Miscellaneous work in relation to cable diversion due to LHS, re-building of Bridges etc. over SBP Division.

"Excavation of trenches of following depth and width 0.3 Meter detailed below including clearing of roots and trees etc. for all types of soil. This work also includes covering of cables laid in trench and backfilling, ramming, consolidation of soil as well as disposal of extra soil 2 after cable is laid as specified in Guidelines on Signalling Cable laying given by RDSO and any latest circular issued by CSTE/ECoR/BBS. Note: Before refilling of the trenches, the cable laid are to be tested and recorded for its insulation value and after satisfaction of site Engineer the refilling process should start and after monsoon the route is to be attended for backfilling the rain cuts, wash out of soils where ever found."

Excavation of trenches in all kinds of soils including soft rocky area and clearing of track etc. to a depth of 1.0 M and width of 0.3 M for track crossing /pucca road/level crossing gate/platform/station circulating area or any other place as advised by site Engineer including transportation and laying of DWC/RCC/Split RCC/G.I. pipes with or without coupler. This includes repairing of track/pucca road/level crossing gate/ platform/station circulating area surface to original position by ramming and concreting wherever required soon after the work is over. DWC/RCC/GI pipes shall be supplied by the Railway. DWC pipes wherever required shall be supplied in 6 Mtr. length and shall be cut to size as per requirement. All other materials including cement are to be supplied by the contractor.

Transportation and fixing of perforated G.I. Pipes on bridges, culverts, drains or in trenches or any other place as per instruction of site Engineer with clamps at 1.5 mts. interval on steel girder bridges or at places advised by site Engineer. This includes supplying of G.I. Pipes, 80/100/150 mm dia. Specn. No. IS:1239/2004, or latest medium gauge with threaded collars (Make - 4 TATA /JINDAL) by tenderer. This also includes 100 mm thick concreting on GI pipes as required and instructed by site Engineer and all other materials required for the work shall be supplied by the tenderer. Note: The G.I. pipe shall be perforated by drilling 7 mm dia holes length wise in zig-zag manner staggered at a distance of 300 mm. G.I. Pipes before and after perforation and bridge fixtures supplied by the tenderer will be inspected by representative of Railway before use. The bridge fixtures will be supplied by tenderer for fixing of GI pipes on girder bridges only. (ii) GI pipes of 100 mm Dia

Cutting of masonary floor/walls at station building/ signal goomty/ Gate lodge at a depth of 0.5 mtr. to 1.0 mtr at places to be indicated by site Engineer for entering of cables inside 5 the building. Only G.I pipes supplied by Railway and all materials as clamps, bolts & nuts as instructed by site Engineer supplied by tenderer. This includes repairing of masonary floors/walls after the cables are taken inside. Cement, Sand required for the work shall be supplied by the tenderer and also transportation of G.I Pipe from Store by the tenderer.

Concreting (Mix 1:2:4) 200 mm x 200 mm on G.I. Pipes on bridges/ culverts or any other location as specified by the Rly. supervisor. All materials including cement required for the above works are to be supplied by the tenderer.

Concreting (1:1.5:3) at a height of 150 mm & width of 0.3 m after laying of cables 7 where it is not possible to dig up to full depth of 1.2m/1.0m/0.8m in normal soil due to existing cables are in the trench, culverts, bridges. All materials including cement and chips of size 20mm. etc. to be supplied by the contractor.

Laying of Signalling/4 Quad/ 6 Quad/ Power Cable/Telecom cables/ Jelly filled cables of all sizes in excavated trench, through GI/RCC/DWC pipes etc. wherever required. This includes transportation of cables from the stores to work site and transportation of empty cable drums with 8 left over cables from site to the stores at SBP . The length of cable laid includes the length of cable coil for termination purpose. NOTE: The cables are to be carefully handled during loading, un-loading and transportation to work site. Any damage found in the cable after final testing, in view of mishandling of cables, shall be made good by the Tenderer. Cable should be maggered before and after laying and recorded in a register and submitted to the site Engineer.

