Repair and Maintenance of Maintenance and Service Seals The job covers comprehensive repair and reconditioning of both maintenance and service seals made of SS410 material to restore their sealing efficiency and structural performance. Scope of Work: Dismantling of maintenance and service seals from the equipment with proper safety and alignment precautions. • Transportation of dismantled seals to the mechanical workshop for inspection and repair. • For the maintenance seal (material: SS410): • Detailed measurement and dimensional verification of all components. • Filling and rebuilding of eroded or worn surfaces using welding or appropriate metal deposition techniques. • Grinding, machining, and surface finishing to achieve required design tolerances. • Blue matching and lapping of sealing faces to ensure even contact with the sealing ring. • For the service seal (material: SS410): • Repair and refurbishment work similar to the maintenance seal process. • Replacement and fitting of brass bush and spring washer. • Replacement of outer O-ring and repair of movable parts as required. • Replacement of aluminium washer if found damaged during inspection. • Supply and fitting of stainless steel bolts and nuts (size 60x40 mm, quantity 3 per set) and studs for forcing screw (6 pieces). • Final inspection, dimensional verification, assembly check, and quality assurance testing before reinstallation and commissioning at site.
