Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanised earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly in ground in vertical position, earth pit not less than 2.25 Metre deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Metre below ground level connetced with galvanised iron earthing strip of size 32 mm x 6mm by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel earthing lead protected by galvanised iron pipe 40 mm bore (medium grade) and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor or main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (light grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary excavation & earth work, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I complete to obtain less than 1 Ohm earth resistance, fiaxed in repairs complete all as specified and as directed

Supply,lay and test XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with multi-stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 Volts grade, of cross sectional area 95 Sqmm x 3.5 core, laid in trenches/ passing through pipe/ duct or fixed to wall including provision of necessary lugs/ thimbles/ ferrules, connecting up, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i)Excavation, earth work, riddled earth cushioning, bricks/ GI pipe for protection shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items in this BOQ. Excavating in trenches n. exc. 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m depth and getting out in hard/dense soil for laying cables, pipes, etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Suplly and fix HDPE pipe of size 15 mm bore dia of pipe ,pressure rating 6 kgf/cm2 with all fittings laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.. Note : Make of HDPE Pipe:Finolex/Supreme/Prince (ISI MARKED)

Returning filling in approved excavated earth including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus excavated soil to a distance n exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply ,instaii ,test and commissioning of Silent Diesel (Acoustic Enclosures as per CPCB-II norms suitable for ambient condition at Belgaum) Engine driven Generating Set 100 KVA /80kW , 415 volt, 3 phase, 50 Hz, 4 wire engine ,Prime Power ,1500 RPM , self exicited self regulated brushless AC generator ,radiator cooled as per IS-10001/10002 and alternator as per IS-13364 complete with Relay Panel and change over switch gears for automatic starting on Main Failure Control panel including provision of AMF panel having meter and sound proof canopy as per CPCB norms and directly coupled to diesel engine, mounted on common base plate, vibration damper with AMF Panel (manual/automatic) suitable for 100 KVA DG set alongwith connected accessories, generator set prime rating as per ISO : 8528 complete with relay panel for automatic starting on main electric supply failure, control panel having meters, sound proof canopy, class "H" insulation, power factor 0.8, with 12 Volt rated battery, sound level 75dB (A) at one meter from enclosure asurface in free field condition as per ISO:8528 suitable for using with AMF sysytem and foundation etc complete all as specified and directedand comprising of the following items :Note : Make of Engine : CUMMINS INDIA LTD/ Kirlosker Green/Stamford Make of Alternator :KIRLOSKAR Green /STAMFORD

NOTES : (i) The capacity of Generator set shall be net after all due derating factors as per relevant ISI standard. (ii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of lubricant oil and final successful acceptance test. (iii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of 12 hours test run at site including of one hour on 10% overload in presence of representative detailed by accepting Officer .All arrangements are to be made by the contractor for tests. (iv) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be included in making necessary holes to walls and making good to distrubed surfaces of match to original specification and connection up complete all as specified and as directed.

(A). Alternator :- Standard design alternator rated at 100 KVA net output at site after considering derating as per site conditions at 0.8 (lag) power factor AC, 3 - phase 4 - wire 415 volts 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, self excited self regulated screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brushless design with winding in pole faces, insulating class 'H' and voltage regulation of + 1% at rated voltage from no load to full load. The alternator shall be confirming to BS 2613/5000 and shall be in position to generate supply with frequency regulation with in + 1% tolerence. The alternator shall be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally confirm to BS - 2613/5000/ IS - 4722 with the following specifications : i) Insulation class - 'H' ii) Temparature rise Class - 'H' iii) Excitation : Self Excited iv) Regulation performance: The voltage is kept constant with + 1%, manual voltage adjustment within + 5% . v) Frequency regulation + 1% vi) 2 runs of UG cable of suitable size from Alternator to AMF is deemed to be include in the quoted rate.

(B) Diesel Engine: - Adequate capacity Diesel engine suitable for 100 KVA coupled drive independently above alternator and after considering derating as per site conditons after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories, directly coupled through flexible coupling ,multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per relevant ISI/BS - 5514 with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in 12 hours continuous running complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under:- i) Fly wheel with housing ii) Cooling system :- Mounted radiator with fan & belts. iii) Cooling Water pump : - Centrifugal type belt driven. iii) Cooling Water pump : - Centrifugal type belt driven.

iv) Exhaust System :- Exhaust System complete with exhaust piping of suitable dia as per manufacture standard with MS pipe light grade upto and away two meters height from top of enclosure incluing necessary MS angle iron frame supports from floor to the bottom of exhaust pipe from the enclosure covered with mineral wool of thickness 50mm rapped with chicken wire mesh of size 2.25mm and aluminium sheet of 24 SWG to be complete with in the enclosure for safe exhaust without transforming vibration to the wall of the enclosure. and comprising the following specifications : i)Exhaust gas turbo charger type ii)Exhaust manifold iii)Silencer : Residential type Bellows

iv) Fuel System :- Fuel injection system with fuel injectors, fuel injection solenoid switch/ nozzles/ governer electronic type capable for 1% speed /frequency regulation and comprising the following specifications : Fuel filters Fuel hoses v) Lub oil System :- Lubricating oil filter Lubricating oil pump vi) Air Intake System :- Air intake Manifold Air cleanler dry type vii) Governer :- Hydro Mechanical Governer viii) Starting System :- Electric Self starter with maintenace free batteries including battery charging alternator. ix) Batteries :- 01 Nos.Maintenece free Batteries of 12 VOLT 100 AH capacity complete with copper conductor multistrnded leads of suitable length from self starter to the battary terminals complete with initial charge and initial fill of electrolite Make:- EXIDE / AMRON/TATA GREEN .