Transportation, excavation of pit, casting of foundation, plastering and erection of Steel Apparatus case (full size) with fixing of E-Type lock, wiring, cable entry, termination clamping, filling cable pit with sand, painting and lettering etc., as per Drg.No. 19-D1 and Drg.No. 19-D8 of IRSEM(Appendix-II). This includes earth work and/or masonry work required for securing the apparatus case as per site condition. Railway will supply apparatus case with 'E' type lock only from Railway stores at. Tenderer will supply all wiring materials, PBT Terminals, fuses, fuse blocks, bus 9 bars, hylum sheet ISI mark [6mm thickness], wood plank board of good quality [minimum 3/4" thick, Cement and transport all the materials to site of work at his own cost. The wiring materials such as wire coils, PBT terminals, fuses, fuse block, etc. should be used from RDSO approved sources. "1) Modification of inside arrangement of Apparatus cases if required for fixing of relays/transformers etc. shall be done by the contractor. Extra shelf, if any, shall be deposited to the Railway stores by the contractor. 2) All cables shall be terminated by providing copper eyelet of suitable size." Note:-(i) If location box foundation is available at site 20% of the cost is to be deducted.(ii) 40% payment shall be released after erection of location boxes.

Drg.No. 19-D2 and Drg.No. 19-D9 of 10 IRSEM(Appendix-II) . This includes earth work and/or masonry work required for securing the apparatus case as per site condition. Railway will supply apparatus case with 'E' type lock only. Tenderer shall supply all wiring materials, PBT Terminals, fuses, fuse blocks, bus bars, hylum sheet ISI mark [6mm thickness], wood plank board of good quality [minimum 3/4" thick, cement and any other materials that are required for the work at his own cost. Contractor has to transport all the materials from store at his own cost to the work site. The wiring materials such as wire coils, PBT terminals, fuses, fuse block, etc. should be used from RDSO approved sources. Alteration of wiring in existing apparatus cases full/half. This includes supply of all 11 materials in connection with alteration in wiring. All the materials shall be supplied by the contractor at his own cost. This includes entry of cables, sand filling and masonry work involved. Lettering and painting to be done by the contractor at his own cost. Railway shall supply only relays and relay bases.

Transportation and jointing (straight through and derivation) of PIJF/quad cables size TSF-IV as per Specn No. IRS: TC-31/96 & IRS 30/97. Jointing kits shall be supplied by the Railway. All other materials shall be supplied by the tenderer.

"Supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of earth electrode (make TATA or Jindal as per Rly. practice) including MS flat for signalling equipments on lever frame, apparatus cases, signal, relay racks, cable termination rack, block instrument etc. Supply & 14 installation of earth electrode is to be done as per drawing no. Drg.No.19-D5 and Drg.No. 19-D6 of IRSEM(Appendix-II) . Laying of earth lead mild steel flat of size 35mmX6mm and fixing of lead MS flat (make TATA /Jindal or Similar) to earth electrode and lever frame, signal post & apparatus cases etc and cement enclosure for earth electrode as per Drg. No. 19-D-6 of SEM. NOTE: This includes testing of earth value and indication the same on the Earth enclosure by paint."

Fixing of cable route marker as per drawing in" section-H" at a distance of 100 mtrs. Along the trench and at places where the cable route has taken diversion as per instruction of site 15 Engineer, this includes casting of foundation at site and fixing of the marker in the foundation made earlier at site as per railway directives and specifications, this includes proper curing of the structure, All materials required for this like cement, sand 15 mm chips and steel rod of ISI marks should be supplied by the tenderer.

Supply ,transportation & installation of Optical Fibre cable joint enclosure and splicing of OFC (24 Fibre) and testing. OFC spicing shall be done in presence of Railway Representative.

Supply, transportation, and installation of RCC joint chamber with two piece top cover 17 and bottom cover with hole for drainage and cable entry as per drawing No.RCIL/ER/DRG-02/06 (Section-H). This includes trenching for joint pit, back filling and ramming of pit after placing the joint closure and cable loop in the chamber without causing damage to the same and consolidation of soilas well as disposal of excess soil.

Excavation of trenches including clearing of roots of trees etc., in rocky area up to a depth to be indicated by Railway Engineer at site as per the site condition [Minimum 0.6 meter] and 18 width 0.3 Mts. at the bottom. This includes concreting & plastering as per the instructions of site Engineer and complete back filling by digging earth from a lead of 30 Mtr. In case 0.8 meter depth or higher is achieved no concreting is required, otherwise concreting up to 100 mm thickness should be done. All materials required for the above works shall be supplied by the Contractor.

