Permanent restoration of Handwara Zachaldara Road

Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50mm and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and lead upto 1 km (by mechanical means).

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge

Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of VG-10 grade incl. heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler/ Emulsion on new surface , cleaning & preparing the existing road surface to remove all dirt, dust, mud etc. & finally brooming the surface as per required specification complete job

Providing and laying of 50 mm thick BM with bitumen of VG-10 grade @3.5% and filler (lime) 34% by weight of total mix on prepared surfaces with specified grade stone aggregate. Hot mixing of bitumen with filler and stone aggregate. In hot mix plant transporting the mixed material with paver finisher and rolling with road roller as per IRC/ MOST/MORTH specification to achieve the desired density and compaction including cost and carriage involved from source to site of work completed including cost and carriage of bitumen complete (Profiling of road level/Patches/Stretches)

Providing and laying of 25 mm thick semi dense bitumenous concrete using stone aggregates of quality size and grading as specified in MORTH with straight run bitumen of grade 80/100 @5% by weight of total mix (@2.88kg/sqm) includng hot mixing transporting mixed material and laying with paver finishers to the required level and grade rolling with road roller of 8 to 10 ton capacity to acieve the required compaction and density including cost and carriage of all materials involved complete.

Providing and laying seal coat of premixed fine aggregate (passing 2.36mm and retained on 180 micron sieve) with bitumen using 128 kg of bitumen of grade VG-10 bitumen per cum of fine aggregate and 0.60 cum of fine aggregate per 100 sqm of road surface including rolling and finishing with road all complete.

Providing and laying c c pavement of mix M20 with ready mixed concrete from batching plant . The ready mixed concrete shall be laid and finished with screed board vibrator vaccum dewatering process and finally finished by floating brooming with wire brush complete job as per site incharge
