Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. (a) In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works.

Extra for using GI sections, ie angles, plates, flats etc instead of MS sections ie, angles , plates and flats for executing work vide item No.1

Supplying Galvanised M.S. Nut bolt, washer , spring washer etc. of required diameter and size for tower work incl. carriage from Port Blair to Nimbudera in Middle Andaman.

Transportation of tower ladder, cable tray, platform materils from Port Blair including loading and unloading and installing available ladder, safety guard rings, cable tray and working platforms on 60 m GBT including Lifting/hoisting the materials with rope & pulley arrangement without causing damage to the materials. The members should be fixed to the 60m GBT at the locations as per design drawing by bolting to the flanges available on the tower with MS hot dipped galvanized nuts, bolts and spring & pack washers tightening properly, etc as per the approved drawing as per the direction of Engineer in Charge. The rate includes cost of labour, tool & plant charges, insurance charges for installing the tower materials. Proper safety measures shall be followed as per the guidelines for erction for towers (The cost of materials ie MS/GI pipes, MS/GI angle and plate sections, nuts,, bolts, washers etc will be paid separately )

Painting the installed ladder, safety guard rings, cable tray and two numbers of working platforms at top of 60 metre ground based tower with Luxol or equivalent high gloss synthetic enamel paint in two or more coats of required colour, (as per aviation standards for tower) and even shade over a coat of Zinc Chromate primer on the new work as directed by Engineer-in?charge. This item includes necessary hire charges of tools & plants, payment of insurance premium of working labours, safety implements, etc., all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
