Providing and laying non-pressure NP3 class R.C.C. pipes spigot and socket type, jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. complete - 450 mm dia. R.C.C. pipe.

Excavation in all kinds of Soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.90 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, triming bottom and side slopes, transporting the excavated earth to the filling locations within 15 km distance (including to and fro) of Airport premises including all leads and lifts, breaking clods, levelling fine dressing in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections as per specifications and drawings complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Consolidation of sub grade with vibratory roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity including watering etc. complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: This item shall only be used for compaction of subgrade earth before laying any murrom / GSB / WMM layer over subgrade)

Supply of granular material (moorum) obtained from approved quarry outisde Airport premises with all lifts, leads and transportation to Airport site complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: i) This item will be executed only after instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. ii) Cost includes all leads, taxes, royalty and operations)

Laying, spreading and compaction of available excavated earth / moorum including spreading in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, levelling, providing camber, grading with motor grader and compacting each deposited layer with vibratory roller of 8-10 tonne capacity to obtain field density not less than 97% relative compaction as percentage of maximum dry density (MDD), including making good the undulations etc. as per technical specifications and drawings, for all leads and lifts complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge
