SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I [ ROAD WORKS]

Repair to pot holes, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming, including supply of road metal/ aggregates, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Preparing of existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bitumen primer @ 3.00Kg/10Sqm using cationic emulsion RS1 grade over black top surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC), 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder content of paving bitumen by weight of total mix using VG-30 grade bitumen, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete using mechanical paver and rolled using power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed. Note: The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following element:- (i) In case of variation in the binder content as per approved design mix in comparison with the binder content as specified above, the variation in qty of binder content on lesser side shall be adjusted through supply only rate of Bitumen VG-30. However, variation on the upper side shall be carried out by the contractor without any price adjustment.

Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam with 4 % binder content of paving bitumen by weight of total mix using VG-30 grade bitumen, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity, consolidated thickness of 75 mm or less, complete all as specified and directed.

Surfaces dressing not exceeding 15cm deep as in berms including removal all as specified and as directed

Material and Labour for 75mm thick (spread Thickness) moorum/red bajri filling in road spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber as required complete all as specified and as directed

Providing and applying road marking paint by laying of hot applied thermo plaster compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beds @250gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beds as per IRC 35. The finished surface to be levelled uniform and free from streaks and holes etc complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and fix cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mmx 100mmx 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size all as per manufactures complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floor/paving not exceeding 15cm thick below or above GL unreinforced including removal of debris to a distance exe 50m and not exc. 250 m and deposite complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for providing 100mm thick plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in ffootpath/ hardstanding concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Forming Contraction (Dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with sealing compound 'A' complete all as specified and directed.
