all electrical connections and V- belt and testing complete all as specified and directed by GE. Note:- The quoted rate shall be deem to be included all spare parts, lubricant oil, servicing charge, transportation charge and . Contractor is advised to visit the site prior to submission of bid. No claim shall be admissible at a later stage.

Supply and fix in repairs suction sweeper made up of stainless steel metal of 10 X 37 inch and 0.5 mm thickness fitted with hard brush along length dimension with necessary fittings like spring, flexible wiper of minimum 10mm thickness along with provision for fixing flexible hose, rotating wheel etc., all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply only Calcium Hypo chlorite calcium based high strength granular chlorine having 65%-70% chlorine content packed in 45Kgs PVC sealed container, superior quality suitable for treatment of drinking water and swimming pool (Much more stable than chlorine gas, bleaching power and sodium hypochlorite) all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC)inorganic soluble polymer raw water flocculants powder in 25 Kg bags conforming to the following specifications: -(a) Bulk Density/specific Gravity at 20 Degree Celcius: 0.75 + 0.10 (b) PH Value of aqueous solution (w/v): 3.5 – 5.0 (1%)(c) Chloride content (w/w): 31.0% + 2.0%(d) Sulphate content: 10 % (Max)(e) Basicity: 40.0 + 5.0(f) Mercury & Lead: Not Desirableall as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repairs diving tank Deep Leaf Net Skimmer net of size 16" X 19"

Supply and fix in repairs diving tank brush, Aluminium Handle 18 inches curved brush with 8 ft / 16 ft long adjustable telescopic pole all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Material and labour for 110 mm outer diameter of 3- layer PP-R Polypropylene random copolymer) concealed pipes, SDR 7.4 (PN16) UV stabilized and antimicrobial fusion welded having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply all PP-R plain & brass threaded polypropylene random fittings laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Making connection of 110 mm outer dia of PP-R distribution branch with PP-R main of following sizes by providing and fixing tee including cutting and making fusion joint etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Note: Schedule of credit (SCHEDULE OF CREDIT) amount of Rs ₹ ___________ mentioned on Page No ____ shall be deducted from the total quoted amount of BOQ.