Transportation of HDPE pipe from the store to work site, laying of the same (With 4 mm nylon rope, pre inserted inside the HDPE pipe) in excavated trench/ already laid GI/ RCC pipe / tubes, jointing, leveling and end sealing the pipes, HDPE pipe, couplers and end caps shall be supplied by Railway, Nylon rope shall be supplied by the contractor.

Transportation of OFC from the store of to work site with care, and pushing/ pulling OFC through the HDPE pipes sealing of the duct by simple plugs. The cable is to be laid by 20 mechanised means. At inaccessible places where mechanised laying is not possible, the cable is to be laid manually by pulling through pre inserted rope. Empty cable drums with or without leftover cable should be returned to the store. This also includes testing of cable drums by OTDR in the store premises before transportation and submission of results thereof.

Horizontal direction drilling/boring without damage of surface of road/track formation. The bore shall be 150 mm dia. And shall be at the proper depth as per site conditions decided by Engineer incharge. The ground level shall be considered ignoring the bankheight of the bank of the 21 road.The length of the bore shall be minimum 04 Mtr. long. This include insertion of different dia. DWC/GI/HDPE pipes coupling etc as per direction of Engineer incharge. NOTE: The cost of pipe is not included in this item.Contractor shall provide all materrial required for boring and adequate nos. of labourers for proper laying of cables in to the bore. Cable shall be laid cautiously so that it should not get damage due to rough handling and pressure on cable. Above/

Supply of VF transformer 470:1120 (rack mountable) as per Spec No- IRS:TC 22/76 with latest Amnd. Inspection by the Representative of Railway.

Supply of Steel Apparatus case 'Half Size' as per Drg.No.S&T/CON/BBS/92/90 with 'E' type lock & Key. Ward No. 32. Inspection by RITES.

Supply of Steel Apparatus case 'large Size' as per Drg. No - CON/SK/1/1/86 and Spec.No. IRS:S-10/78 (adv) with latest amnd. with "E" type lock and key of ward No-32 with handle. Inspection by RITES.

"Supply of double walled corrugated pipe 6 mtr in length, 120 mm outer dia and 103 4 mm inner dia, with one suitable coupler conforming to RDSO Specification No. RDSO/SPN/204/2011 Version 1.1 Amdt 1 or latest for under ground cable protection . Colour-Orange. Inspection by RITES. Note: If required, the DWC pipe shall be supplied split in two halves."

"Supply of Permanently lubricated two layer type HDPE duct, outer dia 40 mm, inner 5 dia 33 mm with three end plugs and two couplers for every Km length of pipe in length of 500 m confirming to RDSO Spec. No. RDSO/SPN/TC/45/2013.Rev.2.0 Amendment 2.0 or latest. Inspection by RITES. Note: The HDPE Duct should be pre inserted with 4 mm nylon rope, inside the HDPE Duct."

Supply of Perforated G.I. pipe of 100 mm dia with socket. G.I. pipe of make 6 TATA/JINDAL shall be as per IS: 1239 part-I/2004 Specification for medium gauge and shall be perforated by drilling 7 mm dia holes length wise in zig-zag manner staggered at a distance of 300 mm. Inspection by the Representative of Railway.

Supply of 4 wire way station equipment with telephone, DTMF Signalling as per Spec No- IRS:TC 60/2007 amendment 1 or with latest amendment. Inspection by the Representative of Railway.

Supply and transportation of Light weight portable control telephone combined type as per Spec No- IRS-TC 78/2000 amdt 3. Inspection by the Representative of Railway.

Supply of Magneto Telephone Desk type to Specification No. IRS: TC-36/97 amd 2. or IRS:TC 79/2000 Amdt. 4 as per Railway requirment. Inspection by the Representative of Railway.

Supply of Emergency socket box of FRP Material approved type complete with 6 pin way female pin as per RDSO Spec. No. RDSO/SPN/TC/44/2002 Ver. 2 Amd 3 or latest amendment. Inspection by the Representative of Railway.
