M&L for Erection, testing, commissioning for modernization of existing Johnson / Kone make 13 passenger lift ,884 Kgs @1 mtr/sec speed (G+6 floor) and handing over in satisfactory working condition with the same capacity, speed and operation by using the existing lift shaft, main motor, gear box, car frame, counterweights, governor, brake, guide rails including replacement of the following accessories:-
(a) CONTROLLER (LCB) INTEGRATED TYPE S&F Microprocessor based LSVF closed loop controller with VVVF drive unit for existing duty load, speed stops and simplex full collective operation with incorporation of features like, ARD, energy efficiency ,non fire lifts, enclosure meeting with the standards of EMC (Electro magnetic compatibility),Automatic by-pass,overload device, automatic bell/buzzer, anti nuisance.New reference system in hoist ways suitable for the new LSVF controller including magnets ,cams and limit switches, controls with mounting accessories and protection complete all as specified and as directed Make:(i) Controller-MABARA/INLV/ADCO/ESCON/IES/OEM recommended (ii) Main Drive-FUJI/TOSHIBA/DELTA/ ESCON/IES (iii) Microprocessor-Mabara/ADCO/ESCON/IES/ OEM recommended (iv) Sensor- TI Jones/Weco/ ESCON/IES
(b) LIFT CAR CABIN (i)Car roof, provided with a car top rail / balustrade and suitable warning notice for fall hazard. (ii) Car cabin with stainless steel enclosures and false ceiling match with existing size, capacity with MSPC Scratch Resistant finish flooring with PVC texture. Design as approved by Engr-in- Charge. (iii) Noiseless pressure fan or blower provided in lift cabin with supply grill matching with the interior of the cabin. (iv) Recess mounted LED lighting and in addition to normal lighting and emergency light to illuminate the car for minimum 30 minutes in case of power failure. (v) Hand rails fabricated with polished stainless steel at height & locations suitable for physically challenged passengers. (vi) SS mirror finish scratch resistant cabin enclosure at least one third of the size at middle portion on rear panel throughout the height of the cabin. (vii)Overload panel along with audio / visual direction. (viii) Door hold button, which extends normal door open period by up to 30 seconds. The extended time can be cancelled by actuation of door close button. Make :- Genesis/Wittur/Techno Doors/Mass Punching/ ESCON/IES/ OEM Recommended
(c ) CAR OPERATING PANEL Flush type Stainless Steel “Car Operating Panel” with the following devices. (i) Bank of call buttons corresponding to landings served. Tactile braille LED illuminated buttons and tonal contrast to the COP & car panels. (ii) Alarm button, provided to indicate the alarm button provision. (iii) Fan/blower switch. (iv)Door open and close button. (v) The main floor /exit floor push button, protruded 5mm beyond the other floor buttons. (vi) “Up” & “Down” direction indicators indicating travel direction. (vii) Key operated switch for “Attendant” and “Automatic” operation. (viii) Overload panel along with audio/visual indication. (ix) 7 Segment type LED based digital car position indicator with LED/ illumination indicating the landing at which the car is stopped or passing. (x) S& F Hall buttons combined with digital position indicator with SS hairline finish face plate suitable for simplex full collective operation at lobby floor of all landings (G+6floor) complete all as specified and as directed Make:- Purvi/Mabara/IES/OEM recommended
(d) LANDING DOORS The landing doors made of stainless steel complete with headers, sills, frames etc. as required and entrances for lifts, protected by automatic power operated, centre opening with car (MSPC), single kin construction all as per IS. Make:- Genesis/Wittur/Techno Doors/Mass Punching/ESCON/IES/ OEM Recommended (e) CAR DOORS (i) Positive acting door drive powered by an A.C. motor rigidly connected to the door and controlled by a VVVF unit and simultaneously open the car and landing doors and maintain the doors fully open or closed at each landing (G+6 floor) with stainless steel doors, suitable for Attendant /Automatic operation and smooth opening of door without jerk and closing of door without any banging noise, mounted on steel members forming part of the car sliding.
