M & L for scarifying or picking gravelled,macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc400 sqm and deep of exc 50 mm and n exc 100 mm for removing n exc 50 metres and stacking complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Liquid seal coat, applying evenly binder ( VG-10) @ 9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinding with 6.3mm size stone chippings @ 0.09 cum per l0 sqm and rolled to a uniform smooth surface using 8-12 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L premix bituminous,macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen (VG-30) as binder content complete all as specified and as directed.(Note:-(a) Preparation of surface and priming/tack coat shall be measured and paid separately. (b) Seal coat or wearing coat shall be measured and paid separately. (c) The unit rates are worked out on the basis of binder content of 4% by weight of total mix. Any addition or deduction in binder content used,financial effect shall be adjusted proportionately as per instruction given in SSR Part-II.Any addition or deduction shall be determined through BOO by GE).

M & L for soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber of 200mm spread thickness complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed carpet,4cm consolidated thickness,with 0.54 cu.m. of stone chippings mixed with 29.20 kg of binder (using paving bitumen VG-30),laid and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in surface channels and drain complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete in foundations,filling and mass concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 (nominal mix) type C2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate)as in retaining walls complete all as specified and as directed . (Note:- Ref Drg No. SZ/TD/332/2015 sheet 1/1 dt 10 Feb 2015.Bidders are requested to go through the said drg available in office of the HQ136 WE/office of the GE Gangtok.Bidder must take prior appointment at working hours).

M & L for providing, cement concrete Type B1 1:2:4 (20 mm graded aggregate) in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands,plinth courses, lacing courses, parapets,copings,bed plates including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for RCC 1:2:4 (nominal mix) type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in slabs supported on walls complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L RCC M25 (design mix) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in beams, cantilevers,bressummers, lintels over 1.5m span complete all as specified and as directed.(Note:-Design mix shall be carried out from Govt Engg Collage or Command Test Lab and report should be submitted before GE).

S&F 75mm bore PVC pipe (SWR) single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, as in weep holes complete all as specified and directed.

S&F of geosynthetic material 75mm dia as in weep holes cover as directed.

Labour only hand packing (any thickness) at back of walls over arches etc. and raising (or lowering) to the required level complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of Reinforced Cement Concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M & L 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of Granite,trap or Basalt of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread,rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber using 8 to 12 tonne power mechanical roller complete all as specified and directed.

M & L Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller(including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and making 2.5mm thick centre lines,stop lines ,dashes,arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars,etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

Rendering 10mm thick cement mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces on external wall finished even and smooth (without using extra cement) including Neeru finish to plastering as specifiedcomplete all as specified and directed.

Rough excavation not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out for soft/loose soil for foundation of retaining wall complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5 m deep and getting out soft/disintegrated for foundation or retaining wall complete all as specified and directed.

M & L Formwork to faces of wall, retaining wall etc.; vertical or to batter for rough finished surface of concrete (Flat) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L Formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work;not exceeding 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) for rough finished surface of concrete (Flat) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L using applying evenly a priming/tack coat @ 5kg per 10sqm using paving bitumen VG-10 complete all as specified as directed.

Removing excavated material (soil) exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed

Returning filling in, including, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat @ 10kg per 10sqm on WBM surfaces using paving bitumen VG-10 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L mild steel TMT Bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per No. 30 above but 8 mm dia as in stirrups complete all as specified and directed.
