Taking down defective transformers of any size and capacity incl disconnecting elect connection LT/HT side from two pole structure, from platform or from indoor sub stn transporting it to the workshop for repairs testing/commissioning and reinstallation after repairs including making elect connection on HT/LT side complete all as directed.

Strip opening of transformer 315 to 500 KVA, 11 KV/440 volts indoor/outdoor of any make/type after unscrewing nuts/bolts, washers and taking down other connected accessories, such as temp gauge/breather, conservator tank for rewinding of HT/LT coils (Payment of repairs replacement of parts, rewinding of coils and filtration of oil will be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of schedule complete all as directed.

All as per srl item No 2 hereinbefore but of capacity 200 KVA to 250 KVA complete all as directed.

All as per srl item No 2 above but of capacity 100 KVA to 160 KVA complete all as directed.

Replacement of HT coils made out of super enameled copper winding wire for transformer capacity 100 KVA to 500 KVA complete all as directed. Note Mode of rewinding/gauge of winding wire will be maintained as per the manufacturers design.

Replacement of LT coil of copper strip duly insulated/cotton covered/varnished as per the standard design complete all as directed.

Reconditioning of LT coils by removing old insulation, covering with super enameled varnish, cotton tape etc complete all as directed. Note for Sl item No 2 to 7:- The contractor has to get the repair work done through OEM and submit OEMs service and test reports

Filtration & Dehydration of transformers oil by attending each transformers, HT OCB, LT OCB, HT VL switches etc through on line filtration equipment to with stand min dielectric strength 40 KV for 1 min at 2.5 mm gap and flash at 60 KV without disturbing/switching off system complete all as directed.

Supply and topping up of fresh transformer oil on transformer/OCBs having lower level of oil, levelling up to desired level having dielectric strength not less than 45 KV confirming to relevant IS complete all as directed.

Decanning of existing burnt transformer oil, washing the tank with petrol / spirit and refilling new transformer oil confirming to relevant IS complete up to desired level, oil dielectric strength is 45- 50KV confirming to relevant IS complete all as directed.

Preparing the surface of the transformers for painting by cleaning thoroughly the surface for removing dirt, grease, oil, scales etc and spray painting with a coat of synthetic enamel paint of suitable/specified colour as directed including painting/writing the SM and MES No on the transformer with white paint complete all as directed of the following capacities:- (a) Transformer 500 KVA to 315 KVA.

(b) Transformer 250 KVA to 200 KVA.

(c) Transformer 160 KVA to 100 KVA.

Painting of LT panel at site (prior to painting to transformer will be fully cleaned/scrubbed removing of oil deposition/dirt/oil paint etc) with super enamelled paint duly approved from Engineer-in-Charge complete all as directed.

Painting of existing outdoor substation fencing (XPM) at site (prior to painting to fencing will be fully cleaned/scrubbed removing of rust deposition/dirt/oil paint etc) with super enameled paint duly approved from Engineer-in-Charge complete all as directed.

Replacement of tap changing device for 100 KVA to 500 KVA transformers completes all as directed.

Earthing with earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25m below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at depth not less than 1.5m below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate atdepth not less than sides by 15cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connected to and including earthing of GI strip 32 x 6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of GI and protected by light grade 40mm dia GI pipe connected to main switch board or control board and GI pipe light grade 20mm dia for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, precast RCC pit cover 40mm thick in cement concrete 1:2:4, type B1 with 8mm dia MS reinforcement at 10cm centre to centre both ways and PCC chamber pit with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 including excavation and earth work, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m complete all as directed and shown on plate No 3 of SSR Part I 2009. Note: - (i) Earthing strip and protection pipe to a length of 7.5 m is deemed to be included in the rate of this item. (ii) The unit rate deemed to include taking down old earthing.

Replacing worn out rubberized cork sheet gaskit form top cover and HT/LT connection side of transformer of any Make/Capacity and providing the new synthetic rubberized cork sheet on top cover and HT/LT connection both side & servicing of defective HT/LT bushes with brass spindle, nuts, bolts, washers insulation complete all as directed. Note: - (i) New nut and bolts with washer for top cover as per existing size is deemed to be included in the rate of this item. (ii) The unit rate deemed to include drain out transformer oil storing the same in suitable container to be provided by the contractor and refilling the same after necessary repair. (iii) HT/LT bushes will be measured and paid separately

Supply only HT bushes with brass spindle with hexazonal brass nut 02 Nos and washers for the transformer of any capacity and size complete all as directed.

Supply only LT bushes with brass spindle with hexagonal brass nut 02 Nos and washers for the transformer of any capacity and size complete all as directed.

Replacement of temperature gauge for recording observation of temperature of transformer oil complete all as directed.

Gate valve brass 3/4" ISI marked with iron wheel complete all as directed.

Painting to cross arms "V" type with one coat of aluminum paint on 11 KV HT pole on distribution system after thoroughly cleaning the surfaces including cross arm clamps, pin insulators clamps, insulators pins, bolt nuts etc complete all as directed.

One coat of aluminum paint on painting to angle iron channel both side and GI protection pipe of any type on two/four pole of 11 KV distribution systems after thoroughly cleaning the surfaces including clamps complete all as directed.

Trimming /cutting tree branches with clearing space up to 2 meter from the over head conductor system all around for HT distribution system (two times in the currency of the contract) complete all as directed. Measured each span as distance pole to pole.