xi) Generator Monitoring Panel: Comprising of the following a. Microprocessor based genset contoller for metering, monitoring, governing and protection b. Engine protection for low lub oil pressure, high coolant temperature (alarm & shutdown) c. Alternator protection parameters like under voltage, over current, under frequency, over frequency ( alarm & shut down) d. Relay drivers for remote annuciations e. Cyclic cranking f. Auto/manual start/ stop g. Alternator trim adjustment from the front key pad h. Operates within a temperature range 0- 500C and humidity upto 95% j. Remote monitoring capability through separate interface modules k..Fly wheel housing and fly wheel. xi) Safety Controls : - Engine low lube oil pressure, high water temparature and over speeding of engine. xii) Coupling arrngement : - Flexible coupling, fly wheel to suit flexiable coupling fly wheel housing. xiii) Accessories :- AVM Pads built or separtely mounted to manufactrer base frames. xiv) Base Frame : - Made out of ISMC 250 of sturdy design made of MS channel with necessary reinforcement and predetermined holes.

xv) Fuel Tank :- Daily service fuel tank of capacity suitable for 8 hrs continuous opeation made out of 3mm thick (Heat Retradant) sheet top and bottom with caliberated level indicating arrangement, stop cock, drain plug, fuel pump of suitable capacity and connected pipe line should be installed with in bulit tank inside the acoustic enclosure. xvi) Deliverables. (C) AMF PANEL:- D. Acoustic enclosure: Enclosure is free standing floor mounted factory built and modular in construction to facilitate easy assembly at work site and will be drop over housing type. It will consist of acoustically treated panel housed in sheet steel will provide easy access for maintenance, repairs and operation. The enclosure is custom built to suit conditions, with the following features:- i) Custom built product for various equipments, with ensure the optimum performance without duration. ii) Rugged in construction maintenance free and modular designs which facilitate easy at site. iii) 16 SWG (1.6 mm) thick CRCA sheets to be used for enclosure panel to ensure longer life against weathering action. High quality acoustic insulation materials to be used as per IS 8183 for maximum sound absorption. Acoustic layers are supported by perforated sheets iv) Sheet metal components of the enclosure should undergo various stages of surface treatment prior to painting which leads to be better life of the enclosure against weathering action.

v) Special paint treatment with pure polyester powder / epoxy to be provided for better weather resistance. vi) Well designed ventilation system to be provided to pump up the heat in the chamber efficiently. vii) For effective acoustic / weather sealing a special type weather sealing gaskets, new frame rubber gaskets to used. viii) Working space is to be provided around the equipment for easy maintenance / repairs. ix) Necessary cut out provision for entry and exist of fuel lines cable to be incorporated in the enclosure as per the requirement. x) A see through transparent window (glass or acrylic) in front of engine panel to provided for monitoring the operation. xi) Ducting if required, bellows, mechanical hardware like locks, hinges fasteners etc to be provided. xii) Deliverables. 75 dBA @ 1mtr at 75% load under free field conditions. The temp inside the enclosure will be within as per manufacturers recommendations above ambient temp. xiii) The enclosure should be provided with bulk head light fitting for inside illumination xiv) The battaries should be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG Set on a suitable inlsulated plat form.

xv) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button. xvi) The accoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treatment process. The powder coating shade should be Genset Green. The base frame should be painted with epoxy based black shade. TESTING OF DG SET:- After installation of DG set ,It will tested at various load for different Time period for resistive load system (a) At No load - 30 minutes (b) At 25 % load - 30 minutes (c) At 50 % load - 1 hour (d) At 75 % load - 1 hour (e) At 100 % load - 8 hours (f) At 110 % load - 1 hour The following itmes are deemed to be included in the rate quoted for DG set:- (i) DHPP for testing purpose shall be supplied by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt. (ii). The contractor shall arrange for artificial load for testing for final testing of DG Set at site and the cost is deemed to beincluded in the rate by the contractor for this item. (iii) Testing of sound level should carried out at the site in presence of GE.

(E) Civil Works :-All civil works including PCC plat form and related to foundations including of panel and equipments including making good and existing structrure of distrubed during installation and commissioning of genset. The depth of the foundation shall be minimum 300mm with antivibration pads or as recommended by the manufacturer Documents : Standard documents as per manufacturer specifications such as maintenance & operation manual, parts catalogue, display charts such as maintenance and oil change chart/board (for generator and diesel engine) and log book as directed by concerned executives.

Material and labourfor Earth continuity conductor or main earthing strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed with poles or any other indicated sitution for loop earthing etc as required using galvanised iron strip of size 25x4mm including neccery drilling works, jointing, etc fixed in repair complete all as specified and as directred.

Excavating in post holes each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, in soft /loose soil, ramming earth filling or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers nexc 25 cm watering and removing surfaces soil to distance nexc 50 m and making good the surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 100 mm thick Plain cement concrete type C2 1:3:6 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base etc including necessary steel form work complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix Rolled mild steel Roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins , rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats etc confirming to Fe-410-W (Gde-E-250) quality-A complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and for Plain Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate)as in floor for platform of DG set including necessary steel form work complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 2mm thick Fibre glass reinforced translucent corrugated sheeting with two corrugations side lap fixed with L or J type or cranked hook bolt and washer in roof,wall etc. complete all as specified and as directed.(ISI MARKED)

Material and labour for Preparation of new steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or grith and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint ( 1st grade quality) over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and as directed.
