Comprehensive repair / service / maintenance of electrically operated over head travelling (EOT)/ HOT Cranes of following capacities comprising of hoist motor, long travel motor, cross travel motor, micro hoist, gear boxes, electrical control panel and other connected accessories installed at various works shops/ centres at Naval Dockyard Mumbai to keep the cranes operational round the clock etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No. 1(a) to 1(h) :- The scope of works cover the following :- (i) The repair/servicing / maintenance works for the EOT cranes including Hoist hook universal type shall be carried out by the trained / skilled technicians and shall conform to the standard engineering practice / code and as per the standard code / norms of Government and rate quoted is inclusive of minor repairs. (ii) The cranes shall be inspected and serviced at the rate of minimum of one service per month. (iii) Attending to any break down within 24 hours and restoring the service. (vi) Insurance coverage for all technicians, workers involved in the works. (vii) Record / maintain register of all maintenance carried out all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (viii) Adherence to safety rules and regulations in respect of EOT cranes. (ix) Adherence to security rules and regulations of the Naval Dockyard, Mumbai (x) A list of makes / brands of spares / materials to be incorporated in the works shall be got approved immediately after getting the work order. (xi) All tools, instruments and plants required for carrying out the above works shall be provided by the contractor.

Supply and filling hydraulic Gear oil 90W140 suitable for EOT cranes. Bharat Petroleum/Castrol/Servo or equivalent

Supply of low viscosity transformer oil to make up /top up oil deficiency in transformer all as specified and as directed. Make- Power Oil ( sealed container) or equivalent as approved by GE.

Supply and Fix 12mm thick structure 6/19 inner fibre strands. Make :- Usha Martin

Material & labour for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of EOT cranes consisting of girders and end carriages, trolleys and hoist with motors, gear box or wheels, electric panel boards and resistance box, rope pulley, CT rails, platform, sheave block with hook etc and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint for 0.5 to 5 Ton capacity EOT cranes complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 6 above but 10 Ton

Material and labour for preparation of old painted stell surfaces of EOT cranes consisting of girders and end carriages, trolleys and hoist with motors, gear box or wheels, electirc panel boards and resistance box, rope pulley, CT rails, plarform, sheave block with hook etc and applying one cost of synthetic enamal paint for 2 Ton to 5 Ton capacity EOT cranes complete all as specified and as directed

All as per item No 8 above but 10 Ton to 20 Ton

All as per item No 8 above but 30 Ton to 60 Ton

Material & labour for dismanteling, removing, taking down the gear box assembly of main hoist of cranes of capacity upto 5 tons and overhauling the gear box incl replacement of worm gear wheel unit complete with new, matching with existing, replacement of defective bearings, oil seal, gear couplings etc and reassembling the gear box, incl fixing back to the system alignment with complete testing and commissioning of EOT crane all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Fix in repair crane control cable 19 core FLP PVC insulated tinned copper Braided PVC sheathed flexible cable 1100 V 1.5 Sqmm size.

Supply, laying, connecting and testing flexible PVC insulated multistranded 1100V grade copper conductor unarmoured cable of size 4 core 6 Sqmm as per IS 7098 (Part-I) 1988 including removing of old unserviceable cable etc., complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Havells/Finolex/Polycab

Supply & fix in repair MS powder coated 2.0mm thickness pendant push button panel with push button complete suitable for Crane of size 45cm x 15cm x 8cm all as per existing at site all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs crane side track rollers by dismantling old existing by proper supports and testing of rolling for long travel all as per existing at site and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs Crane LT bearing as per existing by removing old unserviceable and testing all as specified and as directed.

Taking down old unserviceable VFD drive power module from crane control panels and supply and fix new VFD drive power module suitable for existing capacity of motor load for cranes all as specified and as directed. Make : yaskawa/ Siemens or equivalent as approved by GE.

Material & labour for taking down the following capacity of defective slip ring/squirrel cage 5 hp to 7.5 Hp induction motor of 3 phase 415 volts and rewinding with same gauge super enameled copper winding wire, re-insulating, varnishing, servicing, reassembling and re-installing to its original position including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed. Note:(i) The unit rate quoted is deemed to include for electrical disconnecting, dismantling of motor,transportation to workshop, repairing & re-installation in position.

Carry out load and deflection test at 100 % full load with necessary instruments on hoisting, LT/CT for checking the performance of the cranes as directed by the Engineer In Charge for following capacity EOT crane Notes :- (i) Load/deflection test is to be carried out by the contractor's expert rep in the relevant field in presence of the department rep and recording the test and issue necessary certificate (ii) The load required for the testing and necessary transportation, will be arranged by the contractor at the location of testing
