Excavation in foundations, trenches etc. in earth work, lift upto 1.50 metres stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 metres clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm layers, when required in to plinths sides of foundations etc., consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed within a lead of 20 metres complete in all respects as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches Flanged MSERW pipe of the following diameters conforming to BIS: 3183-2007 of the mentioned grade, diameter and having wall thickness as specified below, with plain ends and capable of withstanding the required pressure in random lengths of 4 to 7 meters, including specials, short pieces, bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube, and providing and welding of MS flanges as detailed below. The MS flanges shall conform to BIS: 6392-1971 (with latest up-to-date amendments), duly welded in three layers with pipes at both ends as per relevant BIS standards, along with nuts and bolts of required sizes and 3 mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/synthetic rubber gaskets conforming to relevant BIS standards. The laying of pipe will include all operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, providing and fixing of MS flanges, fabrication of bends, tees etc., including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure the required level, and including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per relevant IS standards, and the damaged portion of the pipes and specials made from parent tube shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1979. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS: 814 of Advani Oerlikon / L&T or any ISI-marked make. The rates also include entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge within all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches will be measured and paid for separately.)
350mm dia MSERW Pipe, 4.80mm thickness FT-5 (L-210)
Providing, supplying, and fixing Cast Iron Double Flanged Sluice Valve of following diameter, conforming to IS:14846–2000 (latest edition with up-to-date amendments) of approved make such as Kirloskar, Leader or KSB suitable for a working pressure of PN 1, complete with Mild Steel flanges conforming to Table 5 of IS:6392–1971 or latest revision, including all necessary fittings, nuts, bolts, washers, and specials as required, all conforming to the relevant IS specifications. The work shall include cutting of existing pipes wherever necessary and welding in three layers (leak-proof) strictly in accordance with IS:816–1969 (latest amendment) to ensure proper alignment and joint integrity. A packing sheet of asbestos fibre or suitable gasket material, minimum 3 mm thick, shall be used between flanged joints to ensure perfect tightness and prevent leakage. All surfaces of the sluice valve and connected fittings shall be cleaned, primed, and painted with two or more coats of high-quality anti-corrosive paint to protect against rust and corrosion. The work shall be executed complete in all respects including all leads, lifts, labour, tools, and materials, DP test, strictly in accordance with the relevant IS Codes and to the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Cast Iron Double Flanged Sluice Valve 350mm dia
Providing, supplying, and fixing Alfa Valve of following diameter, conforming to relevent IS Code (latest edition with up-to-date amendments) of approved make as per site requirement. The work shall be executed complete in all respects including all leads, lifts, labour, tools, and all required accessories and to the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
355 mm diameter
Providing, welding, and fixing Mild Steel Flanges of following nominal diameter as per specified Flange Tables, conforming to IS:6392–1971 (latest revision with up-to-date amendments), to API / MSERW / G.I. pipes as required at site. The work shall include cutting of existing pipes wherever necessary and welding in three layers (leak-proof) strictly in accordance with IS:816–1969 (latest amendment) to ensure sound and durable joints. The flanged joints shall be provided with nuts, bolts, and washers conforming to IS:1363 (latest revision) and with a packing sheet of asbestos fibre or equivalent gasket material, minimum 3 mm thick, to ensure proper sealing and prevent leakage. All exposed metal surfaces shall be thoroughly cleaned, primed, and painted with two or more coats of high-quality anti-corrosive paint to provide long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion. The work shall be executed complete in all respects including all leads, lifts, labour, tools, and materials, DP test, strictly in accordance with the relevant IS Codes and to the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
MS Flange 350mm diameter, FT-5
Providing and fixing PVC pipe of 75 mm diameter as per IS: 4985-2000 (latest edition with up-to-date amendments), having a test pressure of 6 kg/cm², for weep holes in retaining walls in all leads and lifts and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Boulder / Stone filling behind retaining walls in all respects, within all leads and lifts, and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches HDPE pipes of approved make (preferably Reliance / Duraline / Jain Irrigation or equivalent), conforming to IS 4984:2016 with up-to-date amendments, of material grade PE-80 and pressure rating class PN-6 or as per design, including compression fittings such as tees, elbows, adapters with metal inserts, reducers and service saddles as required at site, and jointing of pipes and fittings using an electrofusion machine, complete in all respects, in all leads and lifts, and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
