MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS OF WORKS (SCH 'A' PART-VIII)

EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY WORKS

Material and labour for ductile iron pipe 150mm nominal bore with spigot and socketed ends class K-9 suitable for rubber ring push on joints, laid in trenches, under the roads or fixed on walls with suitable clamps, nuts, bolts and washers including rubber ring joints all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Excavation, earth work will be measured and paid separately.

Dismantling old unserviceable valve pits of any size and construction of brick masonary pits of internal dimension 1mtr x 1mtr x 1mtr (bottom PCC floor of the pit should be minimum 30cms below the bottom surface of sluice valve flange to provide sufficient working space), bottom floor of the pit be constructed in PCC (1:3:6) 15cms thick with 20mm stone aggregate, inner and exposed surfaces and bottom floor of the pit should be plastered in cement mortar (1:4) 15mm thick. The sluice valve and other fittings should be housed in center of the pit. The vertices of the pit should in right angle and chamfered. The top cover of the pit will be made out of MS sheet 3mm thick with angle iron frame made out of MS angle 50mmx50mmx6mm with galvanized steel hinges two Nos and locking arrangements duly painted with two coats of water resistant synthetic enameled paint over one coat of red oxide complete all as shown in Drg No CEJZ/TD-1060 Sheet 1/3 to 3/3

Supply and fixing sluice valve with flanged stainless steel stem and wedge nut, long body conforming to IS-14846-2000 class PN-1.0 ISI marked with stainless steel spindle & flanged both ends of size 150mm dia bore with hand wheel complete all as specified.

EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION WORKS

Supply and fixing of thermoplastic polycarbonate cable junction box hinged door type of size 200x160x98mm for P and N incoming cable, P&N outgoing cable and single P&N connection for light fitting with terminal block with cage and clamp system (screw less), shock proof safe IP-55, weather proof, rust, dust and water proof internally embedded gasket with provision for cable entry through gland alongwith MS clamps and mounting brackets as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out and relaying existing underground cables of any size & type after repairing defects etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation & earth work, sand cushioning, cable protection covers and joints shall be measured and paid separately.