(ii) A multiple beam full height infrared electronic door detector to regulate the closing motion of the doors for entry of the passengers. iii) Each landing door (PAX PRIMA), to be provided with an interlock, to prevent movement of the car away from the landing until the doors are locked in the closed position with an electric contact for the door to prevent car movement away from the landing unless the door is in fully closed position. (iv) The car and the landing doors are to be provided with two point suspension sheave type hangers complete with tracks, Sheaves and rollers of steel with moulded nylon collar and shielded ball bearings and the tracks of suitable steel section with smooth surface. Make:- Genesis/Wittur/Techno Doors/Mass Punching/ ESCON/IES/ OEM Recommended.
(f) DRIVING SHEAVES, GOVRNOR ROPES, VOICE SYNTHESIZER AND SUSPENSION ROPES: (i) Self lubricated, round standard steel wire ropes manufactured from high grade steel and special flexible material matching with the existing number and size of the hoist way ropes with the existing driving sheaves 730 dia 4 groove 10/13mm dia rope having the combined breaking strength calculated with factor of safety, including necessary servicing of the driving sheaves and replacement of worn out parts if any as per site requirement. Make of steel wire rope- Usha Martin/ South India Rope (ii) The end of the lift ropes, properly secured to the car and counter weight hitch plates as the case may be with adjustable rope shackles having individual tapers babbit sockets, and with a suitable spring, seat washer, shackle nut & lock & shackle nut split pin or any other suitable arrangement. (iii) Digital type capable of site programming, giving a choice of background music (with option at site to choose or reject) and capable of providing following messages in English language. (iv) Arrival at the floor & its designation.
(g) HOISTWAY HARNESS AND TRAVELLING CABLES: (i) New hoistway harness and travelling cables suitably suspended to relieve strains in individual conductors suitable for new LSVF closed loop controller and fixtures, run from a junction box on the top of the car to a junction box located in the shaft bear mid point of travel and from these junction boxes conductors run to the various locations. (ii) Travelling cables shall be provided for signals, controls, lights, fans, alarm bell, emergency circuit and music etc. and 10 percent of the total capacity. (h) PIT SWITCHES: i)Two pit stop switches, with mushroom red head (it shall be locked off when pushed and reset manually) one at bottom landing level in the shaft & the other on the pit (First stop switch shall be accessible from the lower landing on opening of the landing door and the second switch from the pit floor), which, when in the STOP position, shall prevent any movement of the lift car including movement during inspection operation, until both the switches are set in the run POSITION. iii)Terminal limit switches, to slow down and stop the car automatically at the terminal landings, and final limit switches, to automatically cut off power should the car travel beyond the terminal landings. iv)Fireman switch at lobby floor. Make- Purvi/Mabara/OEM recommended (j) SWITCHES: (i) Limit switches and reed switches complete.
Note For Item No-1 to 1.08 a) The contractor shall visit the site to assess the exact scope of work prior to quotiong the tender b)The rate quoted shall be inclusive of the following:- (i) Dismantling of the items to be replaced, servicing and refixing including alignment, replacement of worn out parts, greasing and lubrication of the existing items to be used, balancing of counter weights etc. (ii) Additional safety aspects for machine room (First Aid Box, CO2 / foam based fire cylinders, Danger plates, rubber mats in front of each controller, Electric shock treatment charts and any other safety item that may be required by the local authority) and in the lift car including lift identification plates and DO's AND DONT's sheets with letters in English language as directed. (iii) Painting of all lift metal work with one shop coat of rust inhibiting paint in the factory and painted with finishing coats on site. (iv) Civil works involving fixing landing operating panel, landing fascia, guide rails, sills, limit switches, embedding in wall etc. complete. (v) The charges for obtaining Lift fitness certificate from the Lift Inspector of the karnataka State. (vi) Any civil structural damage or changes if any to walls/floors/ceilings/doors that the contractor may cause during work process will have to be rectified to its original form at his own cost, risk and responsibility. (vii) The contractor has to submit the details of registration with Karnataka lift inspecting authority before commencement of work. (viii) PCC and waterproof treatment will be done in all lift well / basement complete all as specified and directed. (ix) Replacement of break coil motor 02 Nos of each lift as per existing make/modal all as specified and directed. (x) The lifts shall be installed by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) only. (xi) OEM Make: OTIS/Kone/Schindler/Escon/Mitsubishi/Johnson (xii) The contractor shall submit the drawings, details and technical specification of all lifts from OEM make i.e OTIS / Kone / Schindler / Escon / Mitsubishi / Johnson /IES for approval before execution.
