Design criteria: The structural shall be designed in accordance with relevent IS Provns/NBC code/ extant govt guidelines suitable for Thoise, however, some of design criteria are listed as under:
(a) Seismic Co-efficient:As per Seismic Zone IV.
(b) Snow load :As per IS codal provn applicable at Thoise.
(c) Wind load :Equivalent to wind speed of min 55 mtrs/sec or as per relevent IS applicable at Thoise .
(d) Roof slope: as per design requrement.
(e) Design load: As per IS 875/Relevent IS provn.
(f). Design of fdn as vetted by the auth as mentioned above.
(g) SBC of nearby area is roughly 15Ton/sqm at a depth of 1.5m . However, Contractor shall untertake actual SBC of site from Govt approved Lab/Agency and shall be approved by GE in case the SBC is less than 15Ton/Sqm the fdn design shall be accordingly modified and shall be got approved from GE . The quoted rate is deemed to incl this aspect.
(h) The FFL should be 450mm above the GL and subsequent filling and PCC work must be included in the quoted rates by the contractor.
(l) RCC Work of M30 Designmix should be considered in Thoise Area.

(C) Flue Gas Chimney:- Supply, installation of mild steel flue gas chimney ( suitable for emissiono as per boiler capacity made out of 3 mm thick mild steel sheet, minimum 3 mtr above the highest point of plant room as per manufacturer recommendations which ever is higher including connection to each boiler. Note : - (i)The complete design of CHS system shall be got vetted from IIT/NIT and complete design details including connected drawings all as specified in PS shall be submitted to GE for approval before starting the work. (a) The item shall be complete with the mounting/fixing arrangement all as specified by the boiler manufacturer including the dia of the exhaust flue Gas chimney as per the design and specification of the boiler installed 01 Nos.(b) The hot water generator shall be connected to the chimney. Day Oil Storage Tank Supply , Installation, testing and commissiong of HSD oil day storage tank rectangular mild steel(IS2062)/or relevant IS Code construction with capacity of 500 Ltrs complete with inlet, outlet, over flow drain and vent with flame arrestor. tank shall be made out of 4mm thick mild steel sheet and will be provided with supports made out of 50mm Dia medium grade pipe to keep tank base at minimum 2500mm above finished floor level. The engine shall confirm to IS: 10000/10002/ IS 13364/IS 1460/ IS 13656 /BS:649/ BS 5514 and CPCB -IV+ emission limits as per MoEF & CC Notification GSR 804(E) and subsequent amendments. The exhaust piping and the silencer shall be wrapped with rock wool and/or calcium silicate. The outside shall be neatly wrapped with aluminium cladding. The exhaust line shall be extended beyond the height of utility building roof as required by pollution control norms . Suitable supporting structure for installation shall be provided. Emission certificate from CPCB approved agency to be submitted at commissioning stage. (e) Hot air exhaust (Radiator cooling ):- As per OEM recommondation if sufficient exhaust for radiator is not available the contractor has to provide GI duct for hot air exhaust from DG set up to designed place of duct oulet. The duct shall be made of 14 gauge thick GI sheet including necessary civil work.Tropicalized radiator suitable for ambient up to 50˚ C, at altitude 100m;derating factor to be declared by OEM.
