Excavation in trenches not exc 1.50 metre wide and not exc 1.50 metre deep in soft/ loose soil for laying of pipe line and getting out complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning filling in, including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge..

Removal of excavated soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point. Complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up existing DI pipe line of size 80 mm and removing old unserviceable Tyton joint (push-on-joint) and supply , fixing and testing of Tyton joint (push-on-joint) or D joint as per site requirement and relaying the pipe line complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for repairing to existing CI/DI/MS pipe line, leakage by caulking of lead joint or any other means like fixing a clamp with rubber sheet at the place of leaking joints in running water pipe line or D joint including necessary material complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In- Charge for 200mm/150mm/100mm/80mm bore CI/DI pipe and fitting such as clamps or any other fittings if required whill be provided by the contractor and its cost is included in the quoted item rate.

S & F in repair PVC float valve 20 mm dia high pressure with polythene float and fly nuts complete screwed for GI pipe and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

Complete removal of the wild grass/ vegetation from surrounding area of OHTs, Tubeswells/Boosters and installations area and making the surface clear and plain and spraying roundup chemical on the same clean area as directed after removing and depositing the same at a distance not less than 50 mtr away from the site complete all as specified. Material and labour for complete servicing of 85 BHP, 1800 RPM diesel engine driven fire pump, removing all accessories required for repair/replacement, cleaning, washing of all the parts and reassembling after repair/replacement and commissioning testing on full load including complete replacement of engine oil, coolant and replacement of the following items:- M&L for replacement of Air filter. M&L for replacement of luberication oil filters. M&L for replacement fuel filters. M&L for cleaning of fuel tank thoroughly M&L for cleaning of radiator assembly thoroughly.

Material and labour for replacement of Earthing complete with galvanized iron or steel plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6.00 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt in alternate layers and electrode connected to galvanized iron strip 25 x 4mm dia as earthing lead by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, earth strip protected by galvanized steel pipe 40 mm bore (light grade) connected to machinery/equipment all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR-2010 Part I and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20mm bore light grade GI pipe for watering, funnel, wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 chamber, PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 reinforced with 6 mm dia MS round bars @ 15 cm c/c both ways for cover 50 mm thick and MS frame of suitable size made of angle iron 50 x 50 x 60 mm, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The unit rate includes earth lead and protection pipe up to maximum 7.5 metre from earth plate to earth point/test point. (ii) Earth pit shall be constructed minimum 0.5 metre away from existing earth.

M & L for Discharge pressure switch - standard (UL/FM). The pressure switch is activated by pressure from the agent during discharge and can be used to signal to a control panel that the system has actually discharged. The pressure switch latches on operation and has a reset button including taking down old unserviceable switch complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting existing road incl repairing after laying of pipe line with premix carpet, WBM and hardcore complete as per existing specifications complete all as specified and directed by Engr - in - Charge. Note:-(i) Since this work pertains to water supply of station so timely action is the utmost essential criterion, so action shall be initiated within 8 hours after receiving order ( through Phonecall, Text message, site Order or any other means) from Engineer in charge/JE E/M. If due to any unavoidable circumstance contractor is not able to perform the work within 8 hours then work shall be initiated by next morning/Day, else penality @ Rs 1000/- per delay day shall be imposed over the contractor. Decision of Accepting officer will be final in case of any dispute ragarding this.

Continuous inspection of interrupted/breakdown of external water supply and repair to make the continuity of external water supply after detecting & rectifying the defect such as replacement of nipple, tee,union,socket etc or blockage in any pipe of size 15mm to 25 mm and other minor items required in order to make good the continuity of water supply to the entire satisfaction of EIC.

Continuous inspection of interrupted/breakdown of external water supply and repair to make the continuity of external water supply after detecting & rectifying the defect such as replacement of nipple, tee,union,socket etc or blockage in any pipe of size 40 mm to 80 mm and other minor items required in order to make good the continuity of water supply to the entire satisfaction of EIC.

(i)This item pertains to attending complaints of external water supply such as T&P and safety tools will be the responsibility of contractor etc as required in order to attend the complaint to the entire satisfaction of user/Engineer-in-charge.Note:Rs 150/- per complaint per day will be recover from contractor payment if fail to rectify complain .Necessary exacavation /digging wherever required for the rectification of complaint will be done by the contractor and no extra amount will be paid seperately .Necessary excavation/ digging wherever required will be done by contractor .

(ii) : For each complaint in location, a docket slip shall be prepared by the contractor/ his representative and handed over to related tradesman, etc. for attending the complaint and after satisfactorily completion of complaint, docket slip shall be submitted to concerned executive on day of register of complaint, which shall be got signed from the occupant and shall be produced at the time of payment to be made to the contractor.

Contract Amount shall be derived after deducting the amount of Schedule of Credit in General Summary of tender documents.
