M&L for repairs to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water , scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal (including supply of road metal) rolling and well ramming surface of road complete all as specified and as directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled exc 50mm deep but n exc 100 mm depth in macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area n exc 400 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with compressed air/ gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly priming tack coat with Bitumen Primer using paving bitumen of VG-10 @ 10 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor/ gunny bags to remove all loose dirt complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminious primer (using paving bitumen) of grade VG-10 at 5 kg per 10 Sqm over surface complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L 30 mm thick consolidated thickness Bituminous Premixed semi dense ashphaltic concrete using combined graded aggregate ie crushed stone coarse aggregate, fine aggregate (sand) and fille (inherent filer/OPC 43 grade) of physical properties as specified and as per table given (refer SSR Part-I 2009), preheated mixed with 5.5% binder (VG-30) content by weight of total mix, laid and spread means of self propelling mechanical spreader/paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with VIBRATORY ROLLER COMPACTOR 8-12 tonn complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) The job design formula shall be got down from The mix design tests shall be carried out only in SEMT wing/Govt approved lab/National test House/Engineering College as approved by the GE before commencement of work. (b) As a result of job mix formula, if quantity of binder content works out to be more than 5.5% than no extra payment shall be made to the contractor and in case its quantity works out be less than 5.5% than minimum binder content of 5.5% givne herein above shall be provided. (c) The premix semi-dense asphltic concrete shall be procured form computerized hot mix plant as approved by GE. (d) Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing stone and fine aggregate and binder (bitumen). Semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be laid in single layer with self propelled paver machine. The vintage of sensor paver shall not be more than 05 years. (e) Thickness of Semi dense Asphaltic concrete and quantities of materials as mentioned in Particular specicifications/SSR are the minimum. The quoted rate shall also be ddemed to include for provision of more materials in comparison to those mentioned/specified i the item, if required to acheive the required level, gradient, camber and shape all as directed by the GE.

M&L 75 mm thick or less consolidated thickness Premixed Bituminous macadam of grade VG-30 penetration and using 12 to 25 mm graded crushed preheated stone aggregate, laid with the help of mechanical paver and rolled compacted to required gradient and camber with VIBRATORY ROLLER COMPACTOR of 8-12 tonne using 4% binders by weight to mix to make good depression/ pot holes complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) The job design formula shall be got down from The mix design tests shall be carried out only in SEMT wing/Govt approved lab/National test House/Engineering College as approved by the GE before commencement of work. (b) As a result of job mix formula, if quantity of binder content works out to be more than 4% than no extra payment shall be made to the contractor and in case its quantity works out be less than 4% than minimum binder content of 4% givne herein above shall be provided. (c) The Job design shall be got down from approved lab and shall be approved by GE before commencement of work.

M&L for applying 2 mm thick road marking paint with reflective thermoplastic white road marking paint confirming to BS-3262(1986) either continous or brocken lines over existing or new painting surface of cement or bituminous surface laid down through road marking machine using Thermo plastic material by incorporating the white glass powder for reflectivity in white or golden yellow colour by using applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater including cleaning of road surface of all dirt, seals, oil grease and foreign materials complete all as specified and directed

M&L in repair high density grade reflectors/ delinator of 80mm O/D heavy duty mild steel pipe and 1050 high with head cap, huydraulic machine pressed by hot processsing over weld mesh, two coat of black paint by hit processing over a coat of red oxide primer and reflective strips HIP grade 07 Nos Red colour 04 Nos (12.50 mm x 250mm) white colour 01 No (75mm x 250 mm) Yellow colour 02 Nos (75 mm x250 mm) as per most and IRC specification including outer jali with and including necessary excavation, embedding in post in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 20 mm graded aggregate, PCC block size should be 30cm x 30cmx 45 cm complete all as specified and as directed .
