M & L for MS Special fitting of IS 1239(Part-I & II) & IS-3589(IS as applicable) and wall thickness not less than 5mm any type spigot and socket ends or flanged pipe as required at site (such as bend, taper, Tee, flange, socket etc) Socket end/ flanged as ordered of any size from 80mm to 450mm as required at site complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) The weight of the fittings shall be measured and paid as given in relevant IS or actually provided whichever is less. (ii) All fittings shall bear relevant IS stamping marking and most adhere to the IS. (iii) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ. (iv) Cost of the joints and jointing materials shall be deemed to be included in the relevant items of DI pipes here-in-before.

Excavation in trenches ,not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil for taking out / laying of pipes and making bottom surfaces of excavation leveled complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches with excavated soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus soil / spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metres away and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down 80/50/40 mm bore GI water tubing and connections of pipe and fittings including segregating of serviceable pipes and keeping in safe custody for reuse and removing unserviceable pipes and fittings from site complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rate of Excavation, returning filling and removing of soil (Earth work) shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

M&L Cutting chases on brick wall/ stone masonry of building for concealed water tubing and making good , with CM 1:3, cutting exc 10cm but not exc 20cm girth complete all as specified and directed.

Drilling and tapping from CI/DI water mains (in position) of any size for branch connection of the pipe of size 15mm dia complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The rate includes for turning water off and on and draining and earth work as required. (ii) Necessary size of Ferrules are measured and paid separately.

MM & L for replacement of straight plain brass ferrules for 15mm bore dia pipe (or connecting screw) screwed both ends complete all as specified and directed.

Repairs/ addition/ alteration to existing GI pipeline fittings for branch connection/ replacement of rusted fitting/ making alteration including necessary earth work and making good to disturbed surface complete all as specified and directed. Note: a) GI Fittings will be paid and measured separately under respective item of BOQ. b) Cost for excavation/ returning filling/ making good to disturbed surface will be deemed to be included in above quoted rates. (c) Repairing work of one place whether use one or more fittings is assuming in one Job. (d) The contractor have to receive complain from complaint cell through complain slip after attending and completing the work user sign must be taken on complaint slip and the slip has to be deposited at the subdivision during preparation of Bill. (e) All complaint should be completed at the same day. It the contractor unable to complete in the same day a penalty @ Rs 500.00will be recovered from contractor bill.

Note : (i) The rate of MS/DI fittings like tail pieces, socket, bend etc are measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ. (ii) if any earth work required then the rates are deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Note :(i) Rate for Cement Concrete/ Patch mat are measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ. (ii) Concrete mixture is to be used in concrete road and Patch mat is to be used in bituminous road.

M&L for Premix Ready Mix Road Repair Patching Compound of 25 Kg per bag for filling of Road cutting and making good after laying of pipe with removed soil/dust etc and finally sealed with patchmat premixed compound of thickness not less than existing thickness of road and to match the top surface of road including compacting, ramming, hand rolling as required complete all as specified and directed. Note: The qty of each bag of 25 Kg shall be measured as a one unit for payment.

Repairs to leakage run lead joint in position of size 450/500 mm CI/DI pipes by burning out existing joints, recovering lead, cleaning internal surfaces of socket and providing new joints with using recovered lead and additional new lead, making joint leak proof complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Excavation of Earth work shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ. (ii) The rate of extra lead materials shall be included the quoted rates.

Note: The sample has to be collected from every four points in every quarterly period.

Providing services for excavation by using JCB for clearing wet area of damaged pipeline of various size, 1 meter wide and 1mtr in depth to finding out leakage spot, making area free from vegetation/ tree branches and refilling the excavated material after completion of necessary repair of leaked pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Providing services for welding/ jointing of GI/MS pipe of any size for any alteration or arrest leakage by using electric arc welding including all necessary patch material including necessary excavation and refilling of spoil complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Air Release valve ISI marked double orifice tamper proof, type DK with SS float of size 80mm including all fixing arrangement complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling the drain , footpath any type and any width during repairing of damaged GI/CI/DI pipe line of size 15mm to 300mm, relaying the same after repairing the pipe line and making good the surface as per existing by using bricks, stone, paved bricks complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The rate of bricks, stone, paved bricks, cement , sand, stone aggregates are include the quoted rates. (ii) If the contractor not repairing the patches then the total repaired cost including penalty @ 25% of repairing cost is calculated and the amount should recover from the contractor's Bill.

M& L for demolition of old damaged valve pit of any size separate the metal items like valve pit cover and separation the serviceable materials from the unserviceable. If serviceable material found from site then stacking the materials within 100mtr from site and disposal the unserviceable materials , debris and rubbish to a distance n exc 100mtr complete all as specified and directed. Note: Old unserviceable/rusted valve pit cover taken under Schedule of credit with ref to item No 100 of this BOQ

M&L for of brick work with sub class 'B' Bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6mtr mean radius built in CM 1:4 for repairing of Valve pit in various place complete all as specified and directed.

M& L in PCC type B1 of 1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregates) as in benching copings etc including necessary form work for Valve pit copping or repairing concrete road surface complete all as specified and directed.

M& L in PCC type C2 1:3:6 (40mm graded aggregates) as in foundation filling and mass concrete of Valve pit of any size complete all as specified and directed.