Finding out cable fault of HT cables of any sizes using the cable fault indicator complete all as directed. Note - Hiring / Providing of the HT cable fault indicator is deemed to be including in the quoted rate.

Servicing of existing GOD with replacement with GI nuts bolts, washers and lugs etc. as per site requirement including necessary silicon compound and cleaning with petroleum jelly all as complete all as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and additional 1.5m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.5 m deep and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as directed.

Repair and servicing of HT 11KV four pole structure by replacing galvanized PG clamps, GI bolts and nuts, pieces of ACSR conductor with insulation of any size as jumpers including lubricating the moving parts of AB switch and cleaning of all disc/pin insulators and applying silicon compound for prevention of arcing due to dust/salt deposits over the surfaces including applying one coat of red oxide primer on rusted portions after preparation of surfaces & applying a coat of aluminium paint to the entire steel structure complete all as directed.

Repair and servicing of HT 11KV two pole structure by replacing galvanized PG clamps, GI bolts and nuts, pieces of ACSR conductor with insulation of any size as jumpers including lubricating the moving part of AB switch and cleaning of all disc/pin insulators and applying silicon compound for prevention of arcing due to dust/salt deposits over the surfaces including applying one coat of red oxide primer on rusted portions after preparation of surfaces and applying a coat of aluminium paint to the entire steel structure complete all as directed.

Preparing old painted surfaces of 11m long steel tubular pole complete including all accessories such as cross arms bracings, brackets etc and paints with two coats of Aluminium paint of approved tint including writing pole number with paint same as existing earlier complete all as directed.

Servicing to vacuum circuit breakers (Make: Kirloskar/ABB) of rating 630/800 Amps, 11 KV, 3 Phase of different Make by removing incoming and outgoing cable connections, moving and fixed contacts cleaning the parts with CTC, servicing contacts, checking the VCB panel healthiness of faults tripping system by using secondary injection method and checking breaker, closing coils, improving the insulation resistance and re-assembling the same with new or old spares and checking the proper functioning of the whole VCB complete all as directed. Note: -(i) New spare shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of schedule 'A'.(ii) Hiring of technician/service engineer from Kirloskar/ABB is the responsibility of contractor and rate for the same deemed to be included in the quoted rate

Disconnect and taking out the Numeric/ Microprocessor based relay including earth fault and over current relays of any type of any Make from 11 KV HT panel, cleaning the contacts, calibrating the relay by conducting secondary injection tests, checking of current transformer, rectification of defects in control wiring for proper tripping of circuit breakers through CTs and relay and tripping coils, adjustment/setting to plug and time multiplier settings of the relay to achieve the discrimination in tripping, tune/synchronies upstream breaker relay settings, re-installation of relay, testing & commissioning etc complete all as directed. Note: The Contractor has to arrange necessary testing Kits, testing equipments, tools etc and shall also submit detailed test reports, panel wise, duly spiral bound. Rental rates for the testing/calibration kits & connected equipments are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. Testing & tuning shall be carried out in the presence of representative of the Department, to the satisfaction of the Department.

Overhauling of voltage stabilizer of capacity 500 KVA (Make : Vinitec) by disconnecting all the cables and connections and taking it to the workshop and draining out oil complete and taking out the core and do necessary rewinding including replacing faulty coils and checking the continuity and insulation values of all three phases, reinsulating and inspecting and replacing the PCB, repair and servicing of breaker, removing and cleaning the sludge from the tank, refilling the oil after filtering by using online centrifugal machine and obtain the dielectric strength of oil not below 60 KV at 2.5 mm gap including testing of voltage stabilizer by reconnecting the disconnected cables and calibrating complete all as directed.Note: The rate shall also deemed to be included the rate for (i) Technician, Electrician, and labours(ii) Supply and fixing of drain valve to the voltage stabilizer.(iii) Transportation to and from workshop(iv) Bushes, bearing, gears and other spares(v) Oil will be measured and paid separately. The contractor can visit the site for inspection of stabilizer between 9:00 to 17:00 before quoting the work. Note for Sl item No 69 to 71:- The contractor has to get the repair work done through OEM and submit OEMs service and test reports.

Replacement of vacuum bottle suitable for HT 11Kv VCB as per site requirement suitable for 11 KV 630/400 Amp VCB complete all as directed. Make: - CG/Areva or equivalent as approved by GE.

Repair/Replacement of PT 11 KV suitable to VCB 11 KV 600/400 Amps mounting on top draw out type metering and protection ratio 11KV /110 volt/ /110/3 VA class LV1: 200/ 1.0,LV2:100/3P as per site requirement complete all as directed. Make:- CG/Areva or equivalent as approved by GE.

Replacement of current transformer epoxy type up to ratio: - 400/200/100/5-5A suitable for 11 KV VCB 630/400 Amps capacity requirement. Burden Of CT shall be core 1:15 VA/1.0, core 2 : 15 VA5P10 complete all as directed. Make: GE/AE/Areva or equivalent as approved by GE.

Replacement with calibration of digital Non directional Over current and Earth fault Protection Relay by making necessary modifications in the existing HT 11kV panel as per site requirement complete all as directed. Make:- Siemens/ ABB/ Schneider/ Larsen & Tubro/ EPCOS/ Jaipuria

Single pole non directional tripping relay type VAJ H13 (VAJH13) VCB complete all as directed. Make: AREVA/Alstom or equivalent as approved by GE.
