PART C: PAVEMENT

Excavation for roadway in ordinary rock by deploying a dozer D-50 including cutting and pushing the cut earth to site of embankment upto a distance of 100 m (average lead 50 m), trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with the requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections with lift upto 1.5 m.

Providing, Laying and spreading of Nallah Mukh/RBM with nearest source including watering and compacting to the required densityby mechanical means.including cost and carriage of all materials from approved source to site of work,with all leads, lifts, loading unloading and octori.(Finished work to be measured, complete job .)

Wet Mix Macadam. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100kN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etc as per Tables 400.11 & 400.12 and Technical Specification Clause 406..including loading, unloading, haulages,octroi charges and royality complete.(finished work to be measured complete)

Scarifying the existing Bituminious: Scarifying road surface by mechanical means upto required depth and disposal of scarified material with a reqd lead and lift as per technical specification clause 301.4

Prime Coat: Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502. Bituminous Macadam : Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant 50 mm thick using crushed aggregates of grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site upto a lead of 1000 m laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 504including loading, unloading, haulages,octroi charges and royality complete.(finished work to be measured complete)
