B.O.Q Civil works related to increasing capacity from (1x40+2x63) MVA to (3x63) MVA at 132 KV Sub-Station Kasia, Kushinagar. (SOR-05/2024)

Earth work in excavation all kinds of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 SqM on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and for all lift, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.( 2.6.1)

Excavating, supplying, stacking and filling of local earth by mechanical transport upto a lead of 5km also including ramming and watering of the earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in foundation trenches, plinth, sides of foundation etc. complete for all lift. (2.25)(a)

Supplying and filling in plinth with sand under floors, including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete.(2.27)

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.(2.31)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level.(4.1.8 )

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete up to plinth level.( 5.22.6)

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in:Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)(6.1.1)

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.(15.3)

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.In cement mortar.(15.7.4)

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.(15.60)

Providing and fixing pre-moulded joint filler in expansion joints of RCC roads / CC pavements after making the joints dust free with high pressure air jet cleaners, all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Pre-moulded joint fillers shall be made of bitumen hot sealing compound impregnated fibre board having impregnation more than 35%, conforming to IS:1838 for fibre board and IS: 1834 for hot sealing bitumen compound grade A.)(16.45)

Providing and laying C.C. pavement of mix M-25 with ready mixed concrete from batching plant. The ready mixed concrete shall be laid and finished with screed board vibrator , vacuum dewatering process and finally finished by floating, brooming with wire brush etc. complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. (The panel shuttering work shall be paid for separately).(Note:- Cement content considered in this item is @ 330 kg/cum. Excess/less cement used as per design mix is payable/ recoverable separately).Deduct for using of M-20 grade concrete instead of M-25 grade concrete in C.C. pavement.(16.75-16.76)

4.0 cm thick 1:1.5:3 plain cement concrete floor with cement, approved coarse sand & 2cm graded approved stone ballast laid in panels finished with 3mm floating coat of neat cement or cement and marble dust in ratio of 5:1 as specified and removing any overlapping mortar at the joints of the panels if any and giving them a uniform finish including supply of all materials, labour and T&P etc, required for proper completion of the work. without base CC (29.36)

Conditions:

1. All civil work shall be executed according to the approved drawings of UPPTCL.

2. The quantities in BOQ are tentative and may vary up to any extent or be deleted as per the requirement at site.

3. All civil work shall be carried out as per UPPWD/UPPTCL specification.

4. Rates in BOQ are exclusive of CGST,SGST. Labour tax shall be borne by contractor.

5. Pozzlona Portland cement confirming to IS 1489(Part 1) 1991 of approved quality like ACC,Ultra Tech,Birla or equi.shall only be used.

6. Overweight steel section within tolerance shall be measured at standard weight and underweight steel section within tolerence shall be measured at actual weight.

7. In case any change in Bill of Quantity is suggested by higher authority that will be binding on the contractor.The agreement shall be executed on the approved Bill of Quantity only.

8.Performance Guarantee shall be applicable as per GO 622/23-12-2012-2 Audit/08 dt 08 June 2012.adopted by UPPTCL BOD dated 27.06.2017

9. The 60% amount of bricks available from dismantling shall be reovered @ Rs. 2362.00/thousand + GST from firm /contractor.

10. The 30% amount of bricks available from dismantling shall be reovered as brick ballast @ Rs. 700.00/CuM + GST from firm /contractor.

11. The amount of steel/Chain link/Pale Fencing available from dismantling will be recovered Rs. 20.00/Kg + GST from firm /contractor.
