S & F second class hard wood, clean sawn timber batten sectional area exc 5 sq.cm but not exc 15 sq.cm at 30 cm centre to centre fixed with nails etc complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of plain cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness. (below or above ground level) and removing debris outside MD land complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for etc (Manhole cover/slab), cutting reinforcement steel to facilitate demolition of concrete including removing the materials out side MD land complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down chowkats or frame, not exceeding 1.5 Sqm in each with shutters (without taking off shutter from the frame) complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down chowkats or frames, exceeding 1.5 but n.exc. 4 Sqm in each with shutter (without taking off shutter from the frame) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Hardcore of broken/crushed stone aggregate of gauge n.exc 63 mm deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 75mm thick Plain cement concrete 1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub-base of floor, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 25mm thick Plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in level course of floor, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 75 mm thick, plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in plinth protection laid in proper slope/gradient etc, finishing cement concrete surface even and smooth without using extra cement including making joints with bitumastic filing in proportion of bitumen and sand 1:2 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Precast Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in cover slab of drain, etc and set in cement mortar 1:4 including necessary form work, moulds, etc complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. (Note : Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately)

S & F TMT steel bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bend to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for precast cement concrete block masonry type C1, 1:3:6 (20 mm graded granite stone aggregate) with solid blocks, exc 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for pressed steel frame of size 120X60 mm made out of 1.25mm thick plain black steel sheet for door with one or more rebates including fixing by welding necessary lugs, hinges, lock plate and PCC filling into frame using plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C1 etc complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : - Butt hinges shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under respective item BOQ.

M&L for 30 mm thick 2nd class hard wood factory made glazed/gauzed skeleton shutters for door, open rebated and prepared to receive glass, gauze etc (without sash bars), edges framing plain, chamfered or rounded, fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass/gauge etc; size of the members of shutters as specified in SSR Part- I, Section 8, clause 8.24(a) complete all as directed.

S&F 30mm thick Flush shutters, solid core construction, with block coard core & plywood face panels commercial type on both side conforming to IS 2202 (Part- I) -1999, including internal liping beading all round fixed as in Door Shutter,Cup board shutter & Kitchen rack all as specified.

Supply only 100 mm size, butt hinges, medium weight, cold rolled complete all as specified, and directed.

S & F 150 mm long, Aluminium, barrel tower bolts of extruded section of aluminium alloy, anodised finish not be less than Grade AC 10 of IS 1868:1996 with transparent anodic film complete all as specified and directed.

S & F box type steel windows/ventilators double side shutters ie glass and wire mesh shutter, including pressed steel frames made out of CRCA sheet of 80X60X1.25mm thick double rebated, shutters box type made out of CRCA sheet of 40X20X1.0mm thick, 12mm square guard bar/grill welded to steel frame, window shutters side hung, ventilator shutters top hung, box type hinges, aluminium die cast handles for glass shutters, iron flat type handles for mesh shutters, telescopic stays etc complete all as specified in TD drawing No TD/539 dated 09.02.2004 of Chief Engineer Chennai Zone and as directed. NOTE:- (i) Qouted rate under this item shall deemed to be inclusive of steel frame, both side steel shutters, guard bars/grills, handles, stays, beading/fillets for fixing glass/wire mesh including cost elements for fixing of glass & wire mesh and mearurement/ payment shall be considered as one unit by comprising all these elements. (ii) Glass and wire mesh shall be measured and paid as supply only underseparately under respective item.

Supply only stainless steel wire cloth 0.45mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with stainless steel wire staples, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for ceramic, coloured tiles 8 to 10 mm thick as in skirting/dado/vertical surfaces to match the length of floor tile procured under No 31 above including 10 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:3 set & jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match with the shade of tiles complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for precast chequered cement concrete tiles of size 40cm x 40cm x 25mm thick, as in floors etc, including 20 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 and set & jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in grey cement and pigments to match with the shade of tiles complete all as specified and directed.

S & F for false ceiling of 4mm thick HSPC (High Presure Steam Cured) pre-primed self embossed texured designer ceiling board, cement fibre board of size 595X595 mm (E-Board Classic, white colour) to be fixed in and including GI snap grid with rool formed out of hot dip galvanised steel capings (Powder coated finished) 600X600 mm system. S&F for pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick (Total coated thickness) of any colour, finished with resin coat on both surfaces @ 150 gm/sqm of coating (total both surfaces) having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering /cladding to wall, fixed with best quality self tapping screws as specified.

S & F Pre-Painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in ridges/valley gutter, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed. (Colour of ridge shall be same colour as that of sheet used for roof)

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on other than fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces and finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick in two layer (10mm + 5mm thick) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4, mixed with water proofing compound at top 5mm thick layer by weight of cement as per manufacturer's instructions and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. (Note : WPC shall be measured and paid separately against respective item).

"Supply only" integral water proofing compound (ISI marked) complete all as specified and directed. (Make : Dr FIXIT/Fosroc/choksey)

M & L for preparing newly plastered surfaces of internal walls, etc and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion over a coat of primer including 1 to 2mm thick wall care putty complete all as specified and directed.

M&L complete removal of existing treatment and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion over a coat of primer to plastered and other surfaces including providing wall care putty two coats in minimum 1mm to 2 mm thick on plastered surface complete all as specified.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment of wall and applying two coats of 100% premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC not less than 50gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, alkali & fungal resistance dirt resistance exterior paint of approved tint/shade (Company depot tinted) with silicon additive @ 1.43 litre/ 10 Sqm over and including applying priming coat of exterior primer @ 0.90 litre/10 Sqm over new/old surfaces of wall complete all as specified.

M&L preparation of plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of 100% premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC not less than 50gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, alkali & fungal resistance dirt resistance exterior paint of approved tint/shade (Company depot tinted) with silicon additive @ 1.43 litre/ 10 Sqm over and including priming coat exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 Sqm over new surfaces of wall complete all as specified.

M & L for Preparation of new or previously untreated wood and wood based surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of creosote oil complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Preparation of new or previously untreated wood and wood based surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide, zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-0, (using 12.50 mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping, kneelers, bed plates etc including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

E/M PORTION: - Taking down copper/ aluminium point wiring(light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fittings and fixtures such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, light fittings etc removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credit (credit for above items should be made as per conditions seperately) and making good distrubed surfaces of wall, floors, etc complete.

Point wiring with PVC insulated and unsheathed FRLS cable single core multistranded copper conductor 1.5 sqmm size, 1100 volts grade cable conforming to IS-694 1990 drawn in and including PVC rigid non metalic conduit on surface conforming to IS-9537 with all accessories including fabricated MS terminal boxes fixed flush with wall surface with 3mm thick laminated sheet top cover fixed with brass screw for mounting switches, sockets, regulator etc including 1.5 sqmm single core PVC insulated and unsheathed copper conductor earth continuity conductor to common earth and connecting to earth dolly all as specified for :- One light or fan point controlled by one 5 Amps switch one way.