(f) Fuel Tank :- Inbuilt/ internal bottom mounted (within-in base frame) Diesel tank of suitable capacity with mounting brackets complete with fuel inlet,air vent drain plug, level indicator, internal connection pipes from tank to diesel generator as required, Suitable barrier shall be provided between Diesel tank and engine. The fuel tank shall be fabricated as per tropical conditons at 3048m above MSL with approx capacity or designed capacity shall be suitable for 8 hours full load condition or 14 hours of capacity of 75% load. In case the in built base frame tank is not capable to hold POL for 8 hours continuous opearation, contractor shall provide additional tank made of MS sheet capacity seperately as per manufacturer recommondations confirming to PESO norms & safety rules; return fuel line with seperator. (g) Starting system :- The engine starting shall be by means of totally enclosed axial type electric starter suitable for 12/24V volts DC starting comprising of starter motor, voltage regulator and arrangement for initial excitation complete with suitable number of batteries as per OEM specifications, sealed maintenance free batteries lead acid type confirming to IS 15549 (SMF/Lead acid) suitable for High altitude 3048m from MSL. The batteries shall be supplied with a suitable floor mounted MS stand treated with seven treatemnt, two coats of red oxide primer and acid resistant paint with wooden base, adaptor box etc with copper conductors battery leads of required length and socket / clamps. (h) Alternator :- (i) 100KVA 3 phase 0.8PF, 415V, 4 wire 1500 RPM self excited and self regulated through electronic AVR confirming to IS:4722/BS: 2613 suitable for 3048m above MSL with brushless exciter housed in screen protected drip proof enclosure. The alternator shall be confirming to IS: 13364 Part-II & IS 15999 part-I /IEC 60034 Part-I and CPCB-IV+ requires low THD (<3%) capable of delivering rated output at rated power factor 0.8 with a terminal volatage differing from the rated value by not more than +/- 5%. (ii) Frequency differing from the rated value by not more than +/- 0.5%. (iii) short circuit capacity of 300% for 10sec. (iv) Over load capacity of 110% for one hour. The insulation class for the alternator shall be H class. The temperature rise shall be limited to class B and ingresses enclosure protection shall be IP23 or better. Supply & fixing of 32mmx6mm GI strip on surface or in recesses for earth connections etc complete as required.
Sewage Disposal Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc n exc 10 sqm on plan and n exc 1.5m in depth and getting out hard/dense soil soil all as specified and as directed.
Returning, filling including spreading, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 CM in hard/dense soil all as specified and as directed.
Removing excavated material to a distance exc 250 mtr but not exc 500 mtr depositing where directed all as specified and as directed.
M&L cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate for foundation of manholes all as specified and as directed.
M&L for Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks, Type C1 1:3:6 (using 20 mm graded aggregate) exc. 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.
M&L plastering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound finished even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and directed.
Supply only Integral waterproofing compound all as specified and directed.
M&L cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate to bed concrete to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipe after they are laid and tested for 150mm dia pipe complete all as specified & directed.
Material & labour for 150 mm dia salt glazed stone ware (SGSW) drain pipes Grade A laid in any leangth and jointed with cement concrete 1:1 laid in trenches and tested complete all as specified & directed.
M&L cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in benching including necessary form work all as directed and specified.
Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms moulds mitred/stopped ends etc all as specified and directed.
M&L for precast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in cover slabs including necessary form work etc for manholes covers set in CM 1:4 (reinforcement measured seperately)
M&L for steel reinf TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length and bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hoping for columns, hooking end and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips all as specified and directed.
Supply and instaliation of Polythehe (LLDPE Underground septic tank) of capacity 1000 Ltr (CCST-100-01) of Roto moulding grade conforming to IS 10146:2003 and Relaince 'O' 35042 grade MFI : 2.0 to 6.0 gm/10 minutes and denisity 932 to 943 Kg/Cum and carbon black master batch content 40% ± 1% and ash content 1% max. The avarage weight of tank shall be 40+ 1Kg and wall thickness 7.3mm. The tank shall be installed as per manufacturer instructions. Note :- The excavation in any type of soil, PCC 1:4:8 below foundation, vent shaft, connection etc complete all as required as per manufacturer's instructions will be included in cost of LumpSum quoted against this item and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and tenders are to quote their rates accordingly.
Material & labour for construction of soakage well excavation, in any type of soil, foundation in PCC 1:3:6, walls of honey combed masonry with top ring of M25 concrete including intercepting chamber and screen chamber made of Brick masonary in CM, RCC cover slab in M25/ SFRC cover, interconnecting pipes of RCC/DWC complete filled with brick bats, size of soakage well 1.8m dia and 3.00m effective depth all as specified and as directed as per TD CE/AF/STD-15/2000 dated 05-01-2000.
