Amount

Excavation in earthwork in hilly area in all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etcetera and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of useful materials for construction at suitable sites and construction of dumping sites to be arranged by the contractor for safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in all leads and lifts to the dumping site, site in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or not for 4777.04 (Four thousand seven hundred seventy seven point zero four) Cubic Meter in all cases at the rate of Rupees 170/- only (Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro rata basis in all circumstances.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structures such as Retaining walls, Breast Walls, Culverts, Drains & Parapets etc. in all type of classification of soil, comprising of ordinary soils, ordinary rock, hard rock, chiselling/wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawing & MORD technical specifications clause 305.1, 1104 & 1606.1 and as per direction of the Engineere-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom & backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty millimeters) compacted thickness including shortingand strutting and pumping or bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto all depths and any quantom of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution of work shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete 1:4:8 (one cement : four sand : eight graded stone aggregate crushed 25mm (twenty five milimetre) nominal size in open foundations complete as per drawing and MORD Technical Specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material through all modes of transportation within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete grade M-10 (Ten) 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 sand : 6 crushed stone aggregate 25mm (Twenty five milimetre nominal size) hand mixing as per drawing and Technical specifications of rural roads clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 including curing and form work and carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete 1:6:12 (one cement : six sand : twelve graded stone aggregate crushed 40mm (forty milimetre) nominal size for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203 and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall Granular material complete as per drawings and MORD Technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing weapholes in brick masonry/stone masonry /plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm (One hundred milimetre) dia PVC pipe extending through the full with of the structures with slope of 1 (v) : 20 (H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4mm dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS: 4826 in 100mmx100mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg. each as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1301 including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets clause 1108:- 900mm dia. including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Filling in foundation trenches as per drawing and technical specification cluase 305.3.9 Earth filling (For marshy soil) including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber (Earth work for the cutting involved for sub-grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HP.PWD specifications. including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etc. with earth or quarry soil etc. and re-rolling the sub-grade completed as per HP.PWD specifications including entire carriage of materials in all leads and lifts. including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Stone soling properly hand packed filling interstices with Kharanja stone and consolidating with power road roller to the required gradient and camber including spreading watering and rolling of binding materials moorum or earth etc. complete as per HP.PWD specification 100mm compact thickness (finished work including materials and labour) including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of unlined surface drains of average cross-sectional area 0.40 Sqm. in soil to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions. Excavated material to be used in embankment with a lift upto 3 m. and lead of 50 m. (aveerage lead 25 m) as per Technical Specification Clause 307 Manual Means including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
